Excellent emplacement : proche des transports en commun (notamment du Tram direct pour miyajima ou la gare), à quelques pas du memorial et d’Hondori. Nous avons croisé une employée adorable. La chambre était grande et confortable.

Vi kom til Hiroshima i 13 tiden og skulle bare innom hotellet for å sette fra oss bagasjen. Ble da møtt av verdens hyggeligste dame som ønsket oss velkommen og sa at rommene allerede var klare og vi kunne få tilgang med en gang! Men pga deres automatiske inncheckingsystem kunne vi ikke sjekke inn på systemet før kl 16.00 og få kode til rommet. Det var helt ok - vi hadde planlagt å dra rett ut på sightseeingtur😊. Men godt å mulighet til å skifte litt etter reisen . Hotellet Ligger perfekt nære fredsparken i et veldig rolig nabolag. Finnes noen restauranter i nærheten og en supermarked rundt hjørnet . På andre siden av fredsparken finnes et større utvalg restauranter og shopping ca 10-15 unna. Rent og pent 😊

What a gem of a hotel! The vibe is much of a boutique hotel. Our room was big compared to other Japanese hotels in this price range. We had three large twin beds which allowed our family to stay in 1 room. There was a sitting area with couches. There was a separate kitchenette with microwave and stove. Then there was a washing machine in a separate room with detergent -- what a godsend, as it was unexpected yet needed. There were free room amenities in the lobby including toiletries and coffee/ tea. Unexpectedly, as the lobby is NOT manned, there was a cable lock system where you could secure your baggage should you want to sight see after you checked out. Just 1 caveat that I missed when reserving -- there are no staff persons in this hotel. And I didn't get an email for the code you need to: 1. enter the complex 2. register 3. get the lock combo to enter your room. Initially anxiety provoking BUT called the " contact property" link on the Expedia reservation and they walked me through the process easily. Screen shot the codes when you check in! You'll need them. It is not walking distance to the train station but so close to the Memorial park and the ferry to Miyajima Island which is why we chose this hotel. I met the owner of the hotel - clearly the property reflects her kindness and grace. So happy we stayed here but make sure you have the email before arriving.

On walking to the accommodation we were a little concerned as it seemed a bit like suburbia (as it turned out not necessarily a terrible thing but depends what you're looking for) but on arrival found the hotel a bit surprising. Very neat and tidy with only 2 levels and 10 (or 12) rooms. I'm not sure if the rooms are all the same but ours was big with 2 double beds, a living area, kitchenette and bathroom with washing machine. It was only a few hundred metres to the Peace park and transport options were within 300 metres. Would recommend.
