Enjoyed our weekend stay at this hotel. We were welcomed by the staff in a very nice and friendly way. They made sure to provide us all details upfront for our stay and also for the discounted parking. Location is great and convenient to many subway lines running through lower Manhattan all the way through the city. Would recommend and stay again

Only stayed one night, but it was all good. Two elevators were down so that made it very busy. Roof top balcony bar was really nice. Great view.

I picked Cloud one because of its proximity and view of the WTC Memorial and River. I was not disappointed. Our 21st floor corner room directly overlooked the Fountains and Tower. Amazing view making it worth every cent we paid despite the flaws. 1. Watch out for construction. New skyscrapers are going up in front and on one side, It makes it tough to get luggage in. 2. No room service. No ice or vending machines. 3. No drawers or much space for belongings. 4. Good soundproofing except all the doors slam. Overall, if an unmatched view of the WTC Memorial area is your priority and can put up with the flaws then this could be a great choice. Note, if we didn’t have the spectacular view then this place would not be highly recommended because of the noted issues.

The staff was amazing, check in was super easy! I love that you can pay for you stay soon as you enter. So that way you don't have to worry about dealing with paying for the stay later. Leaves you with a easy checkout when its time to leave. I love that the bathroom is spacious, and clean, beds are super comfortable. I just wish the fridge was a little bigger and they had a microwave and ice machine. But other than that hotel is amazing would stay again!

Beautiful lobby, awesome wine bar on 6th floor, very clean rooms. Most comfortable bed everrrrrr! Our first accommodations fell through and were not good so we last minute booked this hotel and it was amazing. 10/10 recommend

Staff was great. Hotel is nicely designed and clean. Breakfast is perfect and worth the expense- even for my children. The parking was very problematic even using their recommended lot. It was unclear, hard to find, entrance not the same as the exit, and you have to pre-register the vehicle. It was a lot to deal with for me at 11pm but if you know all of that in advance, I guess it's ok. I would definitely stay here again. Gorgeous views too.

If you prefer to stay in, the hotel boasts a stylish bar where you can unwind and savor crafted cocktails, as well as a charming diner on the main floor offering delicious meals. The soft, ambient lighting in the rooms enhances the tranquil atmosphere, ensuring a restful retreat during our stay. I recommend this hotel for a weekend stay in the City.

Very clean and well maintained for NYC. Probably the cleanest here that I've stayed at. Will definitely stay here again next time.

Had a great stay - room was clean, quiet and had a great view.

First we arrived.. gave us room key went up in very slow elevators . Our room was dirty had to go back dwn get another room.. was small dead bugs on sheets.. kept to myself my daughter would have flipped.. front desk was friendly though

We booked this hotel for two nights and on the first night the room assigned to us (1204) had “skid” marks on the toilet bowl and the sink was clogged building up water as you use the faucet that was also leaking. We got to the hotel late at night and we were exhausted to come downstairs and complain about it. We decided to go to sleep and deal with that first thing in the morning. Barely we could sleep because the air conditioner was so loud and making this “dripping” noise the whole night. Next day we spoke to one the receptionist and she assigned a second room to us (1207). As soon we opened the door we could smell this wet dog/mold smell. Because we had this just one more day in New York, on our way out we talked to same person about the smell and she mentioned that the room had that smell because it was closed (???). Thought hotels in downtown Manhattan had a high rotation of clients. When we came back to the hotel in the evening and we opened the door the smell was really bad. We decided to spray a spray a cologne until we figured it out what to do until I walked beside the bed on the right side and noticed that the whole carpet on that side was soaking wet. Now it made sense the “wet dog/mold smell”. We again complained about it and asked them to change our room again and their first response was to send a clear with two little cleaning cloths to “dry” the carpet. After a a third change that they decided to assign a 4th room (upgraded) which was decent to sleep in.

Clean, spacious, modern and comfortable.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a short walk from Times Square. This was my second stay, and while the rooms are extremely small, it’s somewhat expected given the area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired. There were visible stains and streaks on the mirror, scuff marks in the toilet, and hair on the linens. The hallways also felt dark and a bit gloomy. On a positive note, the check-in process was smooth, and the staff was accommodating—but that was the only real highlight of the stay.

