A great place to stay with our kids and grandkids! The house was clean, comfortable and worked great for our family. We had fun downhill skiing, cross country skiing, hiking, swimming and playing board games! The owner was very good at communicating and was very helpful. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed this property for our large family trip. It was very spacious for 14 of us. We enjoyed the ski out. It was a great price for the amenities. We will be back again in the future.

What a perfect setting in the woods and close to everything ie. Lutsen and Grand Marais. A few initial small glitches; however, Mr. Smothers was MORE than accommodating especially given it was Thanksgiving day. Pool was closed; however, the public pool in Grand Marais was open. A setting were several quiet walks with family was very relaxing and therapeutic! I HIGHLY recommend THE HIBERNATION HOUSE!

Hibernation House, is a spacious and well stocked 5 bedroom townhome. The unit could be 3 separate units. Which provided some confusion at arrival. We rented it as a 5 bedroom unit. Which meant we had 3 entry doors and 3 parking spots right in front. The on site pictures are very true to the layout and amenities, much appreciated! A tip for those that enjoy the early morning sun, select the 1st floor master or the top floor bedroom with the 3 beds. Peter was super helpful and responsive. He checked in when we arrived and returned all of my msg very promptly.
