Great view well kept property. Nice place to sit outside have a cocktail and look out over the water. Boasts a high quality restaurant yet did not put out coffee in the morning or have in room coffee service despite the nearest location was fifteen minutes away For avg price of 400 plus per night cannot even put out coffee and a continental breakfast for guests. Please cheap.

We had a lovely two night stay. The room, the 5 o’clock cocktails at the cozy bar and a wonderful meal on our first night was much appreciated. I’ve been going to Block Island for many years and this first stay at the Atlantic Inn was great. A short walk to town and to Water Street, although a fairly steep hill between, was fun and not too bad.

This is a beautiful place to stay on Block Island. The room (while a bit tiny) was well-appointed with modern facilities and products and all comforts. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the The Atlantic restaurant is excellent.

The restaurant and bar were very enjoyable as were the staff. My only comment would be I would like to see a bigger breakfast menu. A minor point compared to all the positive aspects of your hotel.

Really enjoyed our first trip to Block Island and staying at the Atlantic Inn! We had a 2nd floor room with an ocean view and king size bed. PROS: staff was super sweet; check in and check out easy and accommodating- rose on check in; restaurant for dinner lovely, drinks on porch and lawn lovely; location was close enough to town to walk but far enough to be quiet (the hill HARD on the bike tho haha). CONS: room had tiny bath and window that would not stay open- shower the size of a phone booth & no closet; breakfast was a waste of money- better to walk to town; no designated entry; could have offered bikes for rent; was our 1 year anniversary and even though i mentioned it to the reception staff and dining staff- no one did anything special- not even a note in the room- sort of a let down.

I can't say enough about our stay at The Atlantic Inn. Check in was the most pleasant I've ever experienced, thanks to the staff and owner. I was invited to sit in the quaint welcome area and they brought what was needed to me. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel concierge brought Prosecco and home baked cookies to our room, which we were able to enter early. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, responsive, and effective. The hotel is walking distance from town, but removed enough to be quiet and peaceful. The food at the restaurant was excellent. We ate at the indoors bar, on the porch, and on the lawn, all with spectacular water views. We brought our motorcycle and there was plenty of parking. The room was small (the bathroom, very small) but lovely and all was in working order, including the AC. Ocean view room with a bonus view of the adjacent zoo/farm. Amenities were great (snacks, water, toiletries). We loved our stay and can't wait to return.

The Atlantic is an old historic inn that was completely updated two years ago. The whole facility is immaculate. The staff was extremely attentive even though we were there pre-season. We will definitely stay at The Sylsntic if we ever return to Block Island!

We had an amazing experience at the Atlantic Inn. Very cute clean rooms and very nice staff. It is a perfect location to walk down town and even the beach. I highly recommend the Atlantic Inn. I will definitely be back in the future!

In early May, my wife and I stayed 5 nights at the Atlantic Inn, a wonderful, quiet, historic hotel on Block Island. Its location on high ground commands views of the historic harbor and is a short walking distance to the town. The Inn was serviced by a friendly, knowledgeable staff, who remembered our interests and often offered insightful suggestions. Our room was cosy and clean. The complimentary coffee and teas available in the lobby are of excellent quality and are offered throughout the day. We plan to return on future visits.

The property was gorgeous and the inside was newly renovated. Our room was adorable and classic. Our only complaint was the first night our AC was not working and it was very warm but by day 2 it seemed to kick in better. The rooms are small but incredibly charming, perfect for a couple! Serene location on top of the hill

We found the Inn to be clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was accommodating; however, we were not made aware of a private event prohibiting us from the bar area and outside common area one evening. It would have been nice if this was communicated to us at check in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return to the Inn. We would suggest that if a private event is booked, it doesn’t impact guests who are staying there. Perhaps set up a tent where it’s away from the common area.

Very little aid to a first time visitor to block island. No mention of beach towels; had to ask specifically for key and room number when it wasn't offered after we checked in. Music in bar started at 5am on a Tuesday morning and no one was around to turn it off. Could be heard for hours in our room with no one around to open up the bar and turn it off. No accommodation or apology given. No food or coffee around. Better to stay across the street at Spring House Hotel where you could find a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Beautiful space for drinks on the lawn but that doesn't make up for the very, very laid back nature of everyone who works here.

I was incredibly impressed with the amazing hospitality of this Inn. As a first timer to Block Island, I was not sure what to expect with no true “hotels” but the service was unparalleled. From arrival they were SO friendly, and kind and assisted with our bags and then the bar/wait staff was phenomenal. PROS: staff was super sweet; check in and check out easy and accommodating- rose on check in; restaurant for dinner lovely, drinks on porch and lawn lovely; location was close enough to town to walk but far enough to be quiet (the hill HARD on the bike tho haha). CONS: room had tiny bath and window that would not stay open- shower the size of a phone booth & no closet; breakfast was a waste of money- better to walk to town; no designated entry; could have offered bikes for rent; was our 1 year anniversary and even though i mentioned it to the reception staff and dining staff- no one did anything special- not even a note in the room- sort of a let down.

Great view well kept property. Nice place to sit outside have a cocktail and look out over the water. Boasts a high quality restaurant yet did not put out coffee in the morning or have in room coffee service despite the nearest location was fifteen minutes away For avg price of 400 plus per night cannot even put out coffee and a continental breakfast for guests. Please cheap.

Very classy. Beautiful location, beautiful property, beautiful grounds and landscaping. Not too far yet not too close to the harbor. They try really hard at this hotel and it shows; it was great. It was a delightful hotel all around.
