Hotel was centrally located to several restaurants and interests. Walking distance to most things including the convention center. Check-in was on the 24th floor which was kinda inconvenient. Valet parking in the garage was a mess. Cars blocking the street trying to get in. Overnight fee was $60. Highway robbery if you are a guest.

We enjoyed our stay. Check-in team member clearly did not want to be there - no smiles, grumpy, was not familiar with rooms or their views. City view room we reserved overlooked mainly highways and industrial. Room and bathroom were spacious. Bed was very comfortable with high quality sheets. Refinery Bar was fun with terrific, friendly bar tenders. Valet staff were exceptional. Brunch at Il Modo was delicious with outstanding service. No pool. Super convenient location with easy walk to fun at Sundance Square and many restaurants.

Really great location. Very nice historic hotel that has beautifully restored. Very unique that the lobby and bar is on the top (24th) floor instead of the first.

Hotel was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Only complaint was with valet. You can only park valet which is $65 a night, outrageous! Then when I got my car, they had laid the seat way back and changed the radio station to blare some hip hop station.

Great bar area upstairs as well as wonderful restaurant / bar downstairs (Il Modo). We look forward to returning soon.

Second time I have stayed here. It’s fabulous but there was a fingernail on the floor in the bathroom that was definitely not mine and a brown curly hair under the pillow. - again definitely not mine. I don’t like that I can’t adjust the thermostat - I had to call the front desk twice to remotely turn it up. Also I couldn’t get the TV to come on. The light would come on but just a black screen… Otherwise beds are super comfy and the shower had great water pressure and temperature. I appreciate the beer and water complementary at check in, the hour of free wine, and the coffee available in the morning at the restaurant.

To be quite honest I usually just get average hotels when we travel. This is the first time I've really invested a-lot of money for a hotel for my husband and I. I don’t really know what I was expecting but this was not it. The valets at the front were the best part of the entire experience. They were so sweet and helpful with our stuff and how to check in. We got there right at check in. Was informed we would have to wait for our room. Kinda weird but okay. I didn’t realize they make you go to the top floor where people can “socialize” with a bar and such. Was really just anxious and out of my element with this. I did not realize I would have to wait over a hour to get my room. We finally got to our room and it was very basic with overpriced items left out that you could purchase. The view was the only apart of the room that was worth paying $350 for the night. I dropped my earring while getting ready for our event and the floors were not vacuumed well as I found a toenail and other things near the night stand. Which just grossed me out. The room also never got warm. Just all over and very very disappointing experience for me. I will not be staying in downtown Fort Worth again.

There was hair on the toilet tank as well as a hand towel. While the bed was immaculate, the hair in the bathroom and the carpet needing cleaning took away from the experience of a beauty of an exceptional hotel.

Our stay was one night with our dog. The hotel was lovely but they definitely don’t take as much care with the dog rooms. The carpet just did not feel clean. Otherwise, our stay was very nice.

I originally booked 4 nights at The Harper but ended up extending my stay to 5. and it was a mix of highs and lows. The room was cozy with nice bedding and blackout curtains, but a huge red stain on the floor and stained $120 robes made it feel neglected. Check-in was easy and staff were polite, but follow-ups were often required, and housekeeping didn’t change towels or bedding unless we asked repeatedly. In-room dining was fast and well-prepared, though trays were sometimes left outside for hours. Dining in at Il Modo was excellent—consistent, flavorful, and a highlight of the stay. Amenities like the “champagne button” added genuine luxury, and bathroom products were high-quality. We just completed our stay and left not really a lot to be desired. The valet situation out front is atrocious. You literally have to wait almost 20-30 min for your car. The valet lane is terrible. Our hotel floor smelled of sewage while we there. Staff was nice and helpful. Overall, it was an average experience. Not the worst but also not the best.

This Kimpton hotel is in a historic building located across the street from The Capital Grille and Del Friscos, and within walking distance of Sundance Square and Bass Performance Hall. We slept like a champ, it was quiet, safe, super clean, and every employee, from the valet to the front desk to room service, was friendly, prompt, and courteous.

