Lovely small hotel with on site breakfast bistro, full service restaurant and 2 taverns. Very close to all the shopping, restaurants and attractions that Kenmare offers. Ideal location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Older property that has been well maintained. Very comfortable bed. Parking is available on location. If it’s full, park in the adjacent gravel lot that seems to be unattached to the Lansdowne but available for anyone to use.

Our stay in the Lansdowne was fantastic. From the second we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and our two day stay was so enjoyable. We ate in the cafe and the restaurant and the food was top class. Would recommend a stay in this hotel to anyone visiting Kenmare and the overall cost of our stay was very competitive. We will most certainly be back.

Our room was immaculate. It was comfortable, large and it even had a Christmas tree. In fact the entire hotel was decorated for Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed our night there and wish we had been able to stay longer. The local folks playing traditional Irish music in the bar was the highlight of our trip.

What an amazing hotel and super friendly staff. The room as gorgeous as was the bar and all parts of the hotel. We had a night cap in the bar and there were traditional Irish musicians which was fantastic. The bar man was very knowledgeable about the whiskies. Breakfast was superb too - possibly the best porridge I’ve ever had. If you’re even visiting Kenmare I would highly recommend the Lansdowne. An outstanding hotel!

This hotel is a gem. The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect. Easy to park on-site, or nearby. The bed and pillows are top notch and luxurious. The hotel amenities (restaurant, bars, cafe) are high quality and serve delicious food. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We are very glad we chose to stay here and definitely recommend it.

The hotel was fantastic - very clean, right on the main road with all the shops. Staff were fantastic. We left an item, sent and e-mail to them explaining what was left and they sent it to us via post. Cannot say enough good things about the Lansdowne Kenmare.

The property manager was super sweet!!!! We were told that we’ll have to wait 20 minutes for our room to be ready so for that we got a free drink! 20 minutes! That is nothing! In the end, we waited maybe only 10 minutes and the staff was so kind they brought our heavy luggage upstairs for us and did not want a tip! We felt that they treated us like royalty! Our room was spacious and clean. What more could we ask for!

Hotel staff very professional, friendly and helpful. Our room (Executive with king bed) was very comfortable and spacious. Note that there are no elevators/lifts at the hotel so if you have trouble managing stairs, reserve a ground floor room. However the staff carried our largest luggage up and down the stairs for us. The food was very good. We had homemade soups (the potato and leek soup was delicious) and the sandwiches on sourdough bread were very good (we had the ham special sandwich and the roasted chicken with stuffing sandwich). The location was perfect! Very short walking distance to many pubs, restaurants and shopping. And we felt very safe walking around town. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Landsdowne Kenmare.

Amazing staff. Decor in hotel is very stylish except for bedrooms. Although they were comfortable, the record was very bland and lacked luxury. For that reason, I would not return. Breakfast to the room was amazing . Again, the staff are real stars of the show. A beautiful Kerry welcome.

I thought this hotel was perfectly placed in Kenmare. It is a very nice and cozy property with very firendly and helpful staff. They reached out to me ahead of time to ask if I needed a dining reservation and procured a table at the best place in town.

Beautiful, vibrant town with many pubs and restaurants. The women at the front desk(I can’t remember her name) but she was from South Africa was AMAZING! Super friendly and incredibly helpful. She gave us great recommendations for nearby pubs and day trips during our visit. I really can’t say enough about her.

The manager at the reception made everything about the start cheery and positive (originally from South Africa). She is very helpful towards all guests. This is a fine hotel - listened to the live Irish music they had in the bar. Wonderful!

The hotel was fantastic - very clean, right on the main road with all the shops. Staff were fantastic. We left an item, sent and e-mail to them explaining what was left and they sent it to us via post. Cannot say enough good things about the Lansdowne Kenmare.

A lovely hotel with character, comfortable sitting areas, a nice morning breakfast room, bar and lounge area. No elevators but staff was willing to help carry bags if needed. Rooms were clean and nice, on the smaller side but comfortable. The hotel is nicely located.

This is such a gem! Cute boutique style hotel that kept is charm but has been updated in the past 5 years (i think 2021) and it is beautiful. Staff is so helpful and pointed out great stores, restaurants, and pubs. They are on the corner of the walkable shopping district (so not in the chaos but easy to go have fun) and only a 5 minute walk to a lovely little park with walking trail. This hotel has a fabulous staff -- folks just waiting to help answer questions, provide suggestions for things to do or places to eat, give directions, etc. The location is good - close enough to all the action in Kenmare but on the edge of town so it's quiet as well. I would highly recommend this facility.

Stayed for two nights, the staff were super friendly. We ate in the restaurant and couldn’t fault the food then had drinks in the bar afterwards. Beautiful room with coffee machine and nice toiletries. Would stay again when we visit Kenmare

Our stay in the Lansdowne was fantastic. From the second we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and our two day stay was so enjoyable. We ate in the cafe and the restaurant and the food was top class. Would recommend a stay in this hotel to anyone visiting Kenmare and the overall cost of our stay was very competitive. We will most certainly be back.

What an amazing hotel and super friendly staff. The room as gorgeous as was the bar and all parts of the hotel. We had a night cap in the bar and there were traditional Irish musicians which was fantastic. The bar man was very knowledgeable about the whiskies. Breakfast was superb too - possibly the best porridge I’ve ever had. If you’re even visiting Kenmare I would highly recommend the Lansdowne. An outstanding hotel!

The room was very clean. Of note - no elevator so if you are on upper floor you will have to walk up. The gentleman who checked us in did carry my bag upstairs for me. Also, there is no air conditioner in the rooms, but they do have a large standing fan. They did not have a breakfast buffet included the way most European hotels do but you could buy breakfast or some delicious scones or croissants in the cafe. The Poet lounge was a great place for a drink on Saturday evening with some live music and the hotel is situated in a great location
