Beautiful property overall with very poor management. Horrible service all new staff that don’t know anything or look like children. Extremely unprofessional. Also tons of flies around the pool where it becomes not enjoyable to lay our eat at the pool.

Nice stay and great room, but definitely more 4 stars than 5! No gym, no heated pool(s) and service could be better. Staff were nice, but we didn’t get any information about the area or available activities. Also the restaurant was closed for 2 nights for private event - which is fine, but then the hotel should do something for their other guests. We had to complain before we got a gesture with free food. Acceptable with 4 stars, but not 5.

Lovely place, friendly service, great healthy breakfast, good restaurant. I would advise more efficient E-bikes (which is a lovely idea) and I personally missed a gym for training in addition to yoga. We had a great stay and definitely recommend it

Our stay was most enjoyable and the staff were fantastic and charming . Facilities were rustic and perfect for what we wanted

Ser bedre ud på billederne end det er i virkeligheden. Aftensmaden i restuaranten var super god. Alt andet var under standard. Tydeligt at personalet (som alle var venlige og prøvede deres bedste) ikke var uddannede i service. Uklart koncept, meget dyr spa afdeling, hvor sauna ikke var åben. Fandt cigarretskod på vores terrasse og badekåber og håndlæder var vasket i en meget stært parfume, som gjorde os begge allergiske. Alt var bygget ret dårligt og det var tydeligt at hotellet her er lavet mere til at se godt ud på et billede end virkeligheden tilbyder. Synd, på et ellers flot hotel med meget potentiale.

Better signing is needed for swimming pool/Towels service etc. the check in was a bit vague without to much explanation about the property hours and services.

What started great ended-up being a let down. A day before our arrival someone from the staff called and asked about our arrival time and possible allergies. We told them our arrival time and were looking forward to our staying. Check-in time would have been 15h. We arrived at around 15:45h. The room wasn`t ready. Instead of offering a welcome drink, we were offered to sit next to the pool and wait for our room. We gladly refused and did enjoy ourselves at the beach. The rooms were not very spacious, the bathroom had a bad smell. The rooms are side by side and one could hear what was going on right and left of us. We went out for a nice dinner and returned and thought, let's give this property a second chance. We were thinking of a nice cocktail and asked the staff if this would be possible. Despite the restaurant being half empty at around 22h they said a reservation would be needed and there is none available right now. Never experienced anything like that before. The staff had the great suggestion that we could drive off to a bar. The next bar would just be reachable by car, which might not be the best idea when looking for cocktails. After that wonderful experience we made sure to not spend a single dime on this property. We would not recommend to stay here. We spent some day before in a property that is right across the street and loved it there. Friendly staff, very nice rooms and no sounds from your neighbors.

O hotel é muito bom porém tem um problema grave na questão do horário de limpeza dos apartamentos . O hotel aparentemente prioriza a limpeza dos apartamentos que tem check out . Mesmo assim a minha habitação só foi disponibilizado depois das 16 horas. Muitas vezes os apartamentos são limpos aproximadamente 18 horas . Isso é um grande problema .

Loved the property and the staff were wonderful. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was fantastic and accommodating. I enjoyed the location and the town of Comporta wasn’t too far and has great shops and more. We drove to endless white sand beaches and loved exploring the area.

The property is brand new and radiates freshness, welcome, quietness, peace. Everything is well thought of and stylish, the staff is very friendly, motivated and welcoming. The only little remark is that the staff is very young and somewhat inexperienced, so we had a long wait to get our drinks, starter and dinner served. But then again, we were there to relax and enjoy quietness, so what? Keep up the great work!

Independente Comporta was a truly serene experience. The setting is peaceful and beautifully designed, and the atmosphere invites you to slow down. The staff were kind and attentive, and everything about the space felt thoughtful and well cared for. It’s one of the most memorable places we’ve ever stayed — calm, intentional, and quietly special.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night and it was lovely. Our room was super cozy and the adobe concept was amazing. We also had dinner at the hotel and the food was pretty good! The service was really good and everything ran smoothly from beginning to end! Thank you!

Overall a great property and good service. The one issue was we had a room with an adjoining room (separated by a door) and we could hear absolutely everything from the room next door, even whispers. The room next door said the same thing. The hotel should know not to book people in these rooms if they are not the same party.

We had such an amazing time staying here! Would rebook again and again. The staff were awesome, food was delicious, room was lovely. Lots of sweet little details that made the stay extra special. The price was unbeatable too!

O hotel muito charmoso com um bom atendimento, porém achamos o quarto com algumas deficiências, falta armário e uma cômoda com gavetas para acomodar melhor as roupas. O café da manhã era bom, mas o atendimento era meio confuso, sugerimos que a maquina de café expresso fique de forma que o hospede possa se servir a vontade.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön! Es gibt allerdings im Hotel kaum Infos zum Hotel und Umgebung. Der Grossteil des Personals ist sehr unbeholfen, vielleicht neu. Preise sind viel zu hoch für das was sie können.

Independente Comporta is off to a great start in their first few weeks! Amazing staff helping get the property get going! Best part has to be the food and drinks! Fantastic Chef and Sommelier!

Experiencia inmejorable. El hotel acaba de abrir y es precioso. Lo que lo hace inmejorable es la gente que trabaja en el, servicio de 10! Destacar el trato de Daniela, Constança y Mariana, nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Sin duda algo que lo hace diferencial sobre la competencia es el nivel del restaurante, platos innovadores y deliciosos. Sin duda repetiremos, enhorabuena!
