Good value for a mid week break. Room was seemed newly decorated and was spacious and warm. Only a handful of guests which did not help the mabiance. The Bar is not open - closed for renovation - which was a pity. Bar food was served in the dining room/ restauant. Strange pricing in the “restaurant” area- fixed price if you order a dinner and priced per item if you order from the bar food menu which is the same menu as the "restautant" . Cheaper to order per item, but one of the staff insisted those eating from the bar menu would have to sit in a separate part of the dining room. Odd in room which seats about 120 and had about 5-10 diners in total. Dinner was adquate, but could not be decribed as fine dining. Breakfast was fine. Although a credit card was sought for extras, charges to the room are not permitted. There is a leisure centre of which we did not avail. Overall a comfortable room and stay, close to a quirky and attractive village. The main site are the cascades or "falls".

The Falls Hotel is a quaint spot in Ennistimon. The walk around the property is beautiful. Very close to Doolin, if you want to go to Cliffs of Moher, it is an excellent spot if you have a car. The indoor pool was so nice. Bring a swim cap if you want to use it though. Very warm and hardly anyone there. Nice jacuzzi indoors and outdoors as well. Breakfast was nice, buffet style with many options. Staff were friendly. Room was nice, not too modern but sufficient. All in all a pleasurable stay. Try Clyde's restaurant in town just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Very beautiful setting with great views of the falls. Rooms are nice size but lack ventilation except for 1 small window opening which made the room stuff and too warm. Convenient to walk to town and a short drive to the Cliffs of Moher visitor center. Grounds are well maintained. Very well equipped fitness center and nice 20 meter pool.

I wish we booked this stay longer it was amazing. The breakfast was like none other for complimentary food! Our room was great and the beds were comfy. It’s a tad older building, but still amazing. The dinner was also great and the seafood chowder was to die for. The spa was luxurious and the pool is huge. There is so much to do just at the location alone. Outside is also beautiful and you can just take a nice leisurely stroll by the water. Nestled back on its own drive this lace was very secluded and had lots of parking.

Fabulous! We took the family for a 1 night break before the Christmas madness and it was just the tonic we needed. Spacious rooms with comfy beds and a breakfast to please everybody. We made 2 visits the pool which was the highlight for our kids aged 4,6 & 8:)

Excellent breakfast with many elections. Quite impressive buffet. Shower in the room ho-hum. Stream a bit weak but a nice experience. Parking was super easy, the front desk staff was amazing, breakfast menu was great. The food tasted fantastic. Once ordered, it came out quickly. The only downside was that the tables were not cleaned after people left so new folks finding tables at breakfast was really tough. There was a point one day where there literally wasn’t one clean table in the entire, large, downstairs area, yet there were only a handful of parties eating. We were glad we were seated already. My other concern was a bit more disturbing but also easy to fix if somebody pays attention to this; the breakfast AND dinner staff would bus tables, using their bare hands to pick dirty napkins and dirty silverware off used plates etc, and then without hand sanitizer or ANYTHING, would grab new silverware and set new tables. This absolutely grossed me out and was alarming since I noticed the occasional guest coughing, sneezing or wiping their nose with their napkins. I couldn’t begin to imagine what germs were passed along and was kind of horrified. The room was nice. The views were great and the walking path and spa was lovely. I’d still stay again.

There was a wedding reception that was taking place on 21.09. I called reception at 12am to see if there was a noise ordinance and the gentleman said no but the reception would end at 2am..so much for a good night sleep with music and a dj blasting! Also at 7am a delivery truck unloaded directly underneath our room #800. We were really looking forward to staying at the hotel for our anniversary and it was a nightmare with less than 3 hours of sleep!!!! Very disappointed.

We were a group with 3 double rooms. 2 double rooms were great with high pressure showers. My room of 616 (an unrequested 3 bed family room)had terrible shower pressure. I went to front desk and maintenance was sent. The hotel just acted like I had to live with low pressure and I did. I also had scaffolding outside my window. --John

Everything was great. I just would not recommend room 445 as it’s next to the Men’s toilet. We didn’t get to sleep until 2am. I wish they would have told us beforehand. When I mentioned it upon checkout they didn’t offer a partial refund or any form of recompense. A little disappointed for a hotel of that level.

We were given a room in what felt like the attic. Although spacious, the only window offered a view of the roof. There were many stairs to climb with all of our luggage, as the lift didn’t go all the way to the level we were on. Thankfully we are quite able, I can’t imagine being a senior and trying to navigate the narrow steps. I’m not sure how it’s determined who gets placed up there, but I feel that for the price we paid for the room we should have had a bit of a view and not had to carry our luggage up stairs. Other than that, the rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was good and plentiful.

It's an old fashioned hotel. If you feel physically limited be sure to tell them in advance; my room required stairs as the lift did not reach that level. The bathroom was fully modern. The breakfast was excellent, with kitchen orders as well as buffet. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The bar has live entertainment. The ground are spectacular, with a view of the river and falls.

