Our hosts Carole and Ousmane were lovely. The property is homely and very comfortable. We were there for 2 nights and had dinner there on the first night as we were out for the second night. They made us lovely home made pizzas which were thoroughly enjoyed in the outdoors with a beautiful bottle of rose wine. Ousmane is the main cook and we tasted some of his home creations in the form of some chilli sauce and some conserves over breakfast. The location is fantastic if you are visiting Zoo Parc De Beauval as its only 10 mins away. The local town of St Aignan is closeby too which has lovely restaurants and a great place to wander. Definitely recommend Les Mariniers and will come back for sure.

When we booked this accomodation the listing said it had air conditioning, which was something I wanted. It still said that there was air conditioning so we were really disappointed to find that it didn’t have air conditioning. Carole was extremely apologetic and I appreciate that it wasn’t her fault that we arrived during a heat wave but I feel she should have made sure the listing was accurate. We had 3 very sweaty nights there. Aside from that the accommodation was fine for a short stopover but for 3 nights it was a bit cramped and lacking in storage and sitting space. Carole was very friendly and helpful.

Hosts are super nice. Very helpful in every way. We arrived late, not familiar with the local area, they made a phone call to make sure we could find a restaurant to eat. True hospitality.
