The hotel is very nice in a great location with excellent facilities. However one night they had a large corporate group which meant the hotel restaurant was not available for residents which was disappointing. The spa facilities are great as is the ability to book bikes from the hotel for a cycle around the lake. The hotel parking is expensive but there is a free car park right beside the hotel. The biggest shock is the cost for breakfast, €52 for 2 people which is a complete ripoff.

Modern spacious hotel rooms at a perfect location by the lake and quite close to the old city center. The hotel bar closed too early (11pm) but otherwise the service was up to standard. The hotel restaurant was of good quality and the breakfast served perfect pain au chocolat. The only downside was the unnecessarily loud pling from the elevator that penetrated into the rooms.

Très bel hôtel et très moderne, la chambre très spacieuse et élégante, rien à dire sur la propreté et sur l'espace de la chambre. Seul petit bémol est que l'eau du jacuzzi est vraiment trop fraîche, j'ai même eu froid dans l'eau alors que ce n'est vraiment pas le but quand on est dans un jacuzzi. En général l'air ambiant du SPA est trop froid L'autre petit point négatif c'est le prix du petit déjeuner à EUR 26 c'est tout de même un peu abusé même si c'était un délicieux petit déjeuner Pour le reste, tout nickel

La chambre était petite et nous donnions directement sur le balcon des voisins, pas très pratique pour sortir de la salle de bain. Nous avons demander PENDANT TOUT LE SEJOUR, que notre évier soit nettoyé et débouché mais sans aucun effet, nous avons gardé le mauvais écoulement et les mauvaises odeurs … Nous sommes un peu déçu aussi des tarifs exorbitant du bar et du peu de choix en vin pour un hôtel de ce standing. Par contre la piscine et le spa sont vraiment très bien, et agréable, la situation de l'hôtel est idéale. Le repas du soir était correct mais sans plus et je ne pensais pas qu'un changement de café en thé sur un menu changeait aussi le prix, déjà assez consistant, en tout cas plus que les plats !!! Parking payant et pas de place, il devrait être réservé aux clients de l'hôtel compte tenu du prix de 20 euros la nuit. Personnel agréable et bel acceuil.

We stayed for 8 nights with two Prestige rooms. Loved the hotel look, layout and our quiet bedrooms with balcony. The rooms were a highlight for us - there was some peeling paint around the shower head and mixed opinions on the comfort of the balcony chairs but neither detracted from our 5* enjoyment. A special mention to the cleaning staff and to the ladies who work in the bar. We also hired bikes for 1/2 day (very good value) and had one massage (OK value). For such a long stay we opted to park our car free off-site behind the hotel (research needed), and visited Pan et Gato and Carrefour behind hotel for basic food items. We were put off using hotel restaurant by some mixed reviews around service so cannot comment on that. The walk to the main town sometimes felt long so we used a bus along the road behind the hotel for some journeys at hottest part of the day.

The pictures really don’t do this hotel justice. We were pleasantly surprised when we turned up. The hotel was of an excellent (and very clean) standard. We really enjoyed our stay.

nous avons trouvé un hôtel très jolie propre état de la chambre magnifique visuellement ensuite nous avons remarqué des taches sur le tapis et de gros taches sur le matelas qui nous ont choqué pour un hôtel de 4 étoiles 👎 pour préciser chambre 125 dans la nuit impossible de dormir de 23h à 4h du matin des bruits que nous pouvions pas situer à l’étage supérieur nous avions des amis avec nous qui ont participé à une compétition de dragon sur le lac de annecy qui eux avaient trouvé un hôtel à la gare 24 personnes ont trouvé un hôtel très entretenue ont super bien dormi (ibis hôtel) et 50 % moins cher des fois ont ce trompe sur c’est fameux étoile bon je reviendrai à annecy une ville propre exactement fait pour nous l’année prochaine nous passerons une semaine c’est certain par contre pas nos nuits au rivage hôtel

Beautiful modern hotel and spa. Our room was a generous size and the balcony had a great view of both mountain and lake. Very helpful staff who arranged bike hire and spa treatments. Close to a big grassy beach. A good half hour walk to the old town, so evening restaurant choices are more limited, but there are some closer ones nonetheless, as well as one (Lona) in the hotel.

