The property was a great location for the WGI events at University of Dayton Arena, Hobart Arena in Troy and the Nutter Center at Wright State University. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

We had a great experience staying at the cottage. Traveling with 8 month old twins and a 3 yr old is not easy, but the hosts made it very simple for us. They had a pack n play, portable crib, and high chair for us. The house was extremely clean, and in the perfect location. The instructions given by the host was clear and easy to follow. We will definitely consider staying here in the future.

They had a pack n play, portable crib, and high chair for us. The house was extremely clean, and in the perfect location. The instructions given by the host was clear and easy to follow. What an impressive property! The manager was proactive in communicating. Amenities were well appointed. Supplies provided were above and beyond typical VRBOs, including plenty of paper products, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, extra towels, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in shower. The cottage was charming, quiet, nice neighborhood. We were two families of cousins meeting up, adults and kids under age 12, and there was plenty of space. Baby gear provided was so nice, high chair, crib, and toys! We enjoyed walking to nearby brewery for dinner. WiFi was good. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Our family stayed for a weekend of soccer tournaments and it was absolutely perfect! They really thought of everything and our stay couldn't have been better! Our standards have been raised due to this place ☺️ and we will rebook for the next one in this area!

This house was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and was in a great location. It was very central to anywhere that we needed to go, while we were visiting. We will definitely stay here again, when we come to visit our family and friends. After we had left the property, the owner let us know they found one of our sweatshirts and they were kind enough to allow us back to pick it up! We are so grateful for that. Any contact we had with the owner prior to, during and after the stay, has been very prompt and kind. We loved this space and can’t wait to stay again.

Charming and cozy house in fairly quiet neighborhood. Was a great fit for a family reunion, housing two sets of grandparents and a young family with a toddler. We liked that parking was in back of house through short alleyway, made loading/ off-loading easier and felt less exposed. Accessing the house was seamless and convenient for a large group with the keyless lock, mudroom was perfect for shluffing off all our shoes and coats. Kitchen was beautiful and had so many amenities: a multi port usb charging station, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, lots of storage and room to work including an island. Adjacent full sized washer and dryer were clean and provided washing soap. Lovely Dayton-inspired decor filled the entire house but the dining and living rooms and the under-the-stairs playroom were the stand outs while still being comfortable. We all spent many hours communing in these spaces. All upstairs bedrooms were also beautifully decorated, cozy and quiet. The master bedroom had a travel baby cot and roll away mini crib to choose from as well as a high chair. The bathrooms (full bath upstairs and half bath down stairs) were clean and well supplied with facial makeup wipes, towels, and lots of hooks. One note is that the stairs are narrower and wood so a little more trepidatious for a toddler, older folk with bad knees, and socks. The owner/host was extremely responsive and helpful to any requests. We loved our stay and we’d definitely stay here again.

Our family highly recommend the Carrolin cottage. Our family of six fit perfectly in this home, including our 2 1/2 girls, and 11 month old. Property was very clean and had everything we needed to cook a basic meal. Area is quiet and beds were comfortable. I appreciated the extra blanket in each bedroom as I tend to be cold at night. We loved the character of the house and would not hesitate to stay again the next time we're in Dayton.

We really enjoyed staying in this home for my son’s UD graduation. My family and my mom loved this warm and cozy home. It was very clean, adorably decorated with plenty of extras to make your stay effortless. The owners have thought of everything. The location is perfect for UD and other Dayton area events. Everyone said they had a great night’s sleep - comfy beds and pillows!

The house is very nice. The furnishings are high end and put together well. I walked the neighborhood and it is amazing. Borders the Dayton Country Club.... very cool. Take a walk and check it out for yourself.

This home is the most thoughtful and lovely property we’ve ever rented! The furnishings and decor are so tasteful, they have thought of everything to stick it with for guests and then some. It’s a charming historic property with lots of Dayton memorabilia. Our family was very comfortable here. I would only note that the stairs are steep due to the age of the home, as a consideration for mobility status when deciding to stay. All bedrooms are upstairs. It’s close to everything we needed, and there’s a great park for running.

Stayed at the property with my cousin and his wife and grandson. We had a very pleasant stay and the house was just perfect. The communication and check in was very easy. Our host responded promptly to our questions and concerns. It is a very nice house that accommodated five adults and an almost one years old. We spend our first Thanksgiving out of state! We love to cook and that kitchen was good enough to recreate our Thanksgiving just like home. We borrow son pots and things from our son who is station in Dayton, OH. The only downside of this property the lack of another shower. However, we managed to take turns and plan accordingly for our activities. The location was perfect, few minutes from downtown Dayton and other amenities. So Thank You!!!

