Konocti Harbor Resort

The resort is very large and is being slowly renovated. The outdoor stairs to the room were creaky and the banister had splinters. Horrible curb appeal. The room itself was fine . The bathroom was very basic and shower was old and very very small. The pool is oriiginal and lovely. I had very fond memories of this hotel from 40 years ago. Hotel was very overpriced.

They need a lot of work done. It feels like you’re staying in an abandoned resort. Spa is not open. They are severely short staffed. I would love to see them target young families instead of retirees. The mini golf would have been nice to be open for the kids. I hope they can renovate more and work on the kinks.

Convent.. easy launch. pool, bar and restaurant. Rooms are comfortable!

The property had a terrific lake view and was clean. The resort charged $40 for "resort" and "property" fees (???). The front desk could not tell us what these fees covered. The only thing open was a pool and a small store. All three on site advertised restaurants and bars were closed. The marina and kayak rental was closed. We couldn't use anything we were interested in, but still had to pay the fees. The WiFi was terrible and they only had Roku TV. Then to top it all off, the power went out in the morning and I had to shower in the dark and could not use my blow dryer. Not their fault, I understand, but the lack of amenities was unforgivable, there should not have been a charge for these things. The place has potential, but its not there yet by a long shot.

The hotel has beautiful views of the lake. The spa/gym was nice. Had a small hiccup with check-in -- our keys weren't activated, but that was quickly fixed. The deluxe room was large and comfortable, but I wish they swept the floors which had a lot of dust. The bathroom was also spacious. One thing to note -- my room apparently was in the renovated portion of the hotel (Lake Lodge). Others in my group had rooms in the older portion and were not satisfied with their rooms. If possible, ask for newer rooms upon booking

There was an ice machine on our floor, but the rooms didn't have any water bottles so you have to bring your own. They did have a fridge, microwave and coffee. Our first day there was no hot water to take a shower, but the next day the water was so hot it was scalding. The view of the lake was awesome! The restaurant served ok food and the Sunday brunch, although it had a nice selection, not everything was great. The crab was dry. The scones were delicious! I have an electric car, and although they had free level 2 charging, out of the 3 spots only one was working, so it was hit or miss whether or not it was available. There is no fast charging anywhere else in the area that I could find. There are no restaurants close by, you have to drive to find something outside of the hotel's restaurant. The staff was friendly and it was nice that they had music at the restaurant. It was very hot out (over 100), so being outside by the pool was not our idea of fun, but for those that could tolerate it, the pool area was very nice. We were there for a wedding and the wedding at the gazebo was beautiful, and the use of the private room worked out great. The food was delicious for the reception. Overall, a very good stay. Too long a drive to do again just for fun, but if there were a reason to go, I'd do it again.

Good stay…still working on property up grades and improvements since reopening. … needs more docks for parking of those coming for pool and restaurant…some boats park in launch area for this.. and keeps those guests there from launching and trailering the boat!! Not cool.

The room was clean and comfortable and it was great having a boat launch right next to our hotel room. They also allow pets. The room was decorated nicely for a lakefront hotel room.

Great location especially if you have a boat it’s easy to dock. Some areas are a little dated but I actually liked it it was a very 70s feel in some parts everything was clean. And the staff is nice for the price which is great but highly recommended it may not have all the bells and whistles of the five star resorts but we’re not paying the five star resorts either. I had a great visit. Rooms are very clean. Very large pool plus indoor pool plus a very nice gym too.

This was secondary book on a Sunday. The 1st hotel we booked the pool was closed for a broken pump, so we booked here because they had a pool. Well when we got there the pool closed at 8pm which only gave us about 45minutes to swim. But since we drove there we figured we would get food there. Well they only had pre-made lunch meat sandwiches and salads. At this point now I’m starving, turns out this whole county closes at 8pm..ugh well we figured we would goto sleep and grab breakfast in the morning. Nothings open there because of it being a weekday. I wish we would have called first but the pictures were just so inviting. Don’t get me wrong this place has some major potential! But it’s gonna take sometime to remodel and investing. I’ll bet this place was awesome in the 90’s. When this place gets more remodeled we would totally come back to it. It will be sometime till we make it back here from Ohio. Keep updating I see the potential. The security guard seems to have the most passion for this place and sees what it could be.

This property advertises complete remodel, not the case. Rooms smelt horrible and ceiling had so much water damage it was sagging looking like it was ready to collapse

Okay stay for one night driving through. Very dirty, old, unkept, and very run down.

It was a lovely resort. The food at the restaurant here was pretty good a bit pricey but expected considering where we are. The room was clean ( very enjoyable) We stay here again

Too expensive for the condition & quality of the rooms. Garbage around the property especially the stairs.

Everything was great, except the room had a musty smell when we first checked in.

Ants in the bathroom was unpleasant. Air condioning in the 100 deg heat was inadiquate. The shower had only hot water. Restaurant and bar are closed during the week, which was not clear on the website and closest restaurant is 20 min drive. Bed was comfortable. View of the lake was great. Free charging was a nice bonus.

This is a beautiful property. We didn't have any hot water, but the facility got someone out there and it was fixed within a few hours. We also had some ants and bug issues. Again, they came out an sprayed for them.

