No ice readily available. Don’t appreciate an additional $25.00 “refundable” (I sure hope so)damage deposit. Not a fan of the Pantry at all. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff at check in was friendly

Clean, staff that went out of their way in a storm, and all of the features that Candlewood does best. I love the functional kitchen and access to free laundry. This is one of my new favorite locations to stay.

TV satellite was out and no one told us at the time of check in. Hotel was not even close to upgraded and newer looking as in the advertisement photos. Pool area tiny. The surrounding environment was filled with alcoholics and drunk people wondering around like zombies.

New hotel, easy to reach location right off the highway. Hotel was clean. Nothing of note with staff, friendly. Limited amenities, but plenty of food options nearby. Rated 4 stars primarily because we were in a visually impaired room that had 2 lights that came on anytime there was movement or sound. The lightswitch that was supposed to turn it off didnt seem to do anything. The pet fee was also pretty hefty at $75.

A 9 month old facility (Nov 2023). The mgmt is a team working together who enjoy what they do. The place has everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I was so impressed, I joined IHG. Wholehearted recommend this hotel.

New and very clean. Half of staff was helpful. TP was junk and night staff was indifferent to the fact one of outlets TVs didn’t work.

My room was clean, except for the refrigerator had items left from previous occupants. The bathroom was clean, but only had one bathroom towel and no bath mat. Overall the room was okay. Hotel staff was friendly.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The location is perfect—just minutes from McPherson College, Walmart, and plenty of dining options. The building feels fairly new, very clean, and well-maintained. The beds were super comfortable, and I slept great every night. I also appreciated the full kitchen, which is perfect if you enjoy cooking your own meals. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. Overall, I would 100% recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

It was very clean and quiet. Just right for spending one night during my travels.

The overall look and features of the property are nice. Our room was beautifully cleaned by “Atlanta” before our stay. There is no breakfast which is fine and the rooms have a nice kitchenette, bathroom, and closet. They came to “update” our tv during our stay and took away streaming features so hopefully they will be up for future guests soon. The laundry is free but note that my partner had to wipe out the machines because they were dirty. Doesn’t seem the laundry facilities get used much though. The overall service from the front desk and manager are ultimately what will cause us to not come back. Granted it is McPherson, KS, but if you are LGBTQ or POC, know there are cheaper hotels in the area that feel more accepting and welcoming. McPherson Inn being one. Thankfully we are out of this town now!

It was a very clean, relaxing hotel. Just beware if you stay next to the stairs the floor below might turn in a noisy complaint on you because of people running up and down the stairs.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and had a nice stove and other amenities. The only few issues I had was that there was a light flickering all night inside the room. The other was that the bathroom light would randomly turn on.

The room is spacious and spotless! The linens in the kitchen, bathroom and the bedding are perfectly maintained and comfortably soft, one would even say luxurious. The HVAC system is on a central air thermostat, the blackout curtains are properly measured and maintained in the lighting in the bathroom is nothing short of stellar. I made note to the hotel in advancethat my girlfriend and I were celebrating a special anniversary of sorts and the staff exceeded my expectations by offering and placing in the room, chilled on ice with stemware… A bottle of nonalcoholic champagne, celebratorydecorations, and a card congratulating us on our “anniversary”. It was a magnificent surprise, especially for my girlfriend. The staff at both times of check-in and checkout were extremely kind, professional and informational… Providing a pleasant experience in both coming and going from the hotel. This particular stay was only for one night, and was more of a staycation for us, but knowing they are more of an extended-stay brand and have several locations nationally, I will go out of my way to find a Candlewood property in the future. 10 out of 10, recommend! New facility. Very clean. Bed comfortable. We had a suite which was super nice. Was a little tricky figuring out the thermostats. The motion sensor light in the bedroom was very sensitive for someone who likes a darkened room. Would definitely stay there again.

Booked through third party site. Paid for one type of room but it was not available when I arrived. Downgraded rooms with no offer of a discounted rate since I did not get the room I booked and paid for!

Very nice location. Easily accessible to where we needed to be. Very clean, quiet, and price was great.

We stayed for three nights to attend the annual car show on the McPhearson campus, where our grandson is a student in the Automotive Restoration program. This staycation location is new and top-notch. They do not have a breakfast bar, but there are many restaurants very close by. We are looking forward to next year and visiting again.

Unexpected fees, no breakfast, expensive We do rescue work and had a tiny kitten in a carrier that we were transporting for the shelter several states away. They made us pay $75 for the 9 hours we’d even be there.
