The room was clean and the Hotel was very elegant although it was kind of a faux elegance with Plastic moldings somewhat pretentious wallpaper. Disappointed that the pool was only half filled for whatever reason. The Jacuzzi on the roof terrace was marvelous.

Stayed here for a few days. Only thing I would say is that it’s not as kept as I anticipated. There’s like empty areas in the pool area which I feel could make it feel more luxurious if they were maintained and in service. There is like three bar areas that aren’t even used and the pool was dirty and had bugs in it. I don’t think the filters even cleaned it. As for the food and the room, very good. There was only one spider in my room but that’s all. The food was good and food portions as well. Staff was friendly and explained information well. I just feel this place seems a bit run down and could use some real love and attention and it could be really great.

Excited to book a resort that is centrally located in La paz. When we arrived the front desk was friendly but new. The room had a staircase up to another room with a jacuzzi tub on the balcony and another bathroom. Breakfast was included. The only downside is the resort pool is only filled halfway so it goes maybe to my waist. That happens in July or the summer months. That was why we booked here, was for a big nice pool. So that was a bummer. I would rate it 3.5 stars because of the pool.

The property is damaged, old and not updated. The picturesdo not represent the conditions of the hotel common arras or its rooms. The 2 room alternatives we were given were painted ( wuthin hours of our arrival) abd smelled like paint, with paint drops all over the floor, furtniture, bed covers and sofa.. the hotel advertises a gym but fhe gym has not been open since the pandemic ( according to bell boy) . We are asking for a refund

Great friendly staff. As soon as we pulled up the bellmen were happy to help right away. Check in was easy. It was a nice surprise to see that the 2 bedroom was 2 stories with 2 balconies. Super spacious. The pool was very kid friendly. Easy direct access to the beach (which is rare in La Paz). Breakfast is included and is great. Staff was great. I would definitely stay hear again.

The staff were terrific and the spa massage was nice. The evening events on the beach by locals was nice too. A bridal shower and a couple baby showers. Fun! Would have been nice to have nightly music or something in the stage area.

Hotel viejo, no tiene playa como lo indican en su anuncio, junto al hotel hay un acceso a la playa donde desenboca aguas negras, huele mal, no había toallas en la habitación, ruidos molestos toda la noche de bombas o aires acondicionados, olor a drenaje en la habitación, no proporcionaron factura que se les pidió, el personal excelente, buena disposición.

My stay was wonderful at La Posada Hotel. The room and facilities were very clean. The staff was helpful and kind. It was perfect for the quiet and relaxing vacation I wanted. The sunrise and sunset view from balcony was unbeatable.

Overall, the hotel was in a great location. The cleaning staff did an outstanding job, and everything was always spotless. The bellboys and the restaurant staff were also wonderful, always friendly and attentive. However, there are two areas of opportunity. The first is the WiFi, which could be improved for a better guest experience. The second is the front desk staff. On several occasions, the two young ladies at reception seemed distracted and disengaged. There were multiple times I walked in, greeted them, and received no acknowledgment or only a brief “hello” without any eye contact. It came across as dismissive and unprofessional. A bit more attentiveness and genuine hospitality from the reception team would make a big difference.

La Posada is a little run down and needs a lot of upgrading. Three chairs broke in our room during our five day stay. For the price of $191 per night you would expect a little more care. The pool was never vacuumed and the algae collected on the bottom of the pool. The outer area near the pool has a lot of clutter and the free breakfast was mediocre at best. However the service is excellent. The bar tender Antonio was always funny and pleasant. The front desk agent Jerald was always accommodating and wanted to make sure you were happy. Our room had a second level with a hot tub which was really nice. In the future, I would probably look for another hotel with better care though.