The restaurant on site was great. All remodeled rooms very clean and comfortable

The property is not up kept well at all. Our room was full of spiders and spider webs. The windows and floors were filthy and the balcony was filthy and full of spiders. The staff was wonderful and did what they could to help us but it never stopped the spiders unfortunately. The decks on the front side were in bad shape and filthy and had a lot of spiders and webs. It was just so disappointing! And when I left a message for the hotel manager he never responded. Very disappointing. This property used to be nice but it's gone way down hill. I won't stay here again.

The reception area was nice. However, the room and the building had numerous spiderwebs and dirty cobwebs that had been there for a very long time. There were numerous spiders in the room and the outside around the room, the door frame, etc., had dirty debris and lots of spiderwebs. There have been no apparent attempt to make the space welcoming.

The suite comes with a large living room and a small full kitchen. The view is incredible. Highly recommended

The room was way bigger than we thought. It was clean, quiet, nice views of the lake. I wish o could have stayed a couple days more. The restaurant on site had horrible service, the food came out cold. That was the only bad thing to say about the stay.

The pool was wonderful. Our suite didn’t not have Wi-Fi so the TV didn’t work. In the kitchen, the stove didn’t work, the microwave didn’t work, and the coffee pot didn’t work. They did bring a new microwave and it took two tries with a new coffee pot. Also, I was told that I would get 50% of my money back and I have been home for a week and I have not received that yet nor have I received $150 room deposit. I would stay there again. It definitely needs work and the staff is definitely trying.

My stay at the Konocti Harbor Resort over the Fourth of July week was excellent…I arrived very late in the early morning and was greeted by Trisha (I’m sorry if I got her name wrong) she works in the accounting department and is the night manager of the resort. I am very impressed because we hit it off right away. The night auditor is a very friendly person who is very knowledgeable and very personable and made my stay at the resort very pleasant. At first when I arrived into my room it was very HOT but I eventually figured out how to operate the air conditioner and eventually my room was completely chilled. I had dinner in the resort restaurant and I was impressed with my meal. Overall I enjoyed my time and I even made time to relax in the swimming pool which is much appreciated because Clear Lake isn’t so clear and clean. Other than that I think it’s a good value to spend time at the Konocti Harbor Resort.

Tv lost. WiFi lost signal many times and then shut off. Could not connect to WIFI. Bar and restaurant closed at three. Beds are uncomfortable. I will never stay here again

The restaurant there had decent food but the service and staff appeared to not know how to work in the food industry. Some days took longer for food or a server to come back to our table and this was during slow times. I feel like they could use better training and maybe another restaurant option.

Many reasons. They're in a unfinished remodel state. The shower was made wrong. The ceiling had holes, there were spider and big nests in the room. The pictures in the Ad are OUTDATED. The entire bottom floors were condemned. Paper windows and boarded up. They were not currently in construction. We could see the paper in the windows was down. It was very weird and unnerving sleeping over that. Using your App we feel you should have had knowledge of this and it should be in the description. We feel we should receive a partial refund at the least. It was not a good experience. Worth only about $59 - $79 a night. I have pictures but they're not uploading here.

Nice rooms. Recently updated furniture and the bed and pillows were great.

There was nothing to eat open and it didn't say that anywhere when I booked it. The woman behind the desk was not helpful finding a place to ear. I stood at the front desk ringing the bell for 10 minutes before someone came to help. I was early to check in but she said my room had not been cleaned yet. This is a large resort and there was not 1 other car at the hotel They absolutely could have accommodated me after a long drive but couldn't even offer me a room any earlier than 4:00. They claimed to have had the cleaning people scheduled. WHO CARES!!! CHANGE IT! When I did come back the gentleman who helped me apologized for the woman earlier and said she should have given me a room.

Great to see this property is up and running again. Apparently they're bringing back entertainment, but no outdoor arena shows (too bad—they had so many great bands perform here). It's apparent that they're trying their best to get the property up to speed with a limited crew, but every staff member we talked to was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, with an excellent view of the lake. The property overall needs a lot of work, but it's such an iconic setting. With some polish and good marketing to get the word out, this place could rock again!

Do not stay here. They made an additional unauthorized charge to my card. I called the hotel to sort this out and spoke to a very snooty young lady who hung up on me. Very shady. I had to file a claim with the bank that issued my credit card. After much hassle I got my money back.

Nice little property. Seems like it’s seen it’s heyday, but beautiful area and decent enough accommodations.

My 1st impression of this Resort was, it was BIG! If you are looking for a place with a lot of history in music, close to Clear Lake, wonderful Sunrises and sunsets! and great access to Clear lake

The service were very limited due to holiday weekend. No breakfast were available even there should be a food. People were off during holidays and every service was not available. We ended up winding up ourselves earlier than planned. I say please do not keep the service open if you are planning to close during the holidays.

Property location beautiful, rooms newly renovated. Staff either excellent or not interested. Only one restaurant. Service extremely slow and food average at best.

The location is beautiful and the view from the rooms are great. The service in the restaurant was slow and the breakfast buffet was overpriced. We went to a Charity Luau and it was pleasant. However, the bar service was SLOW. And they ran out of deserts!!!
