The home was wonderful for a quiet getaway my husband and I really needed. The view was beautiful. We enjoyed the air hockey and ping pong table. The pool and beach were delightful especially on the hot days. The host thought of everything you would need during the stay. We will be back.

We were so glad that we booked a house with enclosed porch since it rained almost everyday we were there. My daughter and DIL enjoyed the paddle boards and the lake in spite of the weather. Even though the house is not baby proof we still had a great time with our grandson.

This was our first time staying in Lake of the Woods and this was a great property to do it from! It was super convenient to the entrance area, well appointed and you can't beat the sprawling lake views. We spent so much time out on the dock fishing and having evening fires. My husband was even able to work thanks to the office set up with monitor and printer. The hosts were kind and responsive.

We loved the fantastic view of the lake from the kitchen & living room in the morning with coffee and throughout the day! Very clean, comfy beds & well equipped kitchen. There's a theatre & game room downstairs (with another full bath) and full view of the lake through sliders. So nice to have the Adirondack chairs on the dock, shame the weather was cold! We would love to come again soon!

We had a very nice week. The house was big enough for 7 adults. Just 2 things. Would have been nice to have a third paddle board and the water advisories were a concern. I recommend this vacation house. Owners quick to reply.

Everything about this rental was perfect. The house was immaculate. All the drawers and cabinets are labeled so you don't have to search for anything. The kids had a ball using the kayaks and paddle boards. We fished from the dock. The kids especially liked the pool and the beach by the club house. We had a fabulous time at this lovely lake house. The home is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We all thoroughly enjoyed taking out the kayaks, floating in tubes, swimming in the lake, and just relaxing on the deck with the beautiful view of the lake! We had an amazing time at Al and Marcia's wonderful lakefront home. Everything was as described. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We spent much of our time on the upper deck looking at the view of the lake and had most of our meals there. There are so many options of things to do in the house: kayaks, games, air hockey, ping pong, movies and so many books! Early mornings down on the dock drinking coffee was perfect and then evenings by the outdoor firepit. This house sits on a smaller lake and we had access to the larger lake nearby, so we even had a beach day at Clubhouse beach. I can't say enough about this house and the communication with the owners. Everything was wonderful!

We couldn't have had a better time. I went with 3 girlfriends and we were so comfortable and had so much fun. They have thought of EVERYTHING and have supplies for whatever you could need. The kayaks were amazing, we used the fire pit each night, and being on the lake was beautiful. We loved hanging out in the basement with the game space and projector. The beds are very comfy and the space is very clean. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and so cute. Can't recommend this place enough. The hosts were also very responsive and very kind.

The property was very clean and a perfect place to spend a few days with friends and our dogs. Despite the heat wave, we were able to stay cool between the kitchen views and the tree covered deck. We also enjoyed exploring the lake.

We had an amazing time during our stay! The house was even better than described, spotlessly clean and had a beautiful view! Al was exceptional to work with and went above and beyond to be accommodating, even going so far as to send me a map of handicap accessible walking trails that we could take my father-in-law to with his walker. All of the little touches, such as the snacks and water to welcome us and little chocolates on our pillows, make this property stand out even more! My family enjoyed the excellent fishing, kayaking, relaxing, and quality family time. This is a little piece of paradise to which we hope to return!

Location on the lake was great. You do need a GPS/Map once in the Resort because there are a number of streets to turn onto. Overall place was very clean. Beach theme decor. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some. Ample bath towels. Beds were super comfortable with memory foam mattresses. The deck was a treat to have your morning tea/coffee while listening to the birds and ducks. And the patio at night to sit and relax without getting damp because the deck was above. A little extra touch of handmade bows and roses on places you wouldn't expect.

We felt welcome in the Lake of the Woods neighborhood. Our host Al, was helpful by providing information about the community, and responsive if we had questions. The lake is quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed morning kayaking and the beauty of the lake. The kids enjoyed swimming at the beach (the big lake) and we even got a chance to play at the community pool. The house is spacious and comfortable, and provided everything we needed. The beds were super comfy! My kids really enjoyed the air hockey table and the projector movies. The collection of books and board games is full of variety, something for everyone! I would love to come back and stay again, the house is charming and super hosts.

Strategically located to explore many battlefields in the area - topped it off with a final trip to Appomattox Court House. It was great to end each day back at Janet’s lovely home to rest and relax. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront house. Al was very responsive to all my questions. He and his wife attended to all the details that would make guests comfortable. Features that stood out included the cleanliness of the house, the view of the lake from so many areas of the house, the wildlife on the lake, and the opportunity to kayak and fish from the property itself.

We had a wonderful time at this lake house and found the home to be beautiful and accommodating. The indoor and outdoor spaces made this a perfect get away spot! Al is an excellent host and responded promptly and was very helpful. We highly recommend!

We felt welcome in the Lake of the Woods neighborhood. Our host Al, was helpful by providing information about the community, and responsive if we had questions. The lake is quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed morning kayaking and the beauty of the lake. The kids enjoyed swimming at the beach (the big lake) and we even got a chance to play at the community pool. The house is spacious and comfortable, and provided everything we needed. The beds were super comfy! My kids really enjoyed the air hockey table and the projector movies. The collection of books and board games is full of variety, something for everyone! I would love to come back and stay again, the house is charming and super hosts.

This was our first time staying in Lake of the Woods and this was a great property to do it from! It was super convenient to the entrance area, well appointed and you can't beat the sprawling lake views. We spent so much time out on the dock fishing and having evening fires. My husband was even able to work thanks to the office set up with monitor and printer. The hosts were kind and responsive.

Strategically located to explore many battlefields in the area - topped it off with a final trip to Appomattox Court House. It was great to end each day back at Janet’s lovely home to rest and relax. We had an amazing time at Al and Marcia's wonderful lakefront home. Everything was as described. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We spent much of our time on the upper deck looking at the view of the lake and had most of our meals there. There are so many options of things to do in the house: kayaks, games, air hockey, ping pong, movies and so many books! Early mornings down on the dock drinking coffee was perfect and then evenings by the outdoor firepit. This house sits on a smaller lake and we had access to the larger lake nearby, so we even had a beach day at Clubhouse beach. I can't say enough about this house and the communication with the owners. Everything was wonderful!

Location on the lake was great. You do need a GPS/Map once in the Resort because there are a number of streets to turn onto. Overall place was very clean. Beach theme decor. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some. Ample bath towels. Beds were super comfortable with memory foam mattresses. The deck was a treat to have your morning tea/coffee while listening to the birds and ducks. And the patio at night to sit and relax without getting damp because the deck was above. A little extra touch of handmade bows and roses on places you wouldn't expect.

Beautiful property right on the lake! You can sit out on the deck right off the house and enjoy shade/sun and there is a second deck right by the lake to sit. There is a beautiful picture window with a gorgeous view to the lake! The owners thought of a lot of nice little touches like room darkening shades if you want sleep in a little bit! Thank you, Al and Marcia for a great stay. The owner was also very responsive and check-in and check out was easy!

Such a lovely stay! So many things thought of, like flashlights handy by the door for nighttime dog walks. All the cozy blankets for staying warm while lounging on the sofa, the Christmas lights around the windows for a festive feel. Loved the game table, which we brought upstairs for a puzzle.
