We all enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! There was plenty of room to spread out for my husband and I, our kids, and grandkids.. totaling 13. The beds and pillows were very comfy, which is important to us. The basement is a little chillier than the rest of the house but is set up with nice space heaters which made it just fine! The kayaks and canoes were a huge hit as well as the air hockey, foosball, and arcade games. The kids just loved them! The view was our favorite thing! It is Absolutely Beautiful!! The river was very serene and tranquil. The kitchen and its supplies were awesome, with a nice thoughtful touch of ingredients left for us for smores. And the fireplaces were so relaxing. The hosts were so nice. Just a Great place to stay! We will definitely want to stay here again!!

Very clean. Right on the river. Quiet. Pool and hot tub was enjoyed by all. We appreciated the house starter kit; toilet paper, dishwasher pods, hand soap, paper towels, s’mores kit, popcorn machine, etc. Took canoe out on the water. Minutes from Lake George which was a beautiful town to walk around; shop, eat, Steamboat ride, arcades, etc. House was an hour and 15 minutes from Lake Placid with lots of good scenery including the Olympic facilities and Whiteface Mountain. Owners were very responsive and great with communication. An awesome time on our family vacation!

We enjoyed our stay very much! We arrived to a very clean house and were able to move in smoothly. The house is very spacious with enough room for a large family. The kitchen is stocked with many items. The firepit is very nice! The grill worked perfectly. The pool was clean and nice to use, along with the hot tub. The upper deck is big and can hold a good number of people comfortably. There is a refrigerator in the garage that we used for drinks. Overall, I do recomment this house as a nice and comfortable place to rent anytime of the year.

Great, quiet, beautiful location for our big chill weekend. We had 13 of our lifelong lady friends who wanted a location to hang out and talk and laugh and enjoy each other's company. Location accommodated us perfectly. Enough sleeping beds and bathrooms were perfect, fire pit and hot tub were also used (a little cool for the pool). Very close to Lake George for our outings and hikes.

This home was perfect for our anniversary celebration with our family. The house was clean, fully equipped with all kitchen essentials. The location was ideal. We played in the pool and River and relaxed in the hot tub! We went white water rafting and bike rail ride and cruised on Lake George. We had enough towels for the 15 of us. We had a camp fire at night. We just loved this house!!! Thanks so very much!

Wow!! Pool, river with canoe and 4 kayaks. The kitchen was the heartbeat of our time. Very well stocked. The owners thought of everything from coffees to popcorn to snacks. Talk about popcorn. They have a cut popcorn machine with plenty popcorn kernels to pop. However we didn’t use it. This house is perfectly maintained. The owner Niki texted me when the garbage would be picked up and the lawn mowed. Plenty of bedrooms for myself, husband, adult kids and our two grandsons, aged 5 and 7 and my son in laws mother. We ate outside at the picnic table; breakfast, lunches and dinners. The weather was perfect. Lake George is a perfect distance away for bowling or putt putt. We took a boat trip around the lake which included lunch. Our week went too quickly. Would we come back? YES!!!! Thank you Nikki and Bill! We had a memorable time!

What a perfect place for our extended family of 9 adults and 7 children to spend a relaxing week of vacation! The home is located in a quiet neighborhood on the river, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of crowds but is just a short drive to everything Lake George has to offer. The spacious home offered lots of room for the kids to play, including a huge back deck. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you could possibly want or need, even for a group our size. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, dining area and main living area each had lots of comfortable seating. The inground pool was definitely a favorite highlight, as was the hot tub, the fire pit, and the game room. Our hosts were excellent communicators throughout the entire process, were attentive to any questions or needs we had during our stay, and truly went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, too! All of the adults in our party were in agreement that we would book this home again in the future, without hesitation!

We loved this home! We were in town for a wedding and had an extended family of 16 staying in the home. Absolutely loved the view of the river and the kayaks and canoes were an absolute bonus, we used them several times a day, really big highlight in addition to the firepit and the hot tub. The kitchen was so well stocked to make anything you needed, nothing was missing. The three floor layout allowed for us all to spread out without being on top of each other. Check in and check out was simple and the hosts were very communicative. Plenty of driveway space for several cars. Also loved being a 12 minute drive from Lake George. There was simply nothing not to love...and the view, priceless! We highly recommend!!

House was super clean, size was great, owners were super responsive. Not all windows had screens, appliances were a little troublesome, and the air conditioning wasn’t great - extremely hot upstairs, extremely cold in basement. Pool and yard were exceptional. Overall good place to stay and would recommend to others.

Wonderful deck on the river!! Stunning Views! House very spacious and clean. Beds very comfortable! Plenty of places to sit inside & out for 12-15 people. Plenty of parking. Extra refrigerator in garage FAB!! Ten minutes to Lake George. Restaurant in town…George/Henry’s was great! Would recommend better lighting in bedrooms as they were all a bit dark.

