Las cabañas son muy comodas y amplias; El area del muelle es perfecto para descansar, nos prestaron kayacs para poder ver el amanecer, el servicio del perdonal exelente y la comida del restaurante muy rica. Recomiendo el lugar para pasar unos dias de descanso ya que se encuentra alejado del centro y de la mayoria de las actividades de bacalar, es preferible rentar un carro para llegar al hotel. A excepción de la lejania el lugar nos parecio hermoso y perfecto para desconectarse.
Las cabañas son muy comodas y amplias; El area del muelle es perfecto para descansar, nos prestaron kayacs para poder ver el amanecer, el servicio del perdonal exelente y la comida del restaurante muy rica. Recomiendo el lugar para pasar unos dias de descanso ya que se encuentra alejado del centro y de la mayoria de las actividades de bacalar, es preferible rentar un carro para llegar al hotel. A excepción de la lejania el lugar nos parecio hermoso y perfecto para desconectarse.

This place is a gem in paradise. With direct access to the lake and 10 min away from town, the location is quiet, relaxing and immersed in nature. Beautiful views all around. Rooms are spacious and have large terraces with hammocks. The only thing I’d strongly suggest is improving the quality of their bedsheets. The thread count had to be the lowest possible, feeling rough and scratchy against the skin. Not a great way to rest at night.

El hotel tiene un acceso difícil ya que la carretera está en malas condiciones. Hay muchas escaleras y el servicio de recepción no es bueno. Fuera de eso, los cuartos son amplios, los baños también. La alberca y deck tienen un lugar privilegiado. Las vistas son increíbles. El restaurante no es bueno pero el desayuno y el servicio del restaurante son de primera.

The ease with which to kayak was wonderful for us. The beauty of the porch view also is a compelling reason to visit. I would caution those traveling to rent a truck or 4-wheel vehicle. The roads are dirt and rock, they are unpredictable given the rainfall. Two days of our 7 night stay the hot water was broken so we had cold showers. The restaurant on site was often out of things like: bacon, avocados, mangos, bread, and fruit for smoothies. Our first night was the best. We had a quiet dinner on the water with fish tacos and excellent pineapple waters. Research the ways in and out of the facility. If you get the breakfast that is included, it is a limited menu. Also, we didn't know about the plumbing, but you travel to learn!! Life in the jungle is unpredictable. Also, the massages offered in the website are not someone regular at an on-site spa, something I had assumed given the website. The concierge would need to call a local person to come to the hotel. One night the neighbor to the hotel played his music too loud, but the manager was called to come deal with it. Overall, I might not return, but I have excellent memories and wonderful photos from Bacalar, which is a 15 minute drive away. We left each day to go into town for new restaurants.

Let me start off by saying that the staff is INCREDIBLE. I dealt closely with Victor who’s a waiter at the restaurant and Eduardo from the front desk. These gentlemen are superb. Both are so friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help. The property itself is stunning! We had two rooms and the closer to the water the villa, the more stunning the view but we got a view to the lagoon from both rooms. Traveled to Bacalar after attending a wedding in Cancun. I traveled with my husband, son and 81yo mother. The property has a lot of stairs so that was tough on my mom and the road in to the property is very bumpy. If you’re renting a car I’d suggest a compact SUV at minimum. I personally love smaller boutique hotels over larger resorts but with that comes less amenities which I was totally fine with but keep that in mind. This boutique hotel is still very high end. The quality of the food. The comfort. Their toiletries they provide are eco friendly.

Love the Tranquility, view, cleanliness, pier, acces to lake. Did not like: lack of info about too many stairs, lack of help to carry laugage, no tv in rooms, broken kayaks. We stayed 2 nights and did not have acces to pier one afternoon. Staff mentioned that they have ordered all the stuff that we felt were missing.

When we first arrived, the staff didn’t greet us at all and rather just read us a large list of rules to follow during our stay which they constantly broke on their own. Our calls and messages were never answered. Some staff was also selling alcohol to a loud, already very drunk man at around midnight though one of the rules stated that we could not make noise after 10pm. The towels provided in our room were dirty. They would take our towels for cleaning and never return them either. I would definitely advise that you do not stay here.

The room I reserved was very spacious and roomy. Are room was cleaned every day by the maids. It was left spotless for us plus enough towels and beach towels we had for every day use. The staff were amazing. They were very nice and attentive to all of us. We were a total of 5 guest. But the view of this boutique was breath taking.

Horrible, Horrible! Customer service is awful. They don’t really care you’re standing in front of them. Absolutely rude and disrespectful. Very dirty and dated. The bed was hard as rock! We were unable to sleep and woke up with major shoulder and lower back pain. Couldn’t wait till morning to leave that place! The outdoor area was so small and crowded. The restaurant is a complete joke and totally uninviting. I’m glad we stayed Cristalino our other days in Bacalar, that was an amazing experience for less money.

