Pristine, comfortable seating and bed, lovely areas to sit outside. Essex is a beautiful town, walking distance from the cottage. There are so many huge sugar maples that coming back in the Autumn is a thought. If so, would not hesitate to stay here again.Adjacent towns also quaint. Gillette Castle, though still closed for the season has really beautiful grounds to walk/hike all year.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the cottage. Very convenient to all surrounding towns. Restaurants were all very very good to excellent. Just a great place to relax and enjoy. Looking forward to visiting again in the future

This adorable house was perfect for the two of us. They made such great use of the space! It was quiet and prettier in person. We walked into town a few times instead of driving. The downtown area was very cute and the food in a number of restaurants we ate at was all very good. We hope to go back soon.