Nice hotel was much better than I thought it would be Was surprised they don’t have electronic locks on the guest room doors nor any secondary lock so made me a little nervous but overall a very nice stay and would stay again Staff at front desk was fantastic and all employees were engaging and nice ! Hskper for our room was fantastic and communicated w us everyday

The hotel has a great ocean view. Sunsets are beautiful. We enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel and the staff were great. Those are the Pros. The Cons: upon Check-In we were given a key and that was it. We had to ask how to use the elevator, as the design of it makes it hard to see the floor numbers. We didn’t find out until a couple of days later there are beach towel cards needed to get a towel. There was another part of the hotel with a pool and gym that we hadn’t explored. We were happy with the room because of the water views. We had a duplex with a hot tub, but there wasn’t any seating in the terrace as seen on the website. The hotel itself needs a facelift, including our room. There were holes and missing plaster. The paint was chipped in many places. The couch and chairs were stained. The curtains needed to be washed. The location of the hotel is not near Malecón. We asked for directions on the first night and the staff pointed us in the direction, but failed to mention it is easily a 30-35 minute walk. We found out the hard way and called an Uber half way through. The Front Desk staff are not very helpful. The person who gave us a tour of the hotel was the restaurant manager, Octavio. He have us dining recommendations and tour ideas. If anyone visits, they need to be proactive and ask for information. We had a good stay, but the hotel needs improvement.

The staff are extremely friendly. Andrea the receptionist was always happy to help with any of my inquiries. The room was spacious and clean. The TV had several channels. Bathroom and shower were very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The view from the balcony was exceptional. The pool was clean and had several chairs/beds. We basically had the pool to ourselves for a handful of days. Downtown is 5 min away via taxi/uber. Only issues I had were: the walls are thin. I could hear chairs moving, showers turning on, people chatting/walking (I’m a light sleeper). The jetted tub in my room did not have hot water. It came out lukewarm at most. Would stay here again. Great prices!

We basically had the pool to ourselves for a handful of days. Downtown is 5 min away via taxi/uber. Only issues I had were: the walls are thin. I could hear chairs moving, showers turning on, people chatting/walking (I’m a light sleeper). The jetted tub in my room did not have hot water. It came out lukewarm at most. Would stay here again. Great prices!

The employees are very accommodating. Rooms are quite unique having a second floor accessed by a circular staircase. Upstairs is another bathroom, lounge area and fillable tub. All rooms overlook the water. Its a unique small resort property and we enjoyed our stay. There is some minor remodeling being done as the property is almost 20 years old. Englebert Humperdink owned the property until 2003/4.

The staff was so kind, flexible & accommodating! We traveled with a 15m old baby and it was so nice. Breakfast options were good, both pools are family friendly. Room service to your room, cleaning ladies were awesome. Would definitely stay again. Around 15 minute drive to the malecon.

Overall, the hotel was in a great location. The cleaning staff did an outstanding job, and everything was always spotless. The bellboys and the restaurant staff were also wonderful, always friendly and attentive. However, there are two areas of opportunity. The first is the WiFi, which could be improved for a better guest experience. The second is the front desk staff. On several occasions, the two young ladies at reception seemed distracted and disengaged. There were multiple times I walked in, greeted them, and received no acknowledgment or only a brief “hello” without any eye contact. It came across as dismissive and unprofessional. A bit more attentiveness and genuine hospitality from the reception team would make a big difference.

We stayed here and had excellent food at the restaurant and above FIVE STAR Service from Lui @ the front desk! We checked out super early to do an excursion only to find I had left my 3 wedding rings in out bathroom. Lui answered our call and put us on hold while she personally went to our room and found my treasures! She assured us they would be safe at the concierge desk and they were! 8 hours later we returned and they were locked away safely and packaged in an envelope. Great service-Amazing Surf n Turf and Fish dinner-lovely beach front pool. We highly recommend!!!

Staff attempted to steal Jimmy Choo sunglasses left on table. When confronted they miraculously showed up under a chair. Luckily we had photos of food next to glasses on the table. Manager tried to cover up for the employee.

Do not stay here unless you bring your own towels. Our room did not even have a washcloth to dry our hands. We eventually got two bath towels which we had to hand over every morning to be washed and returned to us. We had to ask for toilet paper twice The breakfast was good and had a good selection. Dinner was mediocre and expensive. The bar is ok if you want a beer but the mixed drinks were not good. The staff was well aware of the towel situation and we were told there wasn’t anything they could do about it.

