Historic building right in the middle of the pedestrian area. Excellent room with a view of the castle. Super helpful and friendly staff. Outstanding breakfast. If you are coming with a car study the provided directions so you can drive straight to the parking garage (€42 overnight) and do the .6 km walk.

Excellent property. Staff great. Ultraconvenient to everything we wanted access to (Tivoli, Zoo, bus station/train station, major points of interest/shopping, and restaurants; we walked everywhere. Zoo would be an easy short bus. We had a car the first night and parked it in a safe underground parking garage at a nearby LIDL without issue and only a 5-10 minute walk away. There is no parking right next to the hotel.

A reggeli nagyon bőséges, minden ígényt kielégítő.

This is a great historic hotel that has been renovated to an upscale boutique hotel. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with the local blueberry liquor and a homemade cookie which was a really nice touch. The room was spacious, quiet and so comfortable. Noise was nonexistent and automatic black out shades were greatly appreciated. The breakfast was buffet style with something for everyone. This historic home comes to life with placards and artifacts from its earlier days. This hotel is highly recommended and we would love to return here one day! Offsite parking is available with about a 3 block walk to the hotel. They will provide assistance with luggage if required.

Excellent hotel in the city centre. Very new and clean. Great value. Rooms are small but ok for solo travellers or couples without children. Would definitely want to stay here again. The only challenge is parking which is about a 4mim walk from the hotel and adds about $30 Eur to your daily cost.

This is a great hotel in a great location. The only draw back is there are no cars allowed by the river so you have to walk about 3/4 of a block from your taxi drop off or pick up point, but great place, I would stay there again.

The Heritage was a great find. The property is in a great location and had a ton of character. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding as well. The only drawback was having to park at a public garage and walk to the hotel.

Lovely place to stay but although 400 years old it’s like any other new hotel… This was the only thing that was disappointing as the staff and breakfast was lovely. It is also in the pedestrian zone so if you have lots of luggage it can be a tough walk.

Excellent location! We loved being in the pedestrian area surrounded by lots of great restaurants and shops. Although, the hotel does not have parking b/c of their location, there is public parking w/in a couple minutes walk. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to assist us! I highly recommend Hotel Heritage!

Jeg bodde på Heritage Hotel i Ljubljana i 7 dager, og jeg har bare positive ting å si. Dette er et lite og sjarmerende hotell som ligger midt i hjertet av sentrum. Jeg har bodd på mange hoteller tidligere, men servicen her var på et helt annet nivå, spesielt når det gjelder renhold. Man føler seg rett og slett hjemme. Hotellet har en lang historie og har bevart sitt gammeldagse preg på en nydelig måte. Det føles som en harmonisk blanding av klassisk sjarm og moderne komfort. Oppholdet vårt var fantastisk. Det var lett å bli kjent med personalet; alle var blide, imøtekommende og oppriktig hjelpsomme. Renholderne gjør en utrolig god jobb og fortjener virkelig ros. Sterkt anbefalt.

Ganske udemærket hotel, det lå super centralt i den gamle by, hvilket dog betød at det var umuligt at køre til hotellet og læsse sin bagage. Værelset var fint og nyistandsat. Rengøringen var under niveau, jeg fandt eksempelvis emballagen fra et kondom på gulvet.

Very clean and nice hotel. Staff was very nice. Comfortable and close to everything. I would say the advertisement of the “24hr shuttle service” is false advertising though because they just call you an overpriced flat rate taxi. I was able to secure my own taxi for much less. If I had of known ahead of time that it was just a taxi I would have arranged a shuttle for even cheaper. Typically if you advertise for a 24-hr shuttle service it is an actual shuttle service not a taxi that is more expensive than if you booked on your own.

The room was so incredibly clean! And the staff were just wonderful. Everyone was so kind. The breakfast was exactly what I wanted - fresh fruit, eggs, toast. Such a well stocked buffet! And the cappuccinos were delicious. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Ljubljana. We will certainly be back!

My only issue with this hotel was that the AC was hotel limited to a minimum of 21°C temperature and it was 33°C outside in Ljubljana. The AC was not able to keep up and I'm sure my room never got below 27°C which made it difficult to sleep comfortably at night. Other than that, the rooms were nice and clean and the staff was helpful...

Overall this is an excellent hotel but we do have three criticisms. We were a party of seven in four rooms. One room for was one week, the other three rooms were for 4 nights. In the biggest room on the top floor the air conditioning was insufficient to cool the room. In the room we booked for one week we complained that there was nowhere to place one of our two suitcases and not enough cupboard space to unpack them both. We asked for a stand for the suitcase which the hotel could not / would not provide, which we thought was poor service. Also we suggested to the manager that the towels for the bath / showers were too thin and too small and also, there was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. We had to keep our washing equipment (razor, deodorant etc) on the windowsill in the bedroom. Also, the heated towel rail never came on so it was impossible to “recycle” the towels because they were always damp. If the management improved these details at Hotel Heritage it would be 10/10 but as it is we give it 8/10 overall

Service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and quality of the hotel was excellent. My only complaint is that the rooms are not at all soundproof — there was a crying, loud child in the room next door and I could hear absolutely every noise the child made until 3-4 am.

