Cozy Cabin with an amazing deck and beautiful seasonal views of Lake Fort Smith!

This cabin is in a beautiful, wooded setting. It is very quiet except for all the bird songs. It has wonderful outdoor spaces but remember to use bug spray. I had a tick crawl up my leg when sitting by the firepit. The inside was quaint and clean with all the linens, pillows and paper products needed. There is even soap and dryer sheets to do laundry. I wish I would have noticed the dryer handle was missing before I put in laundry, but my husband was able to get the door open with a wire coat hanger. This place has an amazingly comfortable bed. I'm glad I had a sleep mask with me though, because the air/heater is right above the bed and the on button lights up with a blue light when it is on. It did not bother my husband, but it was right above my head. Good TV reception and nice grill, bring charcoal. The only thing I wish I would have prepared better for was cooking. I needed some extra cookware. There was not a strainer or a pot big enough to cook a pot of pasta all at the same time, so I had to cook in batches. I didn't think to bring containers with lids for leftover food storage either. I would also bring foil and my own new sponge for cleaning dishes. The hot tub and hammock made the side porch even better. The view of the lake coming down the drive is beautiful, but you cannot see the lake from the cabin when the trees are leafed out. The gravel drive, especially after rain, is rough. I would stay here again but would like to be closer to Devil's Den.

My husband and I drove from Dallas to enjoy the autumnal foliage in a beautiful and private location - this property exceeded our expectations. We delighted in the peaceful sounds of nature while sitting around the fire pit underneath the stars. The views were absolutely gorgeous, the Ozark forest was just steps away and the cabin was very cute and cozy with everything we needed. We 100% recommend this gem and we plan to be repeat guests.

Great place near beautiful parks and trails. The cabin was cozy and well appointed. The rear deck (with hot tub, grill and hammock) was a nice plus after long hikes. Our soar muscles and big appetites approved. There was a sufficient selection of cookware in the kitchen, a great table/island and good counter space, a leather couch and TV, a comfy king sized bed, and a good sized bathroom with stackable laundry machines and plenty of towels. We were very impressed by how efficiently everything was laid out, for maximum function and comfort. The directions for check in and checkout were easy to follow, and the owner left a nice assortment of grab and go snacks in a basket on the kitchen table. I'm a sucker for Oreos and Rice Krispie treats. 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful location with beautiful surroundings. The hosts were so accommadating and quick to respond to any and all questions. The cabin was very clean and had a beautiful covered deck where you could sit and listen to the birds while enjoying the lake. There is a nice little trail behind the cabin that leads to a wet weather waterfall! This is a great place to recharge. Highly recommended! Thank you all for everything, J

Tucked away, down a rugged gravel road amid tall trees is this small cabin, perfect for two. The kitchen was adequate, and the outdoor deck was very spacious with a hot tub. Lovely views. Short distance to State Parks for hikers. We had no internet the first night, but the host had it fixed the next day. We did receive a slight refund, but wasn’t necessary.

Nice little cabin, we enjoyed it. Air conditioning works great. It had a hot tub which we didn’t notice when we booked it.

Just what we were looking for. The cozy cabin was awesome! Very secluded, surrounded by massive trees, and the sound of nature in the morning and evening was surreal. Bed was super comfy and hot tub was nice and hot. Only five miles to amazing hiking in Lake Fort Smith National Park. Will definitely tell our friends about the cozy cabin. 5 stars all the way!!!

Cabin was clean and very well staged. It didn’t feel like just another rental cabin or hotel. Owner was very responsive and even allowed us to show up early due to our other check out time at previous place. Location is perfect and not far from amenities, shopping etc. Will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.

We loved our visit to Cozy Cabin! It’s the perfect place to unplug, minimal cell service(could depend on your cell provider ). The internet & Wi-Fi were spotty at night but hey, it’s in the mountains that’s to be expected.Bed was great! Hand soap in bathroom was empty, we couldn’t find a refill.

The hot tub is a bit outdated and there is some maintenance inside the cabin that is needed. We also struggled trying to figure out the TV, but we didn’t come to the cabin to watch TV, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Overall, the cabin was nice and met our needs.

The property was exactly how it looked in the pictures. It's a super cute cabin to have a romantic getaway and we got to bring our dog as well! We walked in the woods behind the property and it was private enough I didn't see anyone during our stay. Jennifer was great to talk to and so flexible with our dates. Overall great experience!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We had an issue with the keypad, and the owner was very quick to respond with a solution. The driveway to where we needed to go could use a little grading. All in all, it was a nice, relaxing experience!!

We really loved this cabin and did not want to leave. Took a day trip on the backroads from the state park to Cass and fell in love with the mountain. Owners left little treats on the table and have a great cabin. Highly recommend.

It is off the beaten path which is what we wanted. We ate at a local restaurant and the people were friendly and offered good service and food.

We were looking to just unwind for a couple of days. Its an amazing place. I wish I could have walked down to lake.

The red star cabin was perfect. Far enough away for quiet time, but close enough to run and go get supplies if needed.

I want to retire to a place exactly like this! The cabin had all of the comforts of home and felt so cozy and close to nature. We cooked full meals and had everything we needed to do so. Breakfast and coffee on the porch was the best way to start the day. Our stay made me dream of retirement and what I would want and need in a cabin for myself and my husband. I can honestly say, I wouldn’t change much!
