Als addon gab es einen Eisfuchs zu bestaunen, der durch das Grundstück rannte. Highlights: whirlpool, gute Ausstattung im Haus, ruhige Lage und Waschmaschine for free.

Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön direkt am Wasser und ist perfekt, um Polarlichter zu beobachten (wir hatten riesengroßes Glück). Der Self Check-in funktionierte einwandfrei und unkompliziert. Der „hot tub“ in Form eines Bootes kann rund um die Uhr genutzt werden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

This was the most epic location I have ever stayed in. It is on a little point out into the water and we were surrounded by fog when we arrived, so it was so magical and amazing. Our cottage was awesome and the hot tub in a boat was so nice. Also, having laundry available was a huge plus. We enjoyed seeing the baby arctic fox that hung out by our cottage all evening.

Beautiful setting, comfortable cabin and friendly helpful owners. Fun hot tub in a boat. We were snowed-in so this was a really nice feature. Excellent breakfast before early departure!

The cabin is set in an amazing and beautiful location, with stunning views of the fjords and water all around. We enjoyed walking the property and even met the arctic fox that roams freely, which was a highlight. The boat hot tub was a great spot to relax while taking in the views. The cabin itself was spacious, and we appreciated that laundry was available, though there is only one machine and it’s accessible only in the evenings. The kitchen had all the basic utensils and pans for cooking, but it lacked essentials like salt, pepper, and oil. We had to purchase seasonings, and even our cabin neighbors asked if they could borrow some. Some aspects of the cabin felt outdated. The couch was worn, and the bed was very soft and sagging—uncomfortable enough that I woke up with back pain. The loft area (which we didn’t use) also seemed not to be properly cleaned, with unfolded blankets and pillows left around. That made us question whether other parts of the cabin had been cleaned thoroughly. Overall, this is a beautiful property with incredible views and unique features, but there are a few areas that need improvement to match the amazing setting.

If you can get out to the East fjords of Iceland, this is an amazing place to stay. The cabins are two story with a nice kitchenette and very clean and comfortable. The ladder stairs are steep, so it’s not great for really small children or elderly, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The best part are the views of the fjord! So amazing and peaceful. There is also a small laundry room, sauna and hot tub. While we were there we got to play with a baby arctic fox pup that the owners were taking care of. Overall a great stay!

Die Lage direkt im Fjord war wunderbar. Umgeben von tollen Bergen und vielen Wasserfällen. Wir waren auf den den Bergen wandern und haben Ausflugs den Puffins und in die Umgebung unternommen.Für vier Personen mit Gepäck war es etwas eng , aber sonst Perfekt. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder .

Une petite maisonette au milieu d’un fjord, au calme, tres reposante Le seul petit bémol est l’odeur un peu persistante dans la salle de bain et les chambres.. on a beaucoup aéré et mis du parfum. Mais cela restait quand meme un peu. Manquerait du sel peut être aussi :) Mais honnêtement c’etait vraiment un super endroit.

Nous nous faisions une joie d'arriver dans ce petit coin de nature. L'accueil est nul il n'y a personne pour vous accueillir et nous n'avons vu personne du séjour (2 nuits). Le ménage était approximatif à notre arrivée (freezer complètement congelé avec des vieilles glaces à l'intérieur). Et contrairement à ce qui était indiqué le ménage n'est pas fait quotidiennement. Pas de savon, gel douche, shampooing il faut être prévoyant.quant au liquide vaisselle quelques gouttes nous ont sauvé pour les deux jours. La lunette des toilettes était cassée. Bref nous sommes très déçu d'autant que le prix de la nuit est très élevé.

The property was located in a scenic place. All the windows provided beautiful views of the fjord. Tge bedrooms were on the top and the ladder was a bit steep but the views from the top were stunning. The property had all required gadgets for a nice stay. We had a cozy time.

The location overlooking the fjord was so beautiful. We loved watching the fog roll through. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and trampoline. The room was definitely small for our group of 6 travelers (2 kids and 4 kids under 13).

We were four women traveling together sharing one cottage. These were very cute both from the inside and outside. It was not too large or too small for four. The view outside was also very beautiful. We only spent one night. Compared to other places that we stayed at i had expected maybe some shampoo/soap and coffee/tea. But it was fine for us since we were there for only one night.

If you can get out to the East fjords of Iceland, this is an amazing place to stay. The cabins are two story with a nice kitchenette and very clean and comfortable. The ladder stairs are steep, so it’s not great for really small children or elderly, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The best part are the views of the fjord! So amazing and peaceful. There is also a small laundry room, sauna and hot tub. While we were there we got to play with a baby arctic fox pup that the owners were taking care of. Overall a great stay!

Nous nous faisions une joie d'arriver dans ce petit coin de nature. L'accueil est nul il n'y a personne pour vous accueillir et nous n'avons vu personne du séjour (2 nuits). Le ménage était approximatif à notre arrivée (freezer complètement congelé avec des vieilles glaces à l'intérieur). Et contrairement à ce qui était indiqué le ménage n'est pas fait quotidiennement. Pas de savon, gel douche, shampooing il faut être prévoyant.quant au liquide vaisselle quelques gouttes nous ont sauvé pour les deux jours. La lunette des toilettes était cassée. Bref nous sommes très déçu d'autant que le prix de la nuit est très élevé.

This was the most epic location I have ever stayed in. It is on a little point out into the water and we were surrounded by fog when we arrived, so it was so magical and amazing. Our cottage was awesome and the hot tub in a boat was so nice. Also, having laundry available was a huge plus. We enjoyed seeing the baby arctic fox that hung out by our cottage all evening.

Mais cela restait quand meme un peu. Manquerait du sel peut être aussi :) Mais honnêtement c’etait vraiment un super endroit.

It was a lovely location to stay. The host even offered breakfast for our toddler as nothing was open in the area (it was Good Friday). Beware that the bedrooms are all up very steep stairs. This was tricky for my elderly mother but aside from that we absolutely loved our stay. The hottub and laundry facilities were a great added bonus!

Beautiful place and surroundings! I thought they will be offering breakfast so I wasn’t prepared to make it and we had to go to the next town (only 15-20min drive) as there was nothing available in that area. But otherwise it is great that they have a kitchen and a refrigerator. Sunrise was amazing

we were fortunate to stay two nights here. Super friendly staff and we loved spending time with the resident dog and arctic fox. So quiet and the little cabins are the cutest. We were able to do laundry and just relax after a few busy days. Can't say enough about this cute place