Nos tocó la primer habitación con vista al jardín y parcialmente a la laguna. Yo llevaba un equipo portátil para trabajar, pero no tenía ninguna mesita o escritorio adecuado para trabajar cómodamente con mi PC. Quizá pudieran contemplar colocar un escritorio o mesita de trabajo para los huéspedes. También, por el costo que paga uno por noche (yo pagué por 2 noches $9,140), sí deberían contemplar servicio de restaurant a la habitación. Los costos realmente se me hicieron muy exagerados. En otros destinos que nos hemos hospedado, como por ejemplo en Holbox y Tulum, por poco menos de lo que pagamos en nuestro hospedaje, nos incluían un excelente desayuno, TV con cable, y aquí no. Creo que para lo que pagamos, esperaba un poco más.

Horrible, Horrible! Customer service is awful. They don’t really care you’re standing in front of them. Absolutely rude and disrespectful. Very dirty and dated. The bed was hard as rock! We were unable to sleep and woke up with major shoulder and lower back pain. Couldn’t wait till morning to leave that place! The outdoor area was so small and crowded. The restaurant is a complete joke and totally uninviting. I’m glad we stayed Cristalino our other days in Bacalar, that was an amazing experience for less money.

Do not book this hotel unless you know for a fact there will be no flight delays, cancelation or any unforeseen changes to your trip. I understand most of hotels who appreciate business try to accommodate any changes due to flight cancellations and related issues, despite cancelation policies stated in your contract. This hotel will not even answer my phone calls. My flight was canceled due to a storm and of course I never made to the hotel, which I am also glad since I then learned this hotel is in the middle of nowhere with unpaved streets and far from everything. I’m actually glad I never made it. I never give bad feedback but I was also never had such bad customer service. They cannot even answer my calls. No accommodation has been made for the amount paid. They just took my money.

Para entrar no hay letreros de señalización (solo uno muy pequeño) El camino de terracería horrible, no hay iluminación. No tiene fachada de hotel, se confunde. El lugar está más pequeño de lo que se ve en fotos

When we first arrived, the staff didn’t greet us at all and rather just read us a large list of rules to follow during our stay which they constantly broke on their own. Our calls and messages were never answered. Some staff was also selling alcohol to a loud, already very drunk man at around midnight though one of the rules stated that we could not make noise after 10pm. The towels provided in our room were dirty. They would take our towels for cleaning and never return them either. I would definitely advise that you do not stay here.

Las cabañas son muy comodas y amplias; El area del muelle es perfecto para descansar, nos prestaron kayacs para poder ver el amanecer, el servicio del perdonal exelente y la comida del restaurante muy rica. Recomiendo el lugar para pasar unos dias de descanso ya que se encuentra alejado del centro y de la mayoria de las actividades de bacalar, es preferible rentar un carro para llegar al hotel. A excepción de la lejania el lugar nos parecio hermoso y perfecto para desconectarse.

This place is a gem in paradise. With direct access to the lake and 10 min away from town, the location is quiet, relaxing and immersed in nature. Beautiful views all around. Rooms are spacious and have large terraces with hammocks. The only thing I’d strongly suggest is improving the quality of their bedsheets. The thread count had to be the lowest possible, feeling rough and scratchy against the skin. Not a great way to rest at night.

El hotel tiene un acceso difícil ya que la carretera está en malas condiciones. Hay muchas escaleras y el servicio de recepción no es bueno. Fuera de eso, los cuartos son amplios, los baños también. The ease with which to kayak was wonderful for us. The beauty of the porch view also is a compelling reason to visit. I would caution those traveling to rent a truck or 4-wheel vehicle. The roads are dirt and rock, they are unpredictable given the rainfall. Two days of our 7 night stay the hot water was broken so we had cold showers. The restaurant on site was often out of things like: bacon, avocados, mangos, bread, and fruit for smoothies. Our first night was the best. We had a quiet dinner on the water with fish tacos and excellent pineapple waters. Research the ways in and out of the facility. If you get the breakfast that is included, it is a limited menu. Also, we didn't know about the plumbing, but you travel to learn!! Life in the jungle is unpredictable. Also, the massages offered in the website are not someone regular at an on-site spa, something I had assumed given the website. The concierge would need to call a local person to come to the hotel. One night the neighbor to the hotel played his music too loud, but the manager was called to come deal with it. Overall, I might not return, but I have excellent memories and wonderful photos from Bacalar, which is a 15 minute drive away. We left each day to go into town for new restaurants.

¡Un lugar único, hermoso e incomparable! Súper recomendable para ir a descansar y pasar tiempo en pareja. Hace falta eliminar la lana en las escaleras que van a la Laguna y los precios para consumir alimentos y bebidas son algo altos en relación costo- beneficio y la distancia a algún lugar cercano.

Very nice and quiet hotel. If you want peace, this is the place with no TV but excelent WiFi Breakfast is included and it is more than complete and delicious. Very good experience for me and my family. All personnel is very kind and in the restaurant the service is awesome.
