We stayed there while traveling through. Town around the area was cute. Walked to close by downtown area for dinner and took kids to park after. No front desk person working. You call and they check you in with a door code. They answered right away. Was fine that way, just different. Not sure if anyone is ever there or you always just call. Breakfast was ok. Room was clean and great condition.

We were u surr of yhe olace as it looked like a gray box. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There isnt anyone on- site. Everything is done electronically. There is a common area for continental breakfast. My biggest problem was the main doors into the facility arent locked. My wife and i didnt feel safe sleeping without expected security. The town is quaint, but decaying with shuttered businesses. Meal options are poor. Sheetz, small pizza joints and a crappy restaurant called the Valley Tavern. We stayed in the area for hiking. We will bypass Ridgway and Elker for our next hiking trip.

Room was terrific! Very clean and spacious. There was no working air conditioning in the 2nd floor hallway, but luckily there were in-room units. There is no elevator in the hotel so be prepared to lug your luggage if you get a room on the 2nd floor.

The main lobby was right next to my room(107) and there where people talking from 6am till I left at 9 Saturday morning. Also no blackout curtains was very annoying to me. I like to sleep in the pitch dark. The parking lot lights shined right through the cheap curtains.

We stayed in a king suite on the second floor. The bed and pillows were comfy. We found it very difficult to maneuver our luggage up the stairs, especially since there was only a railing on one side. The bathroom lacked towel racks and we could have really used a luggage rack to hold our large suitcase. The studio room had a desk and chair, a sofa, comfy chair, a dresser, Roku TV, and kitchenette with microwave, sink and fridge. Breakfast was continental and had coffee, juices, bagels, prepackaged muffins, etc. and cereal. We were slowly hauling our luggage downstairs to pack our car and were electronically locked out of room 15 minutes before checkout time while half of our stuff was still in the room. The owner never was on site and didn't answer their phone but thankfully the cleaning lady showed up to rescue us.

The room itself was fantastic. Unfortunately there was no elevator but I didn’t see any mention of that before booking. As a solo female traveler, I would’ve preferred if the building was locked for guests only overnight. The stairs and hallway upstairs were a little bit nerve wracking to walk through.

When booking a hotel I read the reviews for one thing….cleanliness. This inn is nothing fancy. It is clean. The beds are comfy. As are the pillows. Breakfast is simple. Bagels and cereal. Coffee and juice. There really are no humans to check you in. A simple text before arrival with the code to your room. TV only allows one to sign into your own streaming accounts. This little hotel was a pleasant surprise. It’s clean and the bathroom was updated. It had a great little refrigerator and freezer compartment in the room. There is no desk attendant at this location though. They send you a code to get into your room and you can check in whenever you want. If you are looking for a desk with service, this might not be the place for you. We arrived very late so we were happy with the set up. All in all, this was a great place to rest for the night at a very reasonable price.

Loved this place and would definitely stay here again. It’s immaculate and well laid out. I would have given all the stars except there was no room-darkening blinds/curtains. Fortunately, I had my sleep mask with me so the dawn’s early light didn’t affect me.

Everything is new, modern, and clean, BUT - Walls are thin so you hear EVERYTHING from the other guests. Every door slams, so if one guest is up, everyone is up.- No curtains on the windows so it is bright AF and privacy can be compromised.

Got in around 9:30pm, received a text with room password, keys inside. Beds were comfy but TV didnt work as it kept cycling over a siging you out menu...too frustrating after 10 mins of trying...all food joints were closed...but Sheetz is 1 min walk and made to order works for us, plus beer avail.

No staff. They forgot to email me my door access code. Nobody answered the listed phone number for help. Was thinking I might have to find another place to stay when someone did show up with access code. Room very noisy from other rooms and kids running around.

It is in small town Ridgway and was very pleasant to stay in. Check in is done by text code...no actual person on site to check you in or check out...very easy process Rooms extremely clean...beds very comfortable.

We stayed there while traveling through. Town around the area was cute. Walked to close by downtown area for dinner and took kids to park after. No front desk person working. You call and they check you in with a door code. They answered right away. Was fine that way, just different. Not sure if anyone is ever there or you always just call. Breakfast was ok. Room was clean and great condition.

Loved Elker Inn!! Room was great:clean, modern, bathroom/shower was luxurious. Morning breakfast was do-it-yourself in the lobby but very good. Location to downtown restaurants and shops is excellent. Highly recommend!!!!

Got in around 9:30pm, received a text with room password, keys inside. Beds were comfy but TV didnt work as it kept cycling over a siging you out menu...too frustrating after 10 mins of trying...all food joints were closed...but Sheetz is 1 min walk and made to order works for us, plus beer avail.

Heater was very noisy. ( loud) when running. Shower was great. Beds not comfortable. Breakfast a joke. Bagels out the first morning, not the next day. Cereal and danish available. Danish were cheap and nasty tasting. Toaster out cream cheese peanut butter but nothing to go with it. For the cost it should be better !!!!

This is a nice place to stay. Not very big but clean. I wish they had a staff member on premises. Breakfast options are limited but everyone should be able to find something. This was my second stay there and I will go back in the future.

We were u surr of yhe olace as it looked like a gray box. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There isnt anyone on- site. Everything is done electronically. There is a common area for continental breakfast. My biggest problem was the main doors into the facility arent locked. My wife and i didnt feel safe sleeping without expected security. The town is quaint, but decaying with shuttered businesses. Meal options are poor. Sheetz, small pizza joints and a crappy restaurant called the Valley Tavern. We stayed in the area for hiking. We will bypass Ridgway and Elker for our next hiking trip.

We stayed in a king suite on the second floor. The bed and pillows were comfy. We found it very difficult to maneuver our luggage up the stairs, especially since there was only a railing on one side. The bathroom lacked towel racks and we could have really used a luggage rack to hold our large suitcase. The studio room had a desk and chair, a sofa, comfy chair, a dresser, Roku TV, and kitchenette with microwave, sink and fridge. Breakfast was continental and had coffee, juices, bagels, prepackaged muffins, etc. and cereal. We were slowly hauling our luggage downstairs to pack our car and were electronically locked out of room 15 minutes before checkout time while half of our stuff was still in the room. The owner never was on site and didn't answer their phone but thankfully the cleaning lady showed up to rescue us.

When booking a hotel I read the reviews for one thing….cleanliness. This inn is nothing fancy. It is clean. The beds are comfy. As are the pillows. Breakfast is simple. Bagels and cereal. Coffee and juice. There really are no humans to check you in. A simple text before arrival with the code to your room. TV only allows one to sign into your own streaming accounts. Bathroom was immaculate Loved the modern mirror! Some rooms are literally in the lobby area. I’m sure that could get loud at times. However. I travel with a box fan to drown out any noise while sleeping. My only complaint is the check out time. 10 am is quite early.
