Eagles Nest on Lay Lake: Firepit & Stunning Views

Absolutely the most well appointed, clean home. Truly not a single suggestion to improve our stay. My FIL owned and operated a Bed n Breakfast for 35 years. He could only say,” Spectacular”. Our youngest guest who is German and travels a lot said it is her favorite home she has ever stayed in. It was so perfect that we are for sure returning and recommending The Eagles Nest.( but not until we secure a second visit . Scott was attentive and so generous with his replies. The property is beautifully maintained and sunsets on the lake are incredible! The home is fully stocked with anything you'd need to make a great vacation. Scott was very responsive and reached out to make sure our stay was going well. We were a group of friends celebrating a wedding, but I could easily see this being a fantastic place to bring a family. Check-in was very smooth and check-out requests were very reasonable.

Beautiful house, great communication with the host, perfect location. house had everything my group needed and the host was even willing to go out of his way to get more lake equipment for us, which was greatly appreciated.

Eagles Nest is such a beautiful and welcoming place. I was surprised to see a Christmas tree and holiday decorations out. The view was spectacular. In addition, to the spacious house, the kitchen was perfect for being the center of the house. The warmth I felt from all the details made the wedding weekend even more special with our family and friends who came to share our special occasion,

We had a family wedding at a nearby venue and this house was conveniently located. We had several extended family members stay with us and this house was perfect with two king bedrooms and the large bunk room. Although our stay wasn’t just for relaxing, the house would have been perfect for a lake vacation. Everything was clean and exactly as pictured.
