Wonderful food and service. The spa was amazing! They had some fun activities as well. The downside is the beach is small and rocky and the surf break was crowded. They also did not have a hot tub on the entire resort. The room plunge pools are cold water.

Big property, plenty of restaurants and pool to go to, service is great, a very relaxing place if that is what you are looking for, only bad side if you like the beach, you will not be able to swim there, mainly surfing or paddle boarding, other than that, great place

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved Secrets Bahia Mita! Here is list of our favorites 1. SPAAAAAA, hydro therapy amenities were devine. We went back for seconds 2. Fine Dining! We loved all of the options! My favorite was Bordeaux 3. 6th Floor pool along with Olio restaurant were a dream. 4.COFFEE lovers, there are many options at the Cafe. There you can also pick up quick meal and ice cream anytime of the day 5. Hospitality, every single employee was pleasant and helpful

The property was well-situated for singles, couples, and families. If you booked your reservation with the Secrets all inclusive option you could eat at all 10 restaurants, the French restaurant was our favorite. We really enjoyed the house band every night as well as the on site entertainment offered. The beach access was awesome but the 8th floor pool access with service was the best. Thanks again Secrets, impressive.

el hotel está dividido en dos mitades casi iguales, una es el dreams (familiar) y la otra el secrets (solo adultos) recomiendo sectrets con mayor calidad en alimentos y bebidas, el nivel preferred te da acceso a zonas exclusivas con excelente servicio y alimentos gourmet, definitivamente sugiero invertir en vista al complejo o al océano (no hacia afuera) por q la vista no es bonita. en algunos restaurantes exigen código de vestimenta formal (o almenos no informal). la playa es bonita pero no se recomienda nadar y hay muchas rocas, sin embargo se compensa con muchas albercas muy bonitas y sobre todo la del piso 8 (zona preferred) con balinesas con una increíble vista. súper recomiendo el restaurante Mezes con excelente menú gourmet y etención extraordinaria del chef Benjamín y el Capitán Darcy a quienes agradezco su desmedida atención.

Absolutely beautiful property with some of the best views in the Peurto Vallarta area. The food and drinks were amazing. Luis at the swim up Manatee bar and Benito on the 6th floor were both really great at keeping us up on drinks. The only negative thing I can say are some of the pools were in need of a deep clean, with build up along the edges and one of them even had algae build up along the floor and floating around..Compared to other secrets and all inclusives we have stayed at, the activities and entertainment after dinner hours seemed to be lacking, with the entertainment staff not being very engaging. Otherwise, this resort was amazing and we would definitely return.

The property was extremely clean. The staff was attentive. The rooms are cleaned and stocked throughout the day. Staff come by and check to see if you need anything. I loved that. The all-inclusive part is amazing because the food is actually good! I would call myself a picky eater, and sometimes I’m restricted to eating at these all inclusive resorts because of the lack of variety. I did not find that to be the case here. They have real chefs and they care about the quality of food here. They have a hen house- fresh eggs; they have a garden- fresh veggies! Food was amazing. Room was nice, bed was comfortable. They are aware of the complaints of the hotel (will explain below) and they really try to accommodate/make up for those in my opinion. The skybar was amazing, staff was great, drinks were delicious and the infinity pool up there exclusive to privilege guest was great/away from kids/families at the other property. Cons: the Secrets and Dreams resorts are separated by a walkway. So while none of the secrets rooms are connected/around rooms where kids are, there are kids in common areas of the property (restaurants, pool, etc.). There are pools exclusive to Secrets side though. The plunge pool in our room is not really a plunge pool. It is not big enough to plunge in, at all. I would not book that room again. The outdoor area where plunge pool is kinda has a stench. I sprayed perfume & hotel supplies incense. Same with shower. Hot water & incense helped with that.

