The Central Downtown Inn Suites

The apartment was spacious and while dated, it was clean. Would have been nice except for extreme lack of hospitality. Check-in was pretty awful, had to call to get door code, then they only sent the code for the room, not the front door code (door was open when I got there, so ended up locked out when I took dog out at night). Property owner was very rude about mistake. Bring earplugs, walls are thin and they were doing work upstairs late into the night, completely oblivious to fact that they had guests in the building.

The room was so dirty we left and stayed elsewhere. Semen stains multiple places, cigarette burns on the sheets, dirty bathroom w broken fixtures, ungrounded electric outlets. There was no front or desk checkin, just ring a bell and a random man who barely spoke comes out to stand in the hall w a phone. When I texted the man w issues, no response. I Spent the same amount on a room down the road which had no issues.

Happy with space - kitchen area clean - however pullout mattress was discussingly stained and comb found when opened up - had to ask for sheets and blanket which finally came more than an hour later 10:30 pm - back stairs covered with ice - hazardous to get up and down and back porch covered with cigarette butts

Room felt neglected. Arrived to a strong odor of cigarettes, tvs didn’t work, sliding door screens were off track, visible dirt and grime everywhere. Attempted to get a different room, but they were unable to accommodate us so we just left. The owners seemed kind but I’m still out 400 dollars so it’s cold comfort.

Checked in was easy, instructions were easy to follow. Only one staff member but he was very responsive to issues/concern. We booked 2 rooms but one room was on another building and it was outdated. Rooms were cleaned but there was this musty smell on the hallway. Overall, good stay, close to 2 ski resorts.
