Otelin konumunu, dekorasyonunu, çalışanlarını, hizmetini çok beğendim. Sorunsuz bir hafta sonu geçirdik. Otel müdürü hem gezilecek yerler hem aktiviteler hakkında yeterince bilgili. Her konuda doğru yönlendirmeleri ve doğru kontakları sağladı. Odaların dekorasyonu ve malzeme kalitesi çok iyi. Kahvaltı geliştirilebilir. Otel barındaki fiyatlar kabul edilebilir seviyeye çekilse iyi olur. Bir kaç ufak sıkıntı yaşadık fakat otel müdürünün müşteri odaklı yaklaşımı sayesinde sıkıntı soruna dönüşmeden çözüldü. Superb reception staff, clean, air conditioned and very large rooms, comfortable and very quiet. Only downside was the sink and shower faucets did not function properly. While room service meals are offered, they weren't available during my stay. It's only about a 5 minute walk to the town plaza with a limited variety of dining places. But it is distant from the hub of activity and dining in Goreme.

Doda hits ALL the marks✨ Friendly 24/7 concierge service and an incredible breakfast. We loved room 208! A unique space offering a bi-level room (upstairs bedroom and bathroom, downstairs sitting area with a mini fridge and tea kettle). You’ll have your own private patio overlooking the courtyard and the city of Ortahisar. After visiting Goreme and Uchisar we were very happy we chose Orthisar. It is quaint and peaceful in comparison to the busy, touristy vibe of the other two main stays AND you also avoid all of the steep hills here. Taxis are always available and cost ~400 Lira (~5 USD) for a day or night visit into Goreme or Uchisar. HIGHLY recommend!

A lovely boutique hotel, with only 8 rooms, a very friendly staff and a super helpful manager. Umut is the perfect host, all our trips and bookings were handled by him so we had the time of our life. Highly recommend the place.

Tutmuş olduğumuz odada aşırı rutubet problemi vardi, havalandirma yok denebilecek kadar azdı. Rutubet nedeniyle koyulan nem tutucu tarif edilmediğinden kendim çözdüm. Ama incelemem gerekti kullanma klavuzu yok malum. O da son gün kullanabildim. 2 saatte 1 litre su tutmuştu odada kapalı havuz vardı, rutubetin kaynağı oydu. Havuz ve oda cam kapı ile ayrılmış ama havuzda havalandırma yetersiz. Nem tutucuyu hava temizleyici dediler ve su tankı yosun tutmus ve kupkuruydu, muhtemelen kimse dökmemiş kendi kendine kurumuş. Düşünce güzel dekorasyon zayıftı. Nem tutucunun havayi cektiği tül filtre komple tozdu. Temizledim ama son gündü. Oraya salon tipi yoğuşmalı klima gerekli. Ya da havalandirmayi kuvvetlendirmeleri gerek. Yoksa kesinlikle fiyatini haketmiyor. Konforsuz. Tüm Personel ise sagolsun yardimsever ve iyi niyetli insanlardı. Kendilerine iyi mesailer dilerim. L'hôtel est magnifique et le service exceptionnel. L'employé qui nous a accueilli m'a pas hésité à nous offrir une chambre de classe supérieure à notre réservation vu que l'hôtel était peu occupé. La chambre était hyper confortable et offrait une vue sur le cjâteau d'Ortahisar.

Our stay at the Doda Hotel was highly disappointing. During our brief stay, my mom and I were attacked by bugs, and despite this severe issue, the hotel refused to refund us. From the moment we arrived, we were looking forward to a comfortable stay. However, it quickly became a nightmare when we discovered bugs in our room. We reported the problem to the hotel staff immediately, hoping for a quick resolution or at least a change of rooms. Unfortunately, their response was inadequate, and we continued to suffer from bug bites. To make matters worse, the hotel’s amenities were far from what was promised. The Wi-Fi was insufficient, making it impossible to stay connected. After enduring this for a few hours, we decided to check out almost immediately, not even managing to stay 12 hours. This unfortunate experience nearly ruined my mother’s birthday, which was supposed to be a special occasion. The hotel management’s lack of action was extremely frustrating. Not only did they fail to address the issue properly, but they also refused to provide any form of compensation or refund for the discomfort and distress we experienced. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially in a hospitality industry that prides itself on guest satisfaction. Our experience was far from satisfactory. The bugs, insufficient Wi-Fi, and the hotel’s refusal to refund us have left us with a lasting negative impression. Given our unfortunate experience, we would not recommend staying here.

The room was very clean and big! The breakfast was very good and fresh! Great coffee! The staff was amazingly friendly and very polite! They did everything they could to make your stay awesome! And Barney the cat was also awesome! The owner was so sweet and asked me if I needed anything, her hotel is really cute and you really feel like you took a step back in time, but she made the rooms very homey and very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

A fantastic hotel with a staff that pride’s itself to ensure its gusts are happy and well taken care of. The Doda Cave hotel is one of the best operated hotels I have stayed at. The room was very clean and the location of the hotel offers a fantastic view of the castle. Further, the morning breakfast was fresh, well prepared, and very delicious. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my return visit to Cappadocia!

The room was very clean and big! The breakfast was very good and fresh! Great coffee! The staff was amazingly friendly and very polite! They did everything they could to make your stay awesome! And Barney the cat was also awesome! The owner was so sweet and asked me if I needed anything, her hotel is really cute and you really feel like you took a step back in time, but she made the rooms very homey and very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this hotel!
The room was very clean and big! The breakfast was very good and fresh! Great coffee! The staff was amazingly friendly and very polite! They did everything they could to make your stay awesome! And Barney the cat was also awesome! The owner was so sweet and asked me if I needed anything, her hotel is really cute and you really feel like you took a step back in time, but she made the rooms very homey and very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Superb reception staff, clean, air conditioned and very large rooms, comfortable and very quiet. Only downside was the sink and shower faucets did not function properly. While room service meals are offered, they weren't available during my stay. It's only about a 5 minute walk to the town plaza with a limited variety of dining places. But it is distant from the hub of activity and dining in Goreme.