We stayed at the Rivage for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! We stayed in a Deluxe Room with a Balcony facing towards the lake on the 2nd floor, however due to the trees surrounding the lake we couldn't actually see the lake which was a bit of a shame. The room itself was very big and modern with everything you could want, 2 bathrooms with both a bath tub and shower wet room and two double beds including the optional sofa bed. We requested room cleaning each day by hanging the sign on the door as we left in the morning and always returned to a wonderfully clean room. We also ordered breakfast room service for one of the mornings and were pleasantly surprised with the amount and quality of the food offered. We also used the Spa once during our stay and had a nice time in the pool and large jacuzzi. On our final night (Friday) they had a live band setup outside the main entrance that can be viewed from the room balconies and the ground floor bar, this was a really nice touch and they were great musicians! The only negative we experienced was on check-out, we noticed we were incorrectly charged for another rooms bar service. Also there was some confusion over returning deposit that was charged to our card when checking in and setting the final balance on check-out and we mistakenly paid for our rooms per night again, even though we pre-paid through Hotels.com when initially booking. This was resolved by emailing the reception within a few days.

Very nice personel and the room was spacious, clean and had all amenities you might need. The bed was so comfortable that I almost slept in. The location is fantastic, just in front of the lake and away from the noisy centre. However, the city centre is only a 20 Min walk away. For the price I would have expected to have breakfast included but it does not bother me, since I do not eat early in the morning. The spa area is also nice and you have enough possibilities to get out relaxed. Altogether an extremely recommendable hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Everything about it was wow! Everywhere was immaculate. Our room was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Staff were very efficient & friendly. Great parking. Amazing views and it’s beautiful walk around the lake into the town. Highly recommend and would love to go back.

Staying at this hotel was a delight. Very spacious, clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and worked hard to make our visit a pleasure. We decided to walk into Annecy as it felt safe and the views of the lake are spectacular.

The main restaurant in the hotel, food was excellent ( when it eventually came) the service was poor for the standard of the hotel and the cost of the food. Ordered drinks didn’t arrive starter course took 40 minutes not offered an apology or even a courtesy drink ( poor). Ordered a soufflé for desert and came frozen !! . Generally though the spa was excellent as was the room, however it would have been nice to have a complementary bottle of water in the fridge.

Used tourist information the following morning. Breakfast very expensive. Room to side of hotel overlooked school so could be noisy. TV very hit and miss as to whether it worked.location great for lake and water sports but poor for restaurants. E bike tour of lake worth doing and can be hired from hitel direct.

Very sharp design, rooms are spacious and well laid out. About 2km from old town, but pleasant walk. Restaurant staff are very poorly trained. Will walk right by you as you wave your arms and not make eye contact. We ditched our last night reservation because we were so tired of the poor service.

Perfectly located lakeside hotel. We had a fabulous room and the staff were amazing. Amazing gym and pool. Our room was beautifully clean and we were upgraded to a lake view room with a balcony as it was my husband’s 60th. The hotel was about a 40 minute walk to the old town, but this was ok as we enjoy a walk. Uber is available as well. The reception staff were very helpful and there is an activities desk where you can organise activities to do during your stay. We hired bikes at a very reasonable price and cycled around the lake. This was our favourite part of our stay! Overall an excellent hotel to spend part of our holiday at.

First time writing a review on hotel.com. The hotel was beyond my expectation. In my opinion if you travel in Annecy without a car, this is the best place to stay. 30min walk/10mins cycling from the center and tourists, but easy access to a few beautiful restaurants and to other parts of the lake. Everything was therapeutic

bel hôtel situé juste en face du lac, parking facile et gratuit à l'arrière, accueil attentionné, chambre avec terrasse bien équipée et confortable, avec un petit bémol sur les oreillers (pourquoi sont-ils si petits?). Le seul point négatif de cet hôtel est son petit-déjeuner qui pourrait être amélioré! Néanmoins nous avons fait une halte reposante et agréable!

L’accès au spa est apprécié malgré une très forte affluence les deux jours de suite… Seul bémol, le petit déjeuner, pas du tout à la hauteur des autres 4 étoiles que nous avons pu faire, choix limité et la plupart des plats étaient froids… dommage.