I loved the location of the hotel, though downtown manhattan/financial district there was so much to explore. We didn’t even scratch the surface. The staff were kind , welcoming and simply amazing. They were so hospitable which made a huge difference as we have never been to NYC before. Our room size was perfect, so much space, the beds were comfortable- and the shower was exceptionally clean. One thing I always look out for is a clean shower and the hotel didn’t disappoint. I would definitely recommend a room with the city view. It was so beautiful day or night ! One thing I think the hotel could improve on is having a phone in the room. As visitors to the USA we had an eSIM which covered data but not call which meant we couldn’t call reception if we had any queries or concerns. Instead of going downstairs. Besides that we enjoyed our 6 days in NYC and I can’t wait to come back

The room had bugs, walls dirty vents dirty

I wish the foyer area would have been more clean, it very short but you could see all the hair that wasn't cleaned up. Everything else was spectacular! My view in room 1912 was top notch, I had a clear view of the WTC tower and 9/11 memorable, it was special to have that. Highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

When we arrived early, they were very accommodating and we were able to get us into a lower floor room so we did not have to store our luggage in the lobby area. We lowered our AC to 72, so it would be comfortable when we returned. After an afternoon of fun in New York City, we came back and found our room had increased to 82°. I went downstairs and explained the AC was not working properly. They confirmed that the AC has a motion sensor on it and it only works when there is motion in the room. I was explaining to them that I was concerned about our sleep and that we would not be moving in the room to allow the AC to continue to work and they replied that it would not be a problem as this is they have “never had a complaint about their AC“. Unfortunately, the AC only works when there is several minutes of activity in the room as it has a motion sensor on it. I woke up at 1:30 in the morning with the interior of the room at 82°. It is a terrible system that they choose to have trying to save a few pennies when we’re paying several hundred dollars a night. Clearly, they only care about their bottom line and not the quality of the stay.

Water was scalding hot at night when I tried to wash my face before bedtime. Could not even get it to be just warm. Was too tired to care but when I got up at 6:30 am to take a shower and get ready for a conference, the shower water was scalding hot. I love a hot shower….but there was literally no way to get into that water. I had to pack up my entire room and move to another room quickly in the morning. I had unpacked and had everything on hangers and it was a rough morning to shove it all back and run to another room with boxes of promotional materials. Hectic start to the morning. That room was also really hot during the night. New room had good temperature and a shower with warm water but pillows were really high in that room and not comfortable for sleeping. I understand problems happen but not sure why the hotel didn’t know about the problem ahead of time and try to make accommodations. They said another guy had switched rooms too. Other than that it was a nice hotel and very centrally located.

The Cloud One Hotel is in a fantastic location – directly across from Ground Zero and just steps from major downtown landmarks and subway stations. It’s brand new, clean, and stylish, with a modern design that feels fresh and welcoming. The rooms are quite small, as is typical in NYC, but very well-designed and comfortable for short stays.

Overall this property was a good stay. I would not recommend the breakfast in the hotel. Very expensive for cereal and pastries. Support a local business next door.

Do not stay here if you need good air circulation in your room. We were originally given room 2003. The compressor on the AC turned on once for 10 minutes and didn’t come back on. The fan barely pushed out air and the room got hot. We had to change rooms in the middle of the night. We were given room 9006. Same situation, however the air was slightly cooler so my daughter and I could manage. When we asked about why our room had such poor circulation, we were given a story about motion sensors. That couldn’t be, because no matter what we did in that room, the compressor would not turn on. They have no cans to offer either. And our refrigerator didn’t work.

Air conditioner in room was very very noisy and vibrated. Kept me up all night.

No hot water on days 3 and 4

Had a great stay here. Got the 2 queen corner room with the river and memorial pool view and it was stunning. Front desk were very nice and helpful. Would 100% stay again!

The staff is always incredible! Helena, at the front desk continually provides exceptional customer care. They are all quick to respond to needs, make adjustments, as well as have us in a room early. Which was SO wonderful after a red eye flight! I continually stay here for so many reasons, the location, ease of it all and the staff. Thank you for being exceptional!