3.5/5 for our stay. We bumped up our stay to a “preferred” and even then our room wouldn’t be cleaned at a timely manner. We’d come in at 6 / 7 to get ready for dinner — mind you we had been outside enjoying the pools/beach/bars all day thinking by the time we were back our room would have been clean but nope. We were there 5 days & on one occasion the bed was done but the towels hadn’t been replaced, they had just taken the wet ones, another issue we had was they didn’t leave toilet paper on that same occasion. They’re not terrible things but it’s such an inconvenience to have to be calling / waiting for them to bring the items.

Uno de los edificios mas bonitos que he visto, sin embargo se nota la falta de atención por parte del gerente, quien brillo por su ausencia en todas mis solicitudes. es imposible comunicarse con la propiedad, ya sea por telefono o email, entonces no puedes hacer solicitudes especiales, nuestra habitación estaba Puerca!, las almohadas tenian un olor asqueroso, las alfombras tenían restos de comida, algunos focos estaban fundidos o parpadeando, el aire no servia, cuando pedi cambio de habitacion estaban mas preocupados por cobrar un upgrade que por resolver problemas, segun un monito de la recepcion que se hizo pasar por el gerente y que tenia el criterio de un chicharo cocido, mi habitacion no tendria vista al mas por que era tropical, cuando en las fotos se ve el mar. la comida es buena, pero si hace falta un nuevo gerente mas detallista, se me olvido reportar que hay unos cables que estan a la orilla de una alberca y ya estan expuestos.

We stayed 2 nights at this resorts and booked the Preferred junior king suite on the Secrets Adult only side, which you can still hear children screaming. The resort has 14 restaurants but only 3 are open in the daytime the rest opens from 8P-10:45P, and there is always at least a 30 minute wait. The room was spacious but had stains on the couch and on the of bed bench. The television kept losing signal for at least 20 minutes. The patio jacuzzi was splashing water everywhere because the water was below the jets. We called maintenance to report the problem and she came but did not fill up jacuzzi also we asked for a beer bottle opener 2 time and never received it. I did enjoy karaoke but once again children kind of took it over. Basically all the evening events were based around entertaining kids. Which is fine, but when couples come to this resort they want to have adult entertainment and not kid neon shows. Also the drinks were very watered down and the food was not impressive. I would suggest staying at a Airbnb if going to Puerto Vallarta. You could save a lot more money and have real full not partial ocean views with jacuzzi’s. Also experience better food and drink. This was basically a non moving carnival cruise without ports. Also they will try to sell you on a 1 hour and 30 minute not a timeshare but a timeshare deal then give you $75 leisure cash to use at the resort which is a scam. So would I recommend maybe if they have to come down on the price.

The service people was the best part of this trip. Everyone was very friendly and caring, like Jesus at the Barracuda bar and Leo, the mesero by the pool. We felt the music was too loud everywhere. The pictures in the adverts are a little deceiving, to say the least. Our room had a smell, kind of sewer smell, on and off, during the A/C operations, which made sleeping really hard. The food was good, lots of varieties and drinking is always offered and refilled by all the meseros. Maybe we are spoiled, but it was not the best Secrets we'd stayed in. Hope others have a better experience.

The property is beautiful, our room was nice with a view of the jungle. The hallway by our smelled like ammonia or cats if you will so that wasn’t great. Pools were nice but water was a bit murky so felt unclean. Beach area was quite nice as well as gym and activities all great. Food wise the breakfast buffet was very good and lunch by the Manatee pool was great. The dinner dining options varied from not impressive to decent. Overall a nice stay.