What an impressive property! The manager was proactive in communicating. Amenities were well appointed. Supplies provided were above and beyond typical VRBOs, including plenty of paper products, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, extra towels, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in shower. The cottage was charming, quiet, nice neighborhood. We were two families of cousins meeting up, adults and kids under age 12, and there was plenty of space. Accommodations were very cozy and communication was easy and super helpful. We loved the allention to detail andl the nostalgic Dayton historical touches. Our family had a wonderful time and definitely recommend to anyone wanting a lovely stay while in town!

This house was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and was in a great location. It was very central to anywhere that we needed to go, while we were visiting. We will definitely stay here again, when we come to visit our family and friends. After we had left the property, the owner let us know they found one of our sweatshirts and they were kind enough to allow us back to pick it up! We are so grateful for that. Any contact we had with the owner prior to, during and after the stay, has been very prompt and kind. We loved this space and can’t wait to stay again.

Charming and cozy house in fairly quiet neighborhood. Was a great fit for a family reunion, housing two sets of grandparents and a young family with a toddler. We liked that parking was in back of house through short alleyway, made loading/ off-loading easier and felt less exposed. Accessing the house was seamless and convenient for a large group with the keyless lock, mudroom was perfect for shluffing off all our shoes and coats. Kitchen was beautiful and had so many amenities: a multi port usb charging station, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, lots of storage and room to work including an island. Adjacent full sized washer and dryer were clean and provided washing soap. Lovely Dayton-inspired decor filled the entire house but the dining and living rooms and the under-the-stairs playroom were the stand outs while still being comfortable. We all spent many hours communing in these spaces. All upstairs bedrooms were also beautifully decorated, cozy and quiet. The master bedroom had a travel baby cot and roll away mini crib to choose from as well as a high chair. The bathrooms (full bath upstairs and half bath down stairs) were clean and well supplied with facial makeup wipes, towels, and lots of hooks. One note is that the stairs are narrower and wood so a little more trepidatious for a toddler, older folk with bad knees, and socks. The owner/host was extremely responsive and helpful to any requests. We loved our stay and we’d definitely stay here again.

The property was a great location for the WGI events at University of Dayton Arena, Hobart Arena in Troy and the Nutter Center at Wright State University. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

We really enjoyed staying in this home for my son’s UD graduation. My family and my mom loved this warm and cozy home. It was very clean, adorably decorated with plenty of extras to make your stay effortless. The owners have thought of everything. The location is perfect for UD and other Dayton area events. Everyone said they had a great night’s sleep - comfy beds and pillows!

The communication and check in was very easy. Our host responded promptly to our questions and concerns. It is a very nice house that accommodated five adults and an almost one years old. We spend our first Thanksgiving out of state! We love to cook and that kitchen was good enough to recreate our Thanksgiving just like home. We borrow son pots and things from our son who is station in Dayton, OH. The only downside of this property the lack of another shower. However, we managed to take turns and plan accordingly for our activities. The location was perfect, few minutes from downtown Dayton and other amenities. So Thank You!!!

Our family highly recommend the Carrolin cottage. Our family of six fit perfectly in this home, including our 2 1/2 girls, and 11 month old. This house has absolutely everything you for a family: crib, pack and play, high chair, kids dishes/ utensils and playroom too! There is a backyard and easy walk to two parks, coffee shops, ice cream, trails and more! The hosts were very kind and responsive. We will definitely return every time we visit Dayton!

Property was very clean and had everything we needed to cook a basic meal. Area is quiet and beds were comfortable. I appreciated the extra blanket in each bedroom as I tend to be cold at night. We loved the character of the house and would not hesitate to stay again the next time we're in Dayton.

My friends and I stayed two nights for our UD Reunion. The beds were comfy and the decor was so well done; we loved the history. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed. We had a lovely stay.

The property is adorable, super clean with a nice aesthetic and all the amenities you could need, including a first aid kit, children’s toys, high chair, crib/pack n play, plenty of blankets, pillows, and kitchen supplies. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to return a forgotten stuffy. Really fantastic long weekend and experience here!!!! 5 stars!!

We went to Dayton for my son's 2nd birthday to see the planes at the air force museum. This house definitely did not disappoint! There is a small room with kid toys that my son enjoyed! A nice touch was the high chair (if you need one), but he enjoyed sitting on the bar stools at the table which put him at just the right height for the table. There is also kid plates, cups, and silverware. This was the most kid-friendly house we've stayed at. Our plane landed at 12pm and our son's naptime is usually around 12pm. The host was kind enough to let us check in at 12pm. We ended up having an hour drive from the Cincinnati airport, so we got there at 1pm. But being able to immediately go to the house for him to sleep was a complete game changer! Otherwise, he would've been cranky the rest of the day. If you have young kids that want to climb the stairs, just watch them closely. They are kind of steep. It'd be nice if there was a baby gate at the top and bottom. But other than that, our stay here was wonderful. If we ever catch ourselves in Dayton again, we will definitely try to stay here again!
