Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Boise - Meridian

This place is new-ish, very clean. Friendly front desk folks. Price was right. However, I felt kind of crapped on as a guest. They only have one ice machine. It was out of order. When I asked the front desk person he (literally) told me I could walk down the street to the gas station if I needed ice (it was approx 25 deg F at the time). I actually might have stopped by the gas station in my way home from dinner if the desk person had told me the ice machine was out of order when he told me where the ice machine was two hours ago. I am not sure why mgt could not buy ice (maybe from the gas station down the street) or offer guests ice cube trays, since rooms have freezers. There is nohing in your room when you check in other than soap and two plastic cups, if you want anything like a mug, glass or coffee maker, you have to request it. The breakfast was really stingy, even for a motel. There was no attendant. I had to ask the front desk guy twice to bring out yogurt, which for some reason, he kept brining out 4 or 6 containers at a time rather than filling the fridge. There is no one actually at the front desk. you have to ring a bell and wait every time you need assistance, which was quite often unfortunately. Super spartan room. No dresser. If you are looking for a cheap long term place to stay, where you are going to be making your own food etc, then this place is probably find. Looking for hospitality, look elsewhere

Very clean. No carpet on floor in room. Heater worked after much trial and error. Has small fitness area that was adequate. No pool. No jacuzzi.

Quick and easy check-in & out. The room was clean and newer could be a newer built hotel not sure. The beds arent too comfy but everything else was fine. Had a full fridge sink and a stove top for cooking as well. Had a 1st floor unit and didnt hear noise from the outside or the hallways. There is a laundry room and a small gym by the entrance. I would stay again if i find a cheap deal.

Easy parking for bigger rigs

The front desk staff was wonderful!! I enjoyed having access to the treadmill, elliptical, cable machine and mat that make up the gym and appreciated the breakfast which included chobani yogurt, packaged hard boiled eggs, muffins, oatmeal and apples. The bed was reasonably comfortable, the room could be bright or dark, the shower had good water pressure and bathroom flattering light. The room was spacious with plenty of room for our mountain bikes.

Very nice property with plenty of food options close by. Laundry room takes credit cards so no need to have quarters

Not much of a fitness room.

Pros:Comfortable beds, easy well lit parking, efficient staff. Cons: Showerheads’ holes are blocked with mineral buildup causing needle-like water sensation when showering. Just awful experience. Shower heads cannot be cleaned at this point, need to be replaced ASAP for “rain flow “ feel.

Staff were excellent. The elevator was broke and we were on the 4 th floor our entire 5 days stay and both of us in our 80's made it pretty difficult. They did offer us a room on the first level but once you unpacked and got situated we decided to not change rooms or move just put up with the inconvience.

Room not clean. Used qtip on floor next to bed. Used dish on top shelf above sink. No shower curtain in bathroom

Brand new hotel - super clean - modern - quiet - a not too far walk to food & shopping. Very kind staff. Will stay again when I’m in the area. Thank you!

Room smelled very bad. As the evening went on realized the room was infested with cockroaches, many many cockroaches. Hotel wouldn't change my room and I was informed I could leave then (12.00 am) and not be charged. No place to go so unfortunately stayed for a very gross and uncomfortable night. Hotel would not give a refund. Expedia couldn't get a refund so I get to leave this review.

This place needs a cleaning. The floors and hallways were dirty. I would t stay here again. The floor had dried food on them and they needed to be swept and mopped.

We got a room and it as soon as we turned on the lights there was cockroaches.

The sheets had pubic hair and a dead tick in them. Room not cleaned. Gross. I want my money back

The elevator and hallways smelt really bad. When I got off the elevator on my floor there was trash on the floor.

Pulled back the sheets to find a huge stain. Front desk was quick to bring a new set of sheets. I had to change them. Not sure what the stain was …….. creeps me out.

The hotel was great! The staff were always friendly and very helpful! I had never stayed at an extended stay hotel before. It was a little different than a regular hotel in my opinion. It didn’t feel as cozy. Which is not a bad thing, I just wasn’t prepared for it! The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The grounds were clean and well cared for. It was quiet.

Check in and out processes were quick. The room is clean and spacious with a kitchen, whick we didn't use. Plenty of parking. The AC unit is not too loud. A lot of restaurants around. Location is less than 30 minutes from the Boise airport.

Service was awesome, room was clean BUT OMG did the bed suck!! By far the bed was the most uncomfortable horrible piece of junk ive ever slept on!! Id rather have slept on the hard floor, my back hurt for days after my stay!!

Overall, the property and room I stayed in were very clean. However, I found two hairs that were not mine (one in the bed under the bedspread and one on the bathroom floor- you can guess what kind). There were only three things that made my stay uncomfortable. 1) I could hear every foot step the people in the room above mine took. At times, it sounded like they were dropping a bowling ball on the floor. Their noise would continue until around midnight. I did complain to the front desk and they did not hesitate to call that room to tell them to keep the noise down. I'm not sure if they actually got ahold of them. 2) The green light on the smoke alarm flashed all night, every night of my stay. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a black out shade when it feels like a strobe light is in your room every 5 or so seconds. 3) The thermostat was having issues. It did not stay at the heat I set it to most of the time. The temperature would drop below the temperature I set it to without any reason. Regular checks should probably be done before guests arrive to ensure everything function properly.