We really enjoyed the multiple pools with lots of semi private areas & of course adults only. The food & beverage options checked our boxes too - quality liquor & several different food spots. Its a big, beautiful property. Staff is super friendly (thanks Ines) and really relaxed. We would certainly go back. Our room was very clean & comfortable.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and treated like royalty. This is our third time. And with in the last couple years, they've expanded the property built new restaurants to food is impeccable. They have three staff per visitor. It's just one of the most remarkable places in the world and we can't wait to come back next year. We stayed for a total of five days and we plan for saying for 7 to 10 next year!!! heaven is a place on earth at this hotel

We stayed 2 nights at this resorts and booked the Preferred junior king suite on the Secrets Adult only side, which you can still hear children screaming. The resort has 14 restaurants but only 3 are open in the daytime the rest opens from 8P-10:45P, and there is always at least a 30 minute wait. The room was spacious but had stains on the couch and on the of bed bench. The television kept losing signal for at least 20 minutes. The patio jacuzzi was splashing water everywhere because the water was below the jets. We called maintenance to report the problem and she came but did not fill up jacuzzi also we asked for a beer bottle opener 2 time and never received it. I did enjoy karaoke but once again children kind of took it over. Basically all the evening events were based around entertaining kids. Which is fine, but when couples come to this resort they want to have adult entertainment and not kid neon shows. Also the drinks were very watered down and the food was not impressive. I would suggest staying at a Airbnb if going to Puerto Vallarta. You could save a lot more money and have real full not partial ocean views with jacuzzi’s. Also experience better food and drink. This was basically a non moving carnival cruise without ports. Also they will try to sell you on a 1 hour and 30 minute not a timeshare but a timeshare deal then give you $75 leisure cash to use at the resort which is a scam. So would I recommend maybe if they have to come down on the price.

El hotel es muy amplio y está muy bien diseñado, pues cuenta con diversas áreas de esparcimiento, varias albercas y terrazas y establecimientos de comida. Esto que hace que aunque haya mucha gente se siente bien distribuida (nos tocaron varias bodas y eventos y realmente no tuvimos ninguna molestia a causa de ello). Uno puede pasar la tarde paseando por el hotel. Los cuartos son espaciosos, cómodos y bonitos, aunque las almohadas son muy incómodas y la limpieza no es la mejor. El personal se esmera en ofrecer un excelente servicio y una muy buena actitud. Particularmente, hicieron un esfuerzo notable al darnos nuestra habitación y después de que pedimos un cambio. La calidad y variedad de alimentos es muy buena. En ocasiones el tipo de música que ponen en los espacios comunes (albercas, restaurantes y bares) llega a ser demasiado estridente; podrían poner música más relajante (¡o no poner música en absoluto!). La playa es bastante pequeña y está llena de piedras, y el oleaje es fuerte (para nosotros esto no fue en absoluto un problema: pasamos el tiempo en una buena terraza sombreada frente a una de las albercas). ¡Lo recomendamos y regresaríamos con gusto!

Great location. Staff were super nice. The building was leaking every time it rained. The restaurants close regularly so ask which days so you can plan accordingly. The rooms with plunge pool on balcony are very loud bc the jets come on at 6am and cannot be turned off. We were not able to sleep past 6am. A/C was definitely not as functional as desired. Overall nice place, but wish A/C was better and jets didn’t wake us up at 6am.

Service and staff was excellent, always helpful and greeted us with a smile. Our butler Carlos texted us every day to ask if we needed anything, he was very helpful. A lot of dining options with adults only restaurants. Overall well kept property and saw the most beautiful sunset.

Too big for my taste. Excellent Spa. Great Satff. Horrible welcome. Checkin took 45 minutes as they were pushy in trying to cash in on a room upgrade and then 2 hours pushing on trying to sell a membership. Rooms are big and very well designed… but noisy and the bathroom smells .

The staff are what makes this resort standout for me, they truly treat guests with kindness and service in the most friendly manner. There were so many Erika, Lulu, surf instructor, pool and beach servers and the New Year’s party was the best I have been to and that was because of the staff from set up, service to decor to the band incredible

Terrible staff. Rude people working at the front desk. If you don’t want to hear their long talk about their offers they treat you as if you’ve done something horrible to offend them EVERY SINGLE DAY OF YOUR STAY. If you are looking for a quiet vacation and great food stay far away from here. Every area is really noisy and the food is edible but not good.