No fridge, no AC, no ice, staff treated me like an idiot because I asked about these items. The bar manager changed some broken lights in room.. Room is really outdated needs lamps, new iron board and new Iron. Needs some sort if ventilation in the room

I found the front office and bar staff unfriendly. Smiling, saying please and thank you seemed too much of an effort for them. They looked like they hated their hobs. The restaurant staff were much better. The shower was only lukewarm.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Large and very clean rooms. Went to the Dylan Thomas Bar for dinner and the roast turkey was amazing. There is ample free parking and amazing views too. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful grounds and views of the falls, nice walking trail. This place has so much potential but needs to be maintained better and updated. Staff is inflexible and not friendly. The heat in our room was turned on our last night for some reason and we had no control to turn it off. We asked the front desk, they said they would turn it off but never did. We roasted. The restaurant has beautiful views, the food at dinner is pretty good, at breakfast not so great, but again the staff just seems like they don’t want to be there - just do the bare minimum.

This place was such an amazing surprise! We booked this last minute and not on our planned travel path. We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The staff was fabulous and helpful. A lovely, grand old hotel, that is showing her age just a wee little bit. My room wasn’t anything special, but it was very comfortable and clean, and the hotel’s location can’t be beat. After all, it’s only a couple hundred meters from the high street, and it’s right along the river near the falls and walking paths… and donkeys!

Very beautiful setting with great views of the falls. Rooms are nice size but lack ventilation except for 1 small window opening which made the room stuff and too warm. Convenient to walk to town and a short drive to the Cliffs of Moher visitor center. Grounds are well maintained. Very well equipped fitness center and nice 20 meter pool.

I love this giant hotel in the heart of Ennistymon. I was able to park easily and walk easily all over the small town. There are amazing views from the 3rd and 4th floor dining halls at breakfast and dinner over this amazing 11-level waterfall that is a major highlight of the town, and a walking path from the hotel to it. I thought the staff was warm and welcoming. I did not have a chance to use the amenities while I was there, but I really enjoyed all the many breakfast options, especially the charcuterie meats, the giant pot of porridge, and fresh fruits every day!

The hotel is situated right next to the falls. The property is beautiful and there is plenty of parking. The room was spacious and well appointed. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and had dinner at the bar. Both meals were very good and offered stunning views of the property and the falls.

Fantastic location right in the centre of town, but tucked away from the main street with beautiful view across the cascades. Hot tub and pool area was very clean and well run, room was generously sized and breakfast was really great with a fantastic selection of fresh and tasty food. Great hotel, highly recommended.

The hotel is not likely in the photo we see on the website. The rooms are very outdated, they are doing some renovation and they should put us in the another parte of the hotel. It was my 50th birthday and im very disappointed. Food was awful. I was sick all night. I got roast beef and it was dry and hard.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Large and very clean rooms. Went to the Dylan Thomas Bar for dinner and the roast turkey was amazing. There is ample free parking and amazing views too. Definitely recommend.

Good value for a mid week break. Room was seemed newly decorated and was spacious and warm. Only a handful of guests which did not help the mabiance. The Bar is not open - closed for renovation - which was a pity. Bar food was served in the dining room/ restauant. Strange pricing in the “restaurant” area- fixed price if you order a dinner and priced per item if you order from the bar food menu which is the same menu as the "restautant" . Cheaper to order per item, but one of the staff insisted those eating from the bar menu would have to sit in a separate part of the dining room. Odd in room which seats about 120 and had about 5-10 diners in total. Dinner was adquate, but could not be decribed as fine dining. Breakfast was fine. Although a credit card was sought for extras, charges to the room are not permitted. There is a leisure centre of which we did not avail. Overall a comfortable room and stay, close to a quirky and attractive village. The main site are the cascades or "falls".

Parking was super easy, the front desk staff was amazing, breakfast menu was great. The food tasted fantastic. Once ordered, it came out quickly. The only downside was that the tables were not cleaned after people left so new folks finding tables at breakfast was really tough. There was a point one day where there literally wasn’t one clean table in the entire, large, downstairs area, yet there were only a handful of parties eating. We were glad we were seated already. My other concern was a bit more disturbing but also easy to fix if somebody pays attention to this; the breakfast AND dinner staff would bus tables, using their bare hands to pick dirty napkins and dirty silverware off used plates etc, and then without hand sanitizer or ANYTHING, would grab new silverware and set new tables. This absolutely grossed me out and was alarming since I noticed the occasional guest coughing, sneezing or wiping their nose with their napkins. I couldn’t begin to imagine what germs were passed along and was kind of horrified. The room was nice. The views were great and the walking path and spa was lovely. I’d still stay again.

I wish we booked this stay longer it was amazing. The breakfast was like none other for complimentary food! Our room was great and the beds were comfy. It’s a tad older building, but still amazing. The dinner was also great and the seafood chowder was to die for. The spa was luxurious and the pool is huge. There is so much to do just at the location alone. Outside is also beautiful and you can just take a nice leisurely stroll by the water. Nestled back on its own drive this lace was very secluded and had lots of parking.