Great property. Def needs some TLC. The kitchen sink was difficult to get hot water, the French door handle off the kitchen needs to be replaced. The door hardly closed. The property was spacious, the pool and yard was perfect! The floors are very squeaky and the thermostat was bit strange. It was freezing in basement and warm upstairs. I would recommend that Nicole has the kitchen drawers thoroughly cleaned. I did some when I was there. Nikki was great to work with and her family next door were lovely! The house was perfect for our gathering!

My Dad had always wanted to spend a Christmas in a log cabin. So, the family and I had decided to book this beautiful home a year in advance. During that time, my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer. He did have the treatable kind with a good prognosis. My Dad went through his 7 weeks of radiation and chemo. Unfortunately, he died in his sleep 2 days after his last day of treatment. My whole family decided that we would honor my fathers wish and spend our Christmas in this home because it was what he was looking forward to once he was in his recovery stage. I shared this info with Niki and asked if she would be able to put up a Christmas tree for us and she said she would and would add some other decorations too. Everything was beautiful. It even snowed on Christmas Eve. We had a lovely time. The house was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the communication between myself and Niki were always respectful and quick. The view from the back deck was beautiful. Niki was very accomodating to any and all requests. The location also was vey close to the outlets, grocery stores, restuarants, and the Saratoga Casinos. I would highly recommend this home and owner to any all. This trip was a bittersweet one for our family however Niki truly helped making it a happy and memorable time for me and my family.

We rented the house for a weekend to accomodate a large group and the house was perfect for that purpose. The home was clean and we woke up to amazing mountain and river views. The common areas were spacious and the kitchen was large and had everything we needed for a fun weekend. The only draw back to the house was that you can hear the people walking above you from the upstairs or the main floor which can make for an early rising in the AM. Other than that the home is perfect and I highly recommend.

I felt the house was not clean. The linens (quilts and blankets) had an oder. If you are using a cleaning company you should fire them. Also the outdoor grill was dangerous when lighting it and it was dirty also. I would suggest adding more beach towels. The closets had no hangers and filled with a variety of junk. I would not recommend this house.

We had an awesome time here. Plenty of space in the house and on the property for the whole family to spread out. We were able to take the kayaks down the river (which was calm). Very close to Lake George and trails.

Our stay included 3 families for a ski weekend at Gore Mtn, which is about 25 mins away. The house is also about 10mins from downtown Lake George village. The house is very large and spacious. Lots of room for kids downstairs and adults by the fireplace!

Loved this house to host our family for the weekend. It was perfect with a snowy white background. Hosts were excellent in responding before and during the visit. It had ample space for folks to spread out and the hot tub was an added bonus. We did have older folks and toddlers that are light sleepers and sound travels up and down in this house including creaky floorboards and voices. The listing photos make it seem like the house is secluded, but its located in a neighborhood with houses on either side in close proximity. Overall it was a great stay! Thank you!

The house was wonderful for our group of 10: ages 16 months to 68. Many thoughtful touches throughout - from fixin's for s'mores to bathroom amenities baskets. Ample pool towels, pool and hot tub very clean, lots of fun toys. Kitchen incredibly well stocked. River was higher than normal due to heavy rains with strong currents so kayak/canoe outings were limited but still plenty to do both at the house and in the area. If you need a quiet house, however, this isn't it. You can hear every footstep overhead from the basement and first floor bedrooms. Not a big deal if everyone is on close to the same schedule and it did not ruin our fun at all or keep the kids awake. Wifi great - our son had to work two days and had no problem. View from the deck and opportunity to eat out there is amazing. Highly recommend!!

We rented the house for a weekend to accomodate a large group and the house was perfect for that purpose. The home was clean and we woke up to amazing mountain and river views. The common areas were spacious and the kitchen was large and had everything we needed for a fun weekend. The only draw back to the house was that you can hear the people walking above you from the upstairs or the main floor which can make for an early rising in the AM. The house was absolutely perfect for a large family or group. Everything exceeded our expectations. Communication was easy and the hosts were responsive and quick, provided all info and tips. House comes equipped with everything! We had a large group ranging in age from little kids to grandparents and everyone was comfortable. Very close to all the sights at Lake George, we will definitely be back!

First of all this place is even better than the pictures show. The house sits on a beautiful river and the house itself is just gorgeous! Also being from Florida the 17 plus inches of snow made for an amazing trip for us. It was a magical winter wonderland and we loved every second. Bill and Niki were amazing hosts and made it feel like home for us and our doggies. Love this place! We didnt want to leave! We will definitely be back.

My Dad had always wanted to spend a Christmas in a log cabin. So, the family and I had decided to book this beautiful home a year in advance. During that time, my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer. He did have the treatable kind with a good prognosis. My Dad went through his 7 weeks of radiation and chemo. Unfortunately, he died in his sleep 2 days after his last day of treatment. My whole family decided that we would honor my fathers wish and spend our Christmas in this home because it was what he was looking forward to once he was in his recovery stage. I shared this info with Niki and asked if she would be able to put up a Christmas tree for us and she said she would and would add some other decorations too. Everything was beautiful. It even snowed on Christmas Eve. We had a lovely time. The house was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the communication between myself and Niki were always respectful and quick. The view from the back deck was beautiful. Niki was very accomodating to any and all requests. The location also was vey close to the outlets, grocery stores, restuarants, and the Saratoga Casinos. I would highly recommend this home and owner to any all. This trip was a bittersweet one for our family however Niki truly helped making it a happy and memorable time for me and my family.

