A good budget hotel in a location convenient to restaurants and large mall. Room came with a large TV, fridge and microwave. Dog friendly. Quiet. Parking lot well lit. All for the price of what some campgrounds charge for a night. Our only complaint was the mattress, which squeaked horribly with the slightest movement. But for the price, would stay here again.

Parking was great very convenient Wide parking lot. Enjoyed that there is fridge and microwave in room got to eat my pizza which bought at Walmart. Everything does and restaurants are very close to this cozy place. I disliked that i had to check out due to my traveling appointment back home.

Obviously the owners were renovating but the gallaays, stairs, etc were dirty. My room had no closet or dresser so no place to put my clothes forbthe week i was there. No iron in the room but i was able to get 1 from the lobby. Didnt believe the deadbolt worked on the door. Never replaced the plasic glasses i used at the sink. The shower didnt drain properly due to a bunch of hair in the drain - some of which was not my hair color. Only 1 washer and dryer in a storage room piled with stuff. Parking lot had garbage and cig butts all over it. Security door on side of building was propped open with something - a security risk. I wouldnt stay here again and it cost me about $200/nite.

Took a while to check in even though we already had the reservation. The side door to the building was unlocked so anyone can just walk right into the hotel. It was fine but wasn't worth the price. We just picked it because it was the last room in the area. Rooms were clean but had hair on the bed and pillow cases. We were woken up at 5:40am by probably a garbage truck and then the people that stayed below us were SO LOUD yelling and talking way to loud for 6am. The walls were very thin.

Older facility definitely need updating. The staff was very friendly. convenient location. Plenty of parking great water pressure. It’s just old and needs a major update. There’s no place to hang up clothes.

The building and the room smelled horrible. The building and the rooms are so outdated. Not maintained at all. Toilet would hard flush, you had to keep pushing the handle down and it was so loud when it was running. I felt like i was in a prison cell.

Would not stay there again if they paid for the room!! Bed was very hard and uncomfortable on a stainless steel box that squeaked everything you moved…breakfast was coffee and a muffin…I do not drink coffee. Doors were not secured, ni key access. Place was dirty and dusty!! You get what you pay for in life!!

The desk clerk gave us no information (eg WiFi password, etc. The TV was impossible—couldn’t figure out how to work it. I took a shower and walked on the flood my feet were dirty instantly.

For what it is, not to bad. $50 per night your expectations shouldn’t be Ritz Carlton. That said this is bare bones. No cups or glasses present, no closet or hangers, rough conditions bedding, linens, only one chair in the room. The good, refrigerator and AC unit worked well, it was quiet. You do have to ask for room to be serviced for new towels, trash removal etc.

Beds are on solid metal bases/frames that are super loud when you roll over, sit on the bed or sometimes for no reason at all. Staff were friendly and our request for extra towel and a maintenance item were addressed quickly. Road noise is a bit loud too if you are on the south side facing college ave. It’s a budget hotel but comfortable.

I never received a confirmation for this reservation. I also called to confirm before we traveled and they said I had no reservation so we drove home. Not cool not sure where the communication breakdown occurred but I had trouble booking now looks like I’m getting billed for something I could not find any details about.

Room was horrific, premium charge for below sub par accommodation. They double charged me even tho it was pay at property, they charged the credit card before arrival. After confronting them they denied and I took me 2 weeks to fight for my money back. They charged it thru a sister hotel next door so they denied it was them. Wouldn’t sleep here, the car is a much safer and clean than this place

I paid for the room. I go to check-in a little before 2am. I sat and patiently rang the bell and the electric door bell for 20 minutes and then I began to, in a loud voice, to check in. NO F'N RESPONSE! AVOID THIS PLACE AND ITS BROKEN WINDOWS. I did to young cats that were loose, BUT AVOID THIS CRAPPY HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND SPACE. F' THEM.

Not worth it. Luckily, I only had to spend one night. Didn’t wanna look at the tub it looked so bad the room itself probably looked the same way it did 40 years ago. it said continental breakfast. All it had was coffee.

Very friendly husband and wife. There's a common area baby kitten named Kitty Kitty. Coffee is actually very good. Fresh large muffins for breakfast. Will be staying here again.

Bath tub needs to replace Noisy around Neighbour area, ambulances at midnight woke us up. No sofa or comfy chair in room, In Breakfast just muffins n coffee which is not fair, must be more items included. Sink was out side the bathroom near door not feels good.

The Economy Inn in Appleton is a diamond in the rough for anyone interested in anything from a nice Laid Back quiet and private stay for spa style relaxation or for those wanting to do some extended serious shopping in and around the Fox River Mall. The Hotel is almost completely redone and is, as I call it Covid-Clean, that is, it has responded to the new cleanliness standards that the pandemic made us all aware of - lobby to rooms are very clean. They offer competitive rates for people needing lodging and will help you start your day with at least a free packaged muffin and some coffee. Great parking and very friendly and secure staff. I stayed here for about a week and really enjoyed myself. For a single lodger in a Queen bed it was about $60 per night (that is the final bill) when booked here on Expedia, which is the Preference of Choice.