The check in process I found odd, we had to pay on arrival. I have traveled extensively and never paid upon arrival. My employees had booked and reserved their rooms with our corporate card, and had to pay out of pocket upon arrival. They couldn’t charge the card. It was then a huge hassle for the employee working the desk the next morning to switch the payment over to my corporate card. She was rude, and acted put out by having to do this. The room itself was nice, big for NYC standard. I probably would stay again if it weren’t for the employees and check in process.

My stay was great at Cloud One. In particular, I wanted to call out and commend Noha for her patience and help in retrieving my my checked bag and sending it on to JFK. This was a bit of a logistical nightmare but Noha pulled it off, I got my bag and made my flight. Great customer service!!!

Front desk gave wrong information over the phone when I called to clarify things which made my check in very difficult and stressful.

Although the property is nice and the room was very quiet, there was one incident that taints my review. More for the response (or lack) from the property than anything. I had to leave a nearby meeting mid morning to return to my room to retrieve some medication. When I attempted to open my room the key didn’t register. Went to front desk got a new key. Still nothing. Returned to front desk they said engineering will meet me at the room. Went to room and waited. No one came. Back to the front desk. Blank looks and excuses. had already missed too much time from my meeting so I had to run and find a pharmacy and buy over the counter meds in place of my prescription meds. Not a good option but the best I could do. When I returned to the property hours later and stopped by the front desk for the 4th time on the matter they couldn’t verify that the key issue had been resolved and were almost accusatory that I hadn’t even reported it to anyone earlier in the day. They could only say that engineering had received the request. Luckily when I got to my room the door opened. No one ever addressed this with me or apologized for the inconvenience. A dead key reader is understandable. Their response was not. I spoke to at least 4 different people at reception about this. It should have been handled better.

Excellent location to the WTC and FiDi

I rarely stay downtown, but when I drive into the city, I need an easy commute with simple parking options. This hotel fits the bill. Easy access to the 1 to get uptown for a few shows and exceptional walking in Battery Park around the Village and SOHO. Clean and neat rooms that were fairly spacious by NYC standards. We scored a corner room with floor to ceiling windows which was a real bonus. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Staff was super helpful, location was surprisingly quiet for NYC (I couldn't hear street noise at night) but still very walkable and easy to get on the train to the rest of the city.

First time staying at The Cloud. World Trade Center literally one block from hotel. Hotel set in heart of financial district. Would definitely stay again!

Property was fine and room was nice. Construction happening next to building. Deli attached to the restaurant is mid and overpriced . Things around opened late kinda and transport available via trains everywhere.

The room was very comfortable and the view was incredible. Quiet area, staff was very nice. My only reason for rating this hotel 4 stars is the deli. The cafe/deli was not good. Everything took very long to come to the table, and the breakfast wasn’t good. The staff there were kind but the service was extremely slow. Next time I would take the walk to a local spot.

The property was amazing. The cleanliness was good. The convenience of the location was perfect. The only opportunity was the rooftop bar did not have any food selection, very limited appetizer selection, and drink selections. Decided to go out and spend the money somewhere else

A good priced hotel with a great view but no frills. Room was compact but larger than other hotels in the area. Bathroom good size with great water pressure. Cooling/heating is very efficient but very noisy. Shout out to the deli downstairs that doesn’t have a presence on their website - it’s a perfect coffee joint and bar. The Bar on 6th floor also great with great service.

The entry and lobby reeked of pot. Across the street from 9/11 memorial. Good downtown location. Check in was slow. Deli food was good. Clean and modern room.

Property didn’t have a good breakfast assortment for the expensive price. Eggs were watery, runny, and cold. For 25 dollars a head I expected a breakfast to have better options and quality.

I thought the place was great. Our room had a beautiful view of the city, and without a doubt, it has been one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The breakfast, which costs $25, is definitely worth it for the wide variety of food they offer. I was surprised that it had a more European than American style, but it was still very enjoyable. The stay and the staff were wonderful, and without hesitation, I would return to this place.

Great place to stay in battery park. It’s just a walk to the ferry, ground zero and to Brookfield Mall. The staff are friendly and nice. The room is clean. Breakfast had a lot of options. I can highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay, but we were charged $26 for a bagel on the 6th floor. I didn’t think that was fair, as I thought it was complimentary with our room, because no prices were posted. We got to the area 15 minutes before they closed, so we couldn’t even enjoy the view.