Very cute and unique boutique hotel. High end fixtures and comfortable beds. Extremely clean and professional. Quiet area but directly in the centre of the old town where you want to walk and shop. Tons of food options all around.

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location to enjoy old town Ljubljana. My room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely view. The reception staff was professional and very helpful. My only criticism is the lack of temperature control in the rooms. My room was just slightly warmer than I would have liked, but there was an oscillating fan to make things a bit cooler. The breakfast was also quite good. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again.

Superbly modernised boutique hotel in a historic building in the old town of Ljubljana. Location is perfect for all bars, restaurants and places of interest. Staff are very warm and friendly, speak great English and are efficient and helpful. All areas are spotless. Breakfast buffet has a wide range of fresh and good quality food - pastries, cakes, breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, cold meat and cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, salad, teas, coffees and juices. Beds are comfortable and so is the temperature inside the building (many places in Slovenia were uncomfortably hot). Room contains a free safe. Shower is large and powerful. Mini bar fridge is the usual. The only minor issue is that there is limited hanging space for clothes. Highly recommended.

Hôtel absolument central, parfait pour un séjour en ville, personnel accueillant et chaleureux, de bonne aide pour le parking notamment ! Seul bémol, chambre (5) un peu petite et sombre car donnant sur la cour intérieure. Pour autant, c’est très calme et agréable !!

The hotel heritage is in a building. That’s 400 years old. The staff was so incredible and helpful.Ana especially because she help me make arrangements to leave on the day of the marathon, and my driver through my daytrip.com could not pick me up, so she arranged for a taxi to take me from Ljubljana to Zagreb. She communicated with the driver. She explain to him the difficulty because everything is walled off. What hotel is across from the shoemakers bridge or also called the Cobblers Bridge only a five minute walk to the city center along the river Ljubljananica. The hotel had an incredible breakfast buffet and across the corner was a restaurant that they recommend and it was incredible and so convenient . The day I left a huge marathon was going on. Most of the city was walled off. My driver could not get to the hotel, and she arrange for a taxi to take me from the hotel to Zagreb for the same price and you have to be a taxi driver and you can only pick up people from 6 AM to 10 AM in the morning. The driver was there 20 minutes early and Thomas was a very interesting man to talk to all the way to Zagreb. I love the Hotel, the staff and the location.!!! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone

The staff at the Heritage were so amazingly friendly and made everything effortless, from the herbal tea when we arrived (super early), to storing our luggage and taking it to our room, the whole team were fabulous. The hotel was super clean and smelled amazing, and our room was so nice. The location is excellent, so close to the river and all the restaurants around. I would absolutely recommend the Heritage, and will definitely stay again when in Ljubljana.

Not impressed! I arrived at 11 am (check in is at 2pm) and had to pay 100E to get my room early. Happy to pay something but 100E seemed alot considering room rate for 24 hrs is around that price. Asked for late check out (2 hrs) totally inflexible. I had to wait in lobby for my ride as I was not prepared to pay another 100E for 2 hours in the room. Location cannot be accessed by car, so be prepared to walk with your luggage. Hotel rooms is small (older appearance). There are much better hotels in Ljubljana. Staff cold, business like and average. Will not be coming back here.

Excellent location! We loved being in the pedestrian area surrounded by lots of great restaurants and shops. Although, the hotel does not have parking b/c of their location, there is public parking w/in a couple minutes walk. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to assist us! I highly recommend Hotel Heritage!

Hotel Heritage is one of the best European hotels without a doubt!! Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! We loved everything!!. Superbly modernised boutique hotel in a historic building in the old town of Ljubljana. Location is perfect for all bars, restaurants and places of interest. Staff are very warm and friendly, speak great English and are efficient and helpful. All areas are spotless. Breakfast buffet has a wide range of fresh and good quality food - pastries, cakes, breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, cold meat and cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, salad, teas, coffees and juices. Beds are comfortable and so is the temperature inside the building (many places in Slovenia were uncomfortably hot). Room contains a free safe. Shower is large and powerful. Mini bar fridge is the usual. The only minor issue is that there is limited hanging space for clothes. Highly recommended.

From the hotel it is very walkable to all the main attractions (Dragon Bridge, Three Bridges, Market, etc.). Many dining options near the hotel. They offer a great selection at the breakfast including homemade items like fresh baked bread and fruit crumble. Would definitely stay here again while in Ljubljana.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect - located almost directly on the canal, minutes walk from the castle and the bridges. We were so impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast was great, even though options for vegans were limited. One of the staff did offer us additional avocado or asked if there was anything else we’d like. I just thought that was really thoughtful. The coffee was beautiful. Our room was perfect for us- the bathroom lovely and the bed really comfy. We honestly could not have asked for a better hotel and am so glad we chose to stay here.

We stayed in early Nov 2024 and had the most wonderful time. The hotel was in great condition, incredibly spacious rooms, restaurant was clean, staff were so kind and the location was close to everything. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Only blocks away from all the restaurants, river, castle and shops. It’s on a walking street so if you have a car, parking garage was only 300 m away so it’s convenient. Since the hotel is in a vehicle free zone, my transportation dropped me off about a 5 minute walk away. One of the front desk staff actually walked to meet me to help.
