This hotel is truly beautiful. My room was comfortable, modern and elegant. The staff was friendly and the concierge had excellent advise for day trips or train rides. The breakfast buffet is stunning. I used both the pool and the gym and both were a pleasure. The Metro blue line is closeby through quaint backstreets. I like that the area is not as congested and hyper as the main Sukhumvit area. I look forward to going back. Great value for the price.

I'm picky. This hotel is great. It's clean. The premium deluxe room, whatever it was called, was beautiful - big bathtub and luxury bathroom. My fave part was the breakfast which was included for me. So much variety, different things each day, incredible Thai food but also Indian, Chinese, British. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and I can not recommend them enough. Gym and pool also nice.

Boutique hotel with larger than average rooms and good location. Staff is attentive and good amenities. We had the family room and appreciated the extra space and the large bathroom. A shuttle/tuk tuk service is available every 15 minutes (every 30 min after 4pm) to/from Emporium Suites. Convenient but often have to wait long for shuttle to arrive or get stuck in traffic on Soi 24 during rush hour. We often ended up taking a grab from the hotel. The bathroom was clean, large and spacious but two complaints: (1) the shower water heater has a temp malfunction where water will switch between hot to warm every 20 seconds which gets annoying, (2) no hooks in the bathroom to hang clothing or towels! The bedroom itself was large and the family room has a separate sitting area which is welcome space. Room outlets are 220v but accept North American plugs which is convenient if you don’t have a travel plug adapter. One of the closets was very odd- tall, narrow empty closet with no hanging rod or drawers. It was wasted space and we didn’t know how to use it. A set of drawers would’ve been nice in there. Breakfast selection was reasonably good but best to avoid the busy morning rush as the space quickly gets crowded. We stayed in both buildings. Avoid building 2 if you can. It feels like a self service hotel with no staff on the ground floor. Rooms were clean and large but it was an inconvenience to cross the street to use the gym, pool, breakfast which is in building 1.

Wow, I really was impressed with the Valia. Booked a Junior Suite with access to the lounge and spent 3 great days. The gym is very complete, the breakfast with a zillion options (tried both at Florae and at the lounge and both were outstanding), the pool had a great combination of sun and shade, the shuttle was always there to take me shopping and the room was absolute silence (most important thing in a hotel room for me). I would go back in a heartbeat.

部屋は清潔でスタッフの方も笑顔の方が多くとても良かった。部屋の設備についてはやや不満が残った。シャワーの排水が詰まっていてシャワーブースの外にまで水が溢れてしまった。詰まりの原因は髪の毛だと思うが、滞在中ずっと水が詰まりっぱなしだったので、また、ロビーやプール近くのトイレは水の流れが良かったが、部屋のトイレは超節水型で、トイレ周りが常に臭かった。水回りを除いては本当に良いホテルだと思う。

Hygiene is very bad. I experienced that the cleaner doesn’t clean well the room. The carpet in the room gives bad smell. Every day when we returned back to our room It has smelly of cigarettes we don’t smoke and the room was non smoking room. My child got sick in the 2th day of our stay because of the dirt and dust in the room. The restaurant staffs were friendly and kind specially the manager. We were satisfied by the price of breakfast.

Only reason for higher rating was the staff were really nice. We had 2 rooms on 2 different floors and the hallways had a really bad smell due to the carpet. Our room wasn’t cleaned well and the carpet just smelled really bad. Every time you walk on the carpet the smell would intensify. It just was very smelly and almost dusty like carpet needed to be washed. Some parts of the carpet were coming undone. Also location wasn’t great far from everything.

Overall speaking, the experience with Valia Hotel is good with a spacious and clean rooms. Decors in the room is pretty new and good. Yet, the bathtub is new but the switch of the stopper has sharp ends which cuts my wife fingers when she tries switch the stopper. The hotel should take a look and inspect all those parts which customers will need to touch upon when using the bathroom

The staff at the hotel were amazing!The wonderful woman who checked me in gave me my Gold Member benefits with a great room upgrade and a 555 Baht dining voucher, which we gladly used. She also checked me in within minutes and everything with a smile. Almost everyone at the front desk remembered me. The consierge Koko and their other staff people helped me with restaurant suggestions as well as booking me a seemless taxicab ride to the Bangkok airport. They made sure that my 11:00 AM taxi booking happened right on time. I also want to shout out a big thank you to the entire breakfast staff. I have never had such organized and attentive service in ANY of my breakfast buffet settings. Ahmad, the restaurant manager made sure that I had everything i needed and asked how I liked the food. They also had a really nice and personable girl, Mild, come over to me and welcome us back to the hotel. She was in charge of their egg grilling department. When the eggs were done she would bring them to the table. She was SO nice! Our room was incredible! Spotlessly clean with great air conditioning and fantastic bedding, especiall the pillows and mattress. Posh at the front desk made sure my check out also went well. Again, so sweet I feel very lucky to have found this hotel. I have rarely been treat so well in a hotel or resort situation. I highly recommend this property! Thank you Valia Hotel!

Staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Tops the front desk manager really helped sort out our booking confusion. He called us after we checked in to make sure everything was good. Our room was beautiful, the pool view from our 7th floor room was very unique, and the room was well kept. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!

Not quite 5 star service throughout. Doormen rarely opened doors ofr us. Our room request about a high floor and view were not satisfied with inadequate excuses about other guests staying longer. The lounge offering for snacks and drinks was poor outside of happy hour and it wasn't always staffed. We waited over 1 hr for luggage to be sent to our room and had to repeatedly request it.

Well it didn’t start off well. I was arriving at about 10am and asked if I could have an early check in. Initially they said if I checked in before 10am 100% of the room rate would apply and check in after 10am, 50% of the room rate would apply. So as my check in would be after 10am I told them I was happy with 50% for after 10am. However after a while they contacted me to say this was wrong and 100% of the room rate would apply regardless of the check in time. I could have argued it but chose not too. However the room was very nice, air con worked very well, room service was very good and the Florae Restaurant was excellent. The gym was very well equipped but the pool area wasn’t the most relaxing due to loud music being played there all day. The club lounge offered a nice breakfast but I did note there was no handrail to assist walking up the 10 or 12 steps. And my stay didn’t end well either. I rang the concierge 2 days before my departure to book a private car/ limousine to the airport but they failed to do this and they had to locate another vehicle at the last minute. So not a bad stay overall but they could do better.

The main problem was at check-in. Staff did not recognize my membership and its benefits. Argued a long time and show them the online receipt. Finally some solution came in place, but no manager took contact from the problems during the stay, My 3rd visit at this hotel, and the only visit that has had issues.The front desk and management need to provide better service than this.

Excellent stay here. Staff make an extra effort, which goes the extra mile. Everyone couldn’t do enough for us. Wouldn’t think twice about coming back if in Bangkok. If there was a sixth star it would be yours. Made us feel like home. Thank you all

Location has lots around it you can walk to....food, small local shops, shuttle takes you to other locations like the supermalls 3 of them near by. Pool is very nice weight room is one of the best Ive seen at any hotel location. Staff is very friendly and caters to your needs in a timely if not pro-active manner at all times

Great room that was impeccably clean and very spacious bathroom with beautiful shower and amenities.The staff was so accommodating, friendly, and helpful beyond expectations! The breakfast buffet was delicious offering many cuisines that suited me and partner ( American and Thai) to the fullest. The only thing I could critique would be the Satay we ordered poolside ( floor 6). It was disgraceful . Over all a 9/10 experience due to the Satay being such poor quality.