Doda hits ALL the marks✨ Friendly 24/7 concierge service and an incredible breakfast. We loved room 208! A unique space offering a bi-level room (upstairs bedroom and bathroom, downstairs sitting area with a mini fridge and tea kettle). You’ll have your own private patio overlooking the courtyard and the city of Ortahisar. After visiting Goreme and Uchisar we were very happy we chose Orthisar. It is quaint and peaceful in comparison to the busy, touristy vibe of the other two main stays AND you also avoid all of the steep hills here. Taxis are always available and cost ~400 Lira (~5 USD) for a day or night visit into Goreme or Uchisar. HIGHLY recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Doda Artisanal Cave Hotel! The customer service was excellent — the team was kind, attentive, and very helpful throughout my visit. The traditional Turkish breakfast was such a treat and a refreshing change from the usual buffet style. My room was spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated, perfectly blending comfort with the charm of a cave hotel. I absolutely loved the artistic decor throughout the property — every corner felt thoughtfully designed. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting a frequent visitor, the hotel’s adorable cat, who added such a lovely touch of warmth and homeliness. The staff went above and beyond to help organize excursions like the hot air balloon ride, as well as the Red and Green tours, making it easy to experience the best of Cappadocia. The location was also ideal, with several great restaurants within walking distance. The peaceful and serene atmosphere made my stay truly memorable. The Wi-Fi was insufficient, making it impossible to stay connected. After enduring this for a few hours, we decided to check out almost immediately, not even managing to stay 12 hours. This unfortunate experience nearly ruined my mother’s birthday, which was supposed to be a special occasion. The hotel management’s lack of action was extremely frustrating. Not only did they fail to address the issue properly, but they also refused to provide any form of compensation or refund for the discomfort and distress we experienced. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially in a hospitality industry that prides itself on guest satisfaction. Our experience was far from satisfactory. The bugs, insufficient Wi-Fi, and the hotel’s refusal to refund us have left us with a lasting negative impression. Given our unfortunate experience, we would not recommend staying here.

Umut and the rest of the Doda team were so helpful and hospitable! They went above and beyond to make our visit so special. All of the staff members were excellent. They took very good care of me. Breakfast was superb every morning. They cleaned my room thoroughly. Seda, the hotel owner was very helpful. Very available. I appreciate all of her help, I will be returning again. My stay in Cappadocia was one of the best vacations I’ve had in a long time. Goreme was absolutely amazing .

The room was very clean and the location of the hotel offers a fantastic view of the castle. Further, the morning breakfast was fresh, well prepared, and very delicious. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my return visit to Cappadocia!

İki gecelik konaklama yaptık. İlk geceden sonra odadaki havuzun temizlenmesini istedik. İlk başta çok maliyetli olduğu için yapmayacaklarını, sadece ilaçlayabileceklerini veya suyun yarısını değiştireceklerini söylediler. Biz tamamen değişmesini istedik sonunda kabul ettiler. Ancak akşam odaya döndüğümüzde suyun hiç temizlenmediğini gördük. Ölü sinekler, su yüzeyinde kirler ve tüyler mevcuttu. Değişmediğini söylediğimizde bizi kendilerini yalancılıkla itham etmekle suçladılar. Temizliğe girdiklerinde hijyen malzemeleri ve terlik bile yenilenmemişti. We loved our stay here! It was such a good decision to stay away from the chaos of Goreme. It felt like a safe heaven with still beautiful views but with the calm of the garden of the property. The room are so tasteful and have gone beyond the traditional design you find all over Cappadocia with modern and artistic touches. Staff and owner are always ready to help with a smile on their faces. We will definitely be back!

Ortahisar is the perfect location, with its own historical centre but also near enough to walk or take a taxi from tourist-hungry, chaotic Goreme. I completely recommend Doda to couples! Dear Umut! Superb reception staff, clean, air conditioned and very large rooms, comfortable and very quiet. Only downside was the sink and shower faucets did not function properly. While room service meals are offered, they weren't available during my stay. It's only about a 5 minute walk to the town plaza with a limited variety of dining places. But it is distant from the hub of activity and dining in Goreme.

Doda hits ALL the marks✨ Friendly 24/7 concierge service and an incredible breakfast. We loved room 208! A unique space offering a bi-level room (upstairs bedroom and bathroom, downstairs sitting area with a mini fridge and tea kettle). You’ll have your own private patio overlooking the courtyard and the city of Ortahisar. After visiting Goreme and Uchisar we were very happy we chose Orthisar. It is quaint and peaceful in comparison to the busy, touristy vibe of the other two main stays AND you also avoid all of the steep hills here. Taxis are always available and cost ~400 Lira (~5 USD) for a day or night visit into Goreme or Uchisar. HIGHLY recommend!

The room was very clean and big! The breakfast was very good and fresh! Great coffee! The staff was amazingly friendly and very polite! They did everything they could to make your stay awesome! And Barney the cat was also awesome! The owner was so sweet and asked me if I needed anything, her hotel is really cute and you really feel like you took a step back in time, but she made the rooms very homey and very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful few days at Doda cave hotel. The place really is beautiful and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The rooms are exceptionally well designed, from the hand cut stone bathrooms to the quality bed linen every detail is spot on. You have your own private terrace in front of each room. The ladies who prepare breakfast are delightful and made us the most delicious breakfast we had in Turkey! Thank you - we really appreciated it. Def recommend!