Beautiful hotel and the rooms had very little light allowed in when blinds are closed which is important to me. The shower was lukewarm and the TV went out but staff was very responsive and issues were resolved quickly. The restaurant downstairs was excellent and in a great part of town. Only issue is the noise as cars and big trucks rev their engines, spin tires, and blast huge music systems till 2am. I was there for a martial arts tournament so losing sleep was tough. Still that’s not their fault but a town issue.

I booked this just to get the bathtub pictured in all the rooms and did not get a bathtub. My room was 78 degrees when I checked in. The upstairs check in by the loud bar was not my favorite and the system froze up on checkin. The room was pretty small. Definitely not my favorite historic hotel in Fort Worth.

It's...fine. The hotel has a great vintage feel and decor. The room was well-decorated and tasteful. It was disappointingly small, though. I'm also annoyed that I paid an up-charge for a "City View" room and got neither a view or a decently sized room. The shower door is a sieve and it's difficult to avoid water leaking everywhere in the bathroom when taking a shower.

It was a great hotel! There were a couple things I didn’t like though. Like honestly there was so much we loved that I wish they’d fix these small things or make them right for us so we felt better to rebook. In a premium room we had a broken window and broken phone. I’d also paid for a city view room and was placed in a room with just a view of another building, I wouldn’t have paid extra for the room with no measurable view of the city. Our room was missing the do not disturb sign which led to housekeeping walking in on us twice. There was also supposed to be an umbrella in our room but there wasn’t but we were able to borrow from the valet. Lots of cool things, but for all of the upcharges and premium fees, I wish our experience had been perfectly smooth like it had the potential to be. I’m most upset about the interruptions to our privacy with no do not disturb sign in our room. We never asked for a new sign because in a two night period and us exploring the city, we thought the odds of it happening again were low, but it did happen unfortunately. I feel like at this price point, nothing should be wrong with the room at all.

Our stay at the Kimpton Harper Hotel was incredible! The room and the amenities were exceptional; however, it was the service and hospitality that will have us coming back every time we visit Ft. Worth! Every employee went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. We received daily texts with updates regarding events, such as "happy hour" with complimentary wine and hors d\'oeuvres or asking if there was anything we needed to make our stay better. Hands down, this was the best experience we\'ve ever had at a hotel! We will definitely be back!!

The hotel itself is very nice and clean. Great modern amenities. Valet is essentially required because of the location downtown. $45 per day will be charged to your account from the hotel for valet services, even if you have to retrieve your vehicle yourself from the garage because valet services are taking 30 minutes. Upon check out, I have 3 separate charges on my bank account from the hotel. One for $22, $162, and $280. When I called the hotel to inquire about the charges (we did not order room service, order drinks at the bar, etc.) the hotel staff was rude, and completely dismissed my concerns. Immediately, I was told the charges would be cleared on their end and returned to my bank account within 5-7 business days. What are the charges for? Why was my card charged in the first place? This is a horrible business practice. Especially if no one can explain what these “mystery” charges are for, nor apologetic in the least for the trouble of being out over $400 at their mistake. Such a bummer because this hotel was very nice.

Originally there was mix up on the room we requested through a 3rd party booking company. Being Valentine's Day weekend the hotel was full. The manager, Cole, rectified the situation after the first night and did everything he could to make up for the problem. We like our suite and have enjoyed our stay so far.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It’s right in downtown so it’s super convenient to the various sights around. The room was clean and comfortable and service is really good. We did have a snafu with the valet service when we were leaving though. They had been so great up to that point but we waited at least 45 minutes for our car which we knew was weird. We checked a few times about it and were told we were in line but the last time we checked they realized our car keys were still there. They were apologetic and got it taken care of right away. I did ask the valet if we could have a refund and he said he would see what he can do. I called the hotel later on just to check on that and explain the situation and was refunded the valet portion. Due to the way they handled the situation which is pretty rare, I would return to the hotel and am thankful they took care of things right away.

Modern, clean, beautiful view on the Reception area, and the bar.Manager's reception between 5-6 is a nice gesture!! Staff members are very helpful, professional!! The restaurant is excellent. Number one choice when in Fort Worth.

Restaurant on first floor did not live up to expectation. Servers made mistakes on orders and did not check back after serving meal despite restaurant being rather quiet. Table attached to ours dirty from previous breakfast diners on 10/ 06. When I mentioned it, was not cleaned.
