The pool was not heated. When I reached out they stated it was heated after reaching out several times they the stated they were sorry and will have someone look at it after we checked out. I only picked this property because of the pool.

We loved the location! Walking distance to Kure pier, various restaurants, and arcade. The place was spacious and came with everything we needed. Beds and pillows were comfy. Host was easy to reach when we had questions. The pool was amazing, the downstairs living area was perfect for our teens. Direct access to the beach was great. There is a golf card charging port as well. Will stay here again for sure!

We had both sides of the duplex and another house down the road 9 houses. Perfect spot for our large family to get together. The pool overlooking the ocean was perfect!!

We had a great time! Despite a hiccup with early check in, this was a perfect rental. The couches are due for an update, but the beds were comfortable. It would be nice if you could upgrade the sheets package, the fitted sheet came off the mattress every night. The pool was heated and clear. The location is excellent. So great to have the pool as we had two of our grandkids, under the age of 4, with us and it saved us every day! We did have a problem with the pool getting real cloudy but the property manager was all over it and it was fixed the same day! The only other challenge was the grill provided was definitely not usable. But overall my family had a wonderful vacation.

The property was very nice. There was an issue with the pool heater but the management team worked hard to get it fixed and they compensated us for the lost pool time. Would definitely return to this listing if another trip brings us back!

The layout of the house was perfect for us. It provided togetherness for our family but also privacy. Parking was a big issue as it is everywhere on the island. Every time one person needed to leave everyone had to move vehicles. When I rented the house I didn’t realize it was a duplex. That didn’t seem clear in the listing but maybe I overlooked it. The basement unit needs a dresser. The rest of the rooms were remarkable and met all of our needs. The view of the beach was spectacular.

The house was perfect our two families. The pool was great to have as we had some very windy days on the beach. It was well equipped and there are two outdoor showers to help eliminate the sand. One is under the deck where there is also storage for rafts and such.

The beach house was very clean and spacious. The location is perfect for us and so close to the beach. You walk out the back, and the beach is there. The beach view is great to enjoy your morning coffee and evening drink. You don't have to haul all of your beach gear all at once to set up. If you forget something, it's a minute walk back to the house. Our kids enjoyed it too because they can come and go from the beach to the house at their convenience without having to worry about crossing the street. The beach house is located within walking distance to a few eateries and Kure Pier which was nice. Even our dog enjoyed going to the beach after 5PM. Overall, we were very pleased with the beach house and would highly recommend it.

Good property but had not been cleaned when we arrived. Host evidently "dropped the ball" on seeing that it was cleaned. However, a wonderful cleaning lady arrived and worked for 4 hours to clean the house spotless. Host needs to pay closer attention to property and actually visit.

The house is in a great location. We had a few plumbing issues, but they were handled quickly. Our biggest complaint was that the bedspreads had dog hair on them. I realize this is a pet friendly rental, but the bedspreads really should be cleaned after each guest's stay. I'm also not sure the room downstairs was thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. But all in all it's a great place to vacation.

Great ocean front view! The issues we had though were plumbing issues in top floor bathroom. Had to plunge everytime you used it. Water in toilet ran continually. No water pressure at all in entire house. . Tv set in family room was ancient and internet was horrible. Not a good place to visit if any big football or basketball games are on because the tv reception was horrible.

Bad smell upon arrival…egg left in disposal; dirty utensils; cracked missing wood on upper stairs; ring around toilet 2nd level; pillows on couch had dog hair; no kuerig as advertised; hair clogged tub in upstairs ; tub very slippery-unsafe; no hand rail; downstairs heat did not work 1st night; brutally cold; light in dining room not working…it was apparent that house had not been adequately cleaned and inspected prior to our arrival. There are 3 flights of stairs… definitely not for older folks… slippery to come up and down on. The best thing about the house was the view of the ocean. We will not return…left early… for what we paid, we expected more. We did report these items in 3 different communications. The mgr offered to send someone to correct but we elected not to have any more disruption

I believe host needs to be more in tune with property. Was told no Keurig, but there’s actually a Keurig and coffee pot. Wasn’t informed trash pick-up was on early Monday morning, so we missed that, and trash had been left in receptacles prior to our visit by previous guests. Top floor toilet is messed up and runs constantly, so you listen to that while trying to sleep. It was great to have a family lunch and access to the beach is perfect. Clean, but sheets/bedding/mattresses could use some updating. Nice kitchen and open space to relax. Dog hair left on couch and pillows from a previous stay. Good location! Not a lot of room for parking, and one day, a cleaning lady just popped into the house, not knowing there were people even staying there. Overall, nice visit to the beach, and host was always receptive to my messages! We would stay here again.

The house has a beautiful view, and the master bedroom balcony makes waking up early with a toddler totally worthwhile! The property was as listed, well decorated and comfortable, the entire family was happy and complimented it multiple times. They even stocked a pizza cutter!