Not happy with our stay had to leave hotel. First off shower knob was not working water went all over the place except where it needed to. Could not adjust it was hot. Secondly when we came back it appeared as someone had been in our room. Even the refrigerator had liquid spilled inside it. That was not there when we first arrived. Called front desk no one could come to help or check as he was the only one. But would tell morning shift. Door had not latch to keep closed. Se had to place a a chair in front of door in order to get some sleep. Told Ana we would not be staying and informed her of the issues she said she could not do anything and hotel was already paid. To take it up with Travelocity. She did offer another room but to be sincere we did not feel safe or comfortable staying.

The breakfast that was included was awesome. The restaurant manager is so attentive and nice to everyone. Great service!! He needs a raise. The views are amazing and the jacuzzi suite are great. There was hot water not sure why others say no. I would stay here again.

A public beach between hotel and sea. We stayed 2 nights - first night, had a local party in the beach with super loud music and talking until the sunrise next day. I asked hotel if we could cancel the another night but was rejected. The second night, no music but still noises from talking at the beach until 3am.

The hotel has a great ocean view. Sunsets are beautiful. We enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel and the staff were great. Those are the Pros. The Cons: upon Check-In we were given a key and that was it. We had to ask how to use the elevator, as the design of it makes it hard to see the floor numbers. We didn’t find out until a couple of days later there are beach towel cards needed to get a towel. There was another part of the hotel with a pool and gym that we hadn’t explored. We were happy with the room because of the water views. We had a duplex with a hot tub, but there wasn’t any seating in the terrace as seen on the website. The hotel itself needs a facelift, including our room. There were holes and missing plaster. The paint was chipped in many places. The couch and chairs were stained. The curtains needed to be washed. The location of the hotel is not near Malecón. We asked for directions on the first night and the staff pointed us in the direction, but failed to mention it is easily a 30-35 minute walk. We found out the hard way and called an Uber half way through. The Front Desk staff are not very helpful. The person who gave us a tour of the hotel was the restaurant manager, Octavio. He have us dining recommendations and tour ideas. If anyone visits, they need to be proactive and ask for information. We had a good stay, but the hotel needs improvement.

I liked that the property had direct access to the beach. Some properties directly adjacent to the La Posada were unsightly and in disrepair presenting massive eye-sores. Our room met our needs nicely.

The smell from the sewer overflowing in the street, nothing the hotel could do about. Coffee set up in the room had a $80 peso charge. During the night there was a loud party going on the beach in front of the hotel. Again nothing the hotel had control of.

Nice view of the water and removed from the busy part of the town by about a mile. The room was spacious and we really liked the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. I think there was no better beach in La Paz. The hotel and pool were a bit dated and could use an update. The food was good which was a good thing because there were no nearby restaurants. If you like walking or have a car or don’t mind taking taxis, this would be a good choice.

Stayed here for a few days. Only thing I would say is that it’s not as kept as I anticipated. There’s like empty areas in the pool area which I feel could make it feel more luxurious if they were maintained and in service. There is like three bar areas that aren’t even used and the pool was dirty and had bugs in it. I don’t think the filters even cleaned it. As for the food and the room, very good. There was only one spider in my room but that’s all. The food was good and food portions as well. Staff was friendly and explained information well. I just feel this place seems a bit run down and could use some real love and attention and it could be really great.

La habitación que nos había tocado estaba muy vieja, el aire acondicionado casi no enfriaba, hacía mucho ruido y las puertas de los balcones no cerraban bien, comenzó un viento muy fuerte y literal deteníamos las puertas para que no se volara todo. Tuvimos que pedir cambio de habitación. Poco personal nocturno y la comida mala, en general.

Everything about this place was perfect: the staff was very kind and worked to help us navigate, from helping secure a car rental to bikes and beach towels to whatever else came up. The food at the restaurant was excellent - we ended up having breakfast every day, which is one of the best we've had for a hotel, made-to-order meal with good options and fresh fruit. The service at the restaurant was very attentive and kind and warm. Every corner of the grounds is well maintained by the staff- from the property/plants to the pools and jacuzzi to the gym. You can see the place was put together with many touches down to the tile and the trim, and the use of natural wood in the rooms. It does not feel impersonal or overly-modern, but yet it's not also dated; for example, good TVs, windows, etc. We slept very well and loved the very spacious suites. It's hard to believe we got all we did for the price we paid. We would easily return here and bring friends - this represents the best of La Paz, relaxed, kind and locally-managed, with a lot care put into everything.
