Holiday Inn Louisville Downtown by IHG

Great location. Easy parking. Valet is not outrageous, and a parking garage just 1 block away! The staff was friendly. Bed very comfortable! Add in a made to order breakfast. This was worth the price!

I have stayed at my fair share of Holiday Inn by IHG and I have found them to really good so I try to find one when Im out going out of town but this has to be the worst one. Booked our stay for 3 nights and added breakfast for an up charge for 2 day. We didn’t even eat at the restaurant the second morning because of the service. Service was bad for there only being 5 people in the. Server forgot things we ordered and just never brought them out. The Couple next to use ordered omelets with everything and only got onions. When they brought it up to the server he argued with the couple. We had dirty towels in the room and found ants on the night stand the night before we checked out. When I brought it up to the guy at the front desk Zulua?? He didn’t seem phased by it nor offended an apology. Lastly the fire alarm when off at 7:30 am for about 30 seconds followed by the sirens of a fire truck. So much for sleeping in.

Great spot, close to everything. Plan for paying for parking would be the only thing I was Not aware of before my stay. Staff was super friendly.

The staff were all awesome besides the breakfast guy. I came down at 10:40am on Sunday and he said I could not order anything because they "were about to close". He should have just closed then if he was going to turn everyone away at that point. Ridiculous! Bedroom was a little small, they should definitely put the TV up on the wall so you can have that table for extra stuff.