I wasn't a fan of the the shower head. It sprayed the wayer out like needles with made it impossible rinse off.

The wifi didn't work in my room and the staff tried to help but the problem wasn't resolved.

The room above is was loud until 3am and tried to call the front desk yet never got an answer. The breakfast was horrible as they were out of eggs and nearly out of muffins at 730am. The room does have a little kitchen and you could cook your own breakfast but that's not really the point when you're in a hurry to go and was told there is a grab and go in the morning.

We will not be returning. The hard floors made everything too loud. It sounded like the people above us had just checked in, right as we were going to bed. Their roller suitcase was rolling back and forth and we could hear every foot step. I'm assuming the hard floors amplified the noise instead of normal carpet absorbing the noise. It was hard to get to sleep. There wasn't much breakfast options either.

This is our second stay. We love it! We are often in Boise to visit family and the Meridian hotel is so close to our family. Also love thst its near to a gas station and shopping. Zach was so friendly and helpful, had us checked so quick. We will continue to stay at this hotel.

Hard to get help at front desk when checking in and checking out. Had to ring bell, no one came. Employees were there talking in the back amongst themselves.

Everyone at the front desk was incredible. I loved staying here. They were very understanding. They were very helpful.

I had to wait for about 30 mins before someone came up front to help. I almost cancelled and went somewhere else.

Front desk was off putting. They didn’t have dishes to borrow despite being advertised. No spoons at all.

Hotel is bare bones. You must request anything you need and they will provide. Had to ask for soap and shampoo (they apologized for there being none. Arrived after midnight and asked for an extra hour to check out but they flat refused. This was our second stay but service has gone down so it’s our last.

The hotel was very clean and the lady at the front desk was friendly and quick check in. Within walking distance to restaurants, shopping.

Having to run the water for 10 plus minutes to get barely warm water is ridiculous. 1st day i had a freezing cold shower so i adjusted my time i need to get ready but it really bothers me to have to run water that long. Rooms are not stocked with cooking utensils or pots and pans. First time staying at am extended stay and this was the policy. I called down twice to get the wifi password and no one ever answered. Will be looking elsewhere next time i am in town.

Its in a convenient area in relation to the freeway.

It was a good spot close to the benue i needed to go. The room was very clean and comfortable bed.

Easy to get to. Clean and quiet.

Was in room 201. View of the parking lot. It was nice to be near the stairs to have easy access to take my pup outside. Pine St. Is a busy street and loud throughout the day and night. I used the microwave fan to drown out the street noise at bedtime. Staff was friendly and helpful. The grap and go breakfast is a joke. Bananas, apples,(didn't look so fresh or ripe) yogurt, boiled eggs, muffin and granola bar. Coffee is only avaliable during breakfast hours.

Everything was great. Just don't count on the breakfast for breakfast...it's very minimalist. I'm sure that's fine for some folks, but not so much for others.

No utensils in room microwave not working breakfast was lame just coffee ( which was out and need to ask for refill ) and oatmeal packages and granola bars

Beautiful hotel and nice amenities. The bed is nice, pillows were low quality and caused headache The person checking us in, Sept 13th at 3pm was not friendly and I don’t know his name because h was wearing a Tagore with no name badge. Coffee bar was nice, only offered a breakfast bar and oatmeal for the weekend and added muffins & apple for the weekdays (that was nicer).

The hotel was supposed to have a grab and go breakfast from 6-9 am. At 7:00 there was nothing. No coffee. No food. Nothing! When I asked about it they finally went to start some coffee. Still no food whatsoever. I chose the hotel because we could just grab a quick bite and hit the road. Not happy with the service. The room was clean so that was a plus.

Extended stay hotel. Breakfast was almost non-existent. No milk or juice. Everything else was fine. Kitchenette would be great for a long stay.

Got to breakfast 45 min before it closed. 2 yogurts. That was the breakfast. They eventually put out some hard boiled eggs also, but one of the eggs was spoiled. Hot water for oatmeal was broken so that wasn’t even an option. But seriously, 2 yogurts in a cooler and that’s advertised as having breakfast??

This hotel advertises BREAKFAST INCLUDED. The breakfast is NOT breakfast its is coffee and oatmeal. That is it. No juice, no toast. Nothing standard. Dont say breakfast included. When its isnt breakfast. Its a snack!

The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet; however, the "continental breakfast" left much to be desired. I was expecting to see pastries, cold cereal, a waffle maker, etc. Instead, they offered leftovers from the COVID- era "breakfast to-go" bags (granola bars, pre-packaged muffins, oranges) and coffee - no fruit juice. Needless to say I was very disappointed.