Wow!! Pool, river with canoe and 4 kayaks. The kitchen was the heartbeat of our time. Very well stocked. The owners thought of everything from coffees to popcorn to snacks. Talk about popcorn. They have a cut popcorn machine with plenty popcorn kernels to pop. However we didn’t use it. This house is perfectly maintained. The owner Niki texted me when the garbage would be picked up and the lawn mowed. Plenty of bedrooms for myself, husband, adult kids and our two grandsons, aged 5 and 7 and my son in laws mother. We ate outside at the picnic table; breakfast, lunches and dinners. The weather was perfect. Lake George is a perfect distance away for bowling or putt putt. We took a boat trip around the lake which included lunch. Our week went too quickly. Would we come back? YES!!!! Thank you Nikki and Bill! We had a memorable time!

We appreciated the house starter kit; toilet paper, dishwasher pods, hand soap, paper towels, s’mores kit, popcorn machine, etc. Took canoe out on the water. Minutes from Lake George which was a beautiful town to walk around; shop, eat, Steamboat ride, arcades, etc. House was an hour and 15 minutes from Lake Placid with lots of good scenery including the Olympic facilities and Whiteface Mountain. Our stay included 3 families for a ski weekend at Gore Mtn, which is about 25 mins away. The house is also about 10mins from downtown Lake George village. The house is very large and spacious. Lots of room for kids downstairs and adults by the fireplace!

Great, quiet, beautiful location for our big chill weekend. We had 13 of our lifelong lady friends who wanted a location to hang out and talk and laugh and enjoy each other's company. Location accommodated us perfectly. Enough sleeping beds and bathrooms were perfect, fire pit and hot tub were also used (a little cool for the pool). Very close to Lake George for our outings and hikes.

We had a wonderful time at the log house. It was well situated close to Gore Mountain. We also had a collegestudent at Union College in Schenectady so he could easily join us. The neighborhood was mixed with many different kinds of homes but looking out the back of the house provided great privacy and a beautiful setting. Niki’s place was spacious, clean, well-appointed, accurate to the listing and and overall perfect destination for our gathering of nine people ranging from infant to 80 years old. Access to Gore Mountain in 25 minutes and Lake George in less time made it the ideal spot for our family gathering. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots/pans, and basic amenities to help cooking at home for our crowd.

We all enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! There was plenty of room to spread out for my husband and I, our kids, and grandkids.. totaling 13. The beds and pillows were very comfy, which is important to us. The basement is a little chillier than the rest of the house but is set up with nice space heaters which made it just fine! The kayaks and canoes were a huge hit as well as the air hockey, foosball, and arcade games. The kids just loved them! The view was our favorite thing! It is Absolutely Beautiful!! The river was very serene and tranquil. The kitchen and its supplies were awesome, with a nice thoughtful touch of ingredients left for us for smores. And the fireplaces were so relaxing. The hosts were so nice. Just a Great place to stay! We will definitely want to stay here again!!

The house was perfect for the 9 of us, we did not want to leave Sunday! The kitchen had everything we needed. The space was very nice in a big party. You didn’t feel crowded. The pool was an awesome add on. Saturday afternoon the weather was a perfect temperature so we were able to take advantage! The location is great. Not to close to Lake George but your not in a tourist town. Ubers are available to grab you if you want to go have some drink in town. We have talked about coming back yearly but with all our families! Definitely would recommend

We enjoyed our stay very much! We arrived to a very clean house and were able to move in smoothly. The house is very spacious with enough room for a large family. The kitchen is stocked with many items. The firepit is very nice! The grill worked perfectly. The pool was clean and nice to use, along with the hot tub. The upper deck is big and can hold a good number of people comfortably. There is a refrigerator in the garage that we used for drinks. Overall, I do recomment this house as a nice and comfortable place to rent anytime of the year.

They have a cut popcorn machine with plenty popcorn kernels to pop. However we didn’t use it. This house is perfectly maintained. The owner Niki texted me when the garbage would be picked up and the lawn mowed. Plenty of bedrooms for myself, husband, adult kids and our two grandsons, aged 5 and 7 and my son in laws mother. We ate outside at the picnic table; breakfast, lunches and dinners. The weather was perfect. Lake George is a perfect distance away for bowling or putt putt. We took a boat trip around the lake which included lunch. Our week went too quickly. Would we come back? YES!!!! Thank you Nikki and Bill! We had a memorable time!

Niki’s place was spacious, clean, well-appointed, accurate to the listing and and overall perfect destination for our gathering of nine people ranging from infant to 80 years old. Access to Gore Mountain in 25 minutes and Lake George in less time made it the ideal spot for our family gathering. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots/pans, and basic amenities to help cooking at home for our crowd.

Very close to Lake George and restaurants / things to do. The host responds very quickly and is extremely nice. The view of the river behind the home is very pretty. Everyone has a great time.
