Adirondack Cabin Near Whiteface Mountain Resort!

If you’re looking for a tranquil mountain experience that offers high end amenities and is dog and family friendly, this is the perfect home, nestled at the front door to Whiteface Mountain and moments from any ADK adventure. Being Wisconsin flat landers, my family got the Adirondack experience we were hoping for with so much more. A spacious home throughout, fully stocked kitchen, whimsical features like several lofts and bunk beds, and luxurious features that really create a relaxing vacation getaway. You feel like the only people on the mountain in this wooded lot, yet situated a short, scenic drive from Lake Placid, Keene, Saranac Lake and other attractions. We had fun hiking some of the 6er Challenge (Baker, St. Regis, Haystack), so we have a reason to return and would love to stay at the Black Haus. Thank you for your lovely hospitality!

Great place to stay for our family ski weekend!

Our family enjoyed this home for our ski vacation. It is within a 8-10 minute drive to Whiteface. They have a mud room/ laundry room to store skis on wall clips. The washer and dryer was great for washing and drying ski gear. The sauna barrel was a nice touch as well. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was clean overall. We will return again when we come back to the area.

We had the best time at the cabin. Plenty of room for everyone, cute mountain decor. We absolutely loved the fireplace and fire pit and the dog friendly features (crate, beds, toys, bowls). Cabin is conveniently close to Whiteface mountain and short drive to Lake Placid. Hosts wee responsive and very accommodating. We would come back again!

We had a wonderful stay! The home is beautiful, and well stocked, The hosts were wonderful to commumicate with and they provided all the neccessities. Looking forward to our next trip.