Nice property on a lovely part of the beach. Walking distance to the Kure Beach pier. Living room, dining room and deck all had plenty of seating for a large group. Very private, we never heard the neighbors in the other half of the duplex at all. The views are beautiful, particularly from the 3rd floor master. The basement is a separate unit, and kind of dark, but our daughter and son in law liked the privacy. The 3rd floor master is also very private. Two of the ceiling fans didn't work, and a couple of lightbulbs were burned out, but nothing so awful that it effected our stay. LOTS of steep stairs, so if you have mobility issues this might not be for you. We loved it and hope to return next year!

This place was cute and perfect for what we needed. On the beach is the best part! We do wish the downstairs game room and bedroom was connected to the upstairs but everything was clean, comfortable and perfect for a family. We all were able to sit around the big table and eat together, play games, and enjoy family time. House was both dog and kid friendly too! Perfect for sitting on one of the two patios and soaking up the gorgeous beach views!

The location is excellent. So great to have the pool as we had two of our grandkids, under the age of 4, with us and it saved us every day! We did have a problem with the pool getting real cloudy but the property manager was all over it and it was fixed the same day! The only other challenge was the grill provided was definitely not usable. But overall my family had a wonderful vacation.

The property was very nice. There was an issue with the pool heater but the management team worked hard to get it fixed and they compensated us for the lost pool time. Would definitely return to this listing if another trip brings us back!

We booked this property for family member who loves the beach and was recently diagnosed with cancer, so she could see the beach from the house and it delivered. The location was amazing! Kure Beach is so easy to get to, so convenient to groceries, restaurants etc. but at the same time felt removed from all of that. Being stone’s throw from the ocean it allowed our loved one to walk into the beach and back w/o tiring herself. And the house was clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen had everything one would want, too. We’re also a TV family, and appreciated all the streaming services that were available, plus tables for games and puzzles. Finally, we’d like to thank Liz and handyman Justin and his assistant. There were a couple of things that needed fixing on arrival, but they attended to these immediately and promised to come back the next day if necessary, even though the next day was Xmas Eve. Highly, highly recommend! Ps. The Home Depot in Wilmington gets a special shout-out for giving us a live tree on Xmas Eve — for free! Making our Xmas on beach with loved ones picture perfect.

The beach house was very clean and spacious. The location is perfect for us and so close to the beach. You walk out the back, and the beach is there. The beach view is great to enjoy your morning coffee and evening drink. You don't have to haul all of your beach gear all at once to set up. If you forget something, it's a minute walk back to the house. Our kids enjoyed it too because they can come and go from the beach to the house at their convenience without having to worry about crossing the street. The beach house is located within walking distance to a few eateries and Kure Pier which was nice. Even our dog enjoyed going to the beach after 5PM. Overall, we were very pleased with the beach house and would highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed this rental. The location and views are wonderful! We were very impressed with the size of this unit and surprised that the lower level is it’s own little apartment. This would be great for an extended family vacation. My 17 year old got to use this unit and loved it! Parking would be good for a couple cars. I would definitely stay here again! Beachfront convenience!

The house was spectacular and the owners were great to communicate with! The only way to go to the beach. The sand is a minute walk from the back door and the views from the balconies were incredible. Cannot speak highly enough! Looking forward to staying here again!

We loved the location! Walking distance to Kure pier, various restaurants, and arcade. The place was spacious and came with everything we needed. Beds and pillows were comfy. Host was easy to reach when we had questions. The pool was amazing, the downstairs living area was perfect for our teens. Direct access to the beach was great. There is a golf card charging port as well. Will stay here again for sure!

Nice property on a lovely part of the beach. Walking distance to the Kure Beach pier. Living room, dining room and deck all had plenty of seating for a large group. Very private, we never heard the neighbors in the other half of the duplex at all. The views are beautiful, particularly from the 3rd floor master. The basement is a separate unit, and kind of dark, but our daughter and son in law liked the privacy. The 3rd floor master is also very private. Two of the ceiling fans didn't work, and a couple of lightbulbs were burned out, but nothing so awful that it effected our stay. LOTS of steep stairs, so if you have mobility issues this might not be for you. We loved it and hope to return next year!

The listing needs to be edited for accuracy. There are only 3 bedrooms. There are 5 beds total. Was given the incorrect code and communication was delayed from the host. The air conditioner did not work in the top room. We contacted the host. Both thermostats were set at the same temperature as directed. Its still did not work. The windows were dirty preventing a good view from inside. The pool was dirty. Rental price is not in line with this property.

The property was ok for the age. It does need a thorough walk through to check for maintenance opportunities, preferably before guests arrive. The code given was incorrect and had a long wait to get the correct code from the host. The view was beautiful. The pool was full of bugs and we had to clean it ourselves. We contacted the host about some maintenance issues and was asked if they could have access. We said yes. Nothing was resolved. Broken wheels on the shower door as well as the outside screen doors were rusted and the plastic wheels were broken as well. Quite a bit of money for the rental.

Great location, pool was nice but we needed to fill it, proximity to the beach is perfect. The AC wasn’t working when arrived but the team had a service company out as soon as possible to fix it and were very responsive. Would stay again.