Amazing view from my room. Beautiful property lots food options enjoyed all restaurants.Excellent service everywhere from the bars to restaurants and rooms were clean and well stocked everyday.A Expedia representative meet us at check-in her name was Cecy she was wonderful and was there if we needed anything and helped us get restaurant reservations! Thank you Expedia and Cecy for a wonderful vacation!

Celebrated our 24th Anniversary here and it was such an amazing experience. The best restaurant for dinner was the french restaurant, Bordeaux! It was so delicious, we went twice!! Loved the ambience and food was incredible! We tried the other restaurants except for the buffet and the food and dining experience at each of them was exceptional. We booked the preferred club king junior suite and it was so comfortable, spacious, and quiet. The highlight of our stay was the service we received from our butler, Elizabeth B. We planned to play pickleball, but my wife forgot to bring her tennis shoes. We asked one of the staff at the preferred club front desk if there was a shopping mall close by and he connected us with Elizabeth. She asked for my wife's shoe size and offered to pick up and purchase them during her time off from work. We were blown away and so appreciative. She also went out of her way to surprise us by decorating our bed with rose petals spelling out "Happy Anniversary" along with balloons and a bottle of white wine. Overall, this place was amazing and thank you, Elizabeth,.for making our visit extra special!!!

Necesitan mejorar su personal de servicio, o contratar a más personas, les falta gente, la mayoría con mala cara, obvio hay sus excepciones. Las habitaciones todo súper bien, las instalaciones están en súper buen estado, se ve nuevo. Los restaurantes siempre hay demasiada fila de espera y no puedes hacer reservaciones en ninguno, hasta en el buffet haces 20-30min de fila para entrar. Sergio del restaurante Italiano FATAL. Las albercas TODAS cierran a las 7pm. Creo que difícilmente me quedaría de nuevo en este hotel.

Todo muy bien ,excepto la gente que te quiere vender en tiempo compartido, te quita toda la mañana y no te recompensan el tiempo perdido. Son súper insistentes a pesar de que les dices mil veces que no, salimos fastidiados de la oficina. Eso es lo único q deberían de quitar o controlar.

This resort is absolutely beautiful and the service is amazing. The pictures you see on the website don’t do it justice. There are plenty of things to do at the resort and plenty of dining options. The only negative is that you’re about 45 minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta, but it is easy to Uber if you want a day away from the resort. I would definitely stay here again!

Big property, plenty of restaurants and pool to go to, service is great, a very relaxing place if that is what you are looking for, only bad side if you like the beach, you will not be able to swim there, mainly surfing or paddle boarding, other than that, great place

El lugar es increíble, la comida es lo mas delicioso de todo, me encanto que tienen muchas albercas y camastros para que aunque el hotel este lleno hay espacio, las vistas son espectaculares y me toco todos los días atardeceres hermosos. sin duda volveré y llevaré a mi familia

Instalaciones buenas, personal amigable. Pero no hay nada alrededor por ej. la playa es sumamente compleja para nadar. Extremadamente lleno de grandes rocas y aunque no hay mucho por hacer en ese aspecto, se veía que a los que les gusta estar en el mar sufríran.

Very little poolside music was played. After 12 for the water aerobics then it was shut off until 4 and played for 30 min. Pool activities were poor. The instructor for the water pole class did not know how to teach it. Offer something else if they don’t know how to teach the class. No fun pool party game: only water poker. Food was okay but buffet food was always very cold. The layout concept design was weird and a bit of a miss for us. Everything was situated in the middle with the very little separated dreams from secrets and they would either play music on one side or the other or there was nothing played at all on either side. We did not have a terrible time but we also would not go back to this resort.

Property was ok beach disappointing we were kept waiting at check in and then put into an awful room not corrected for a couple of days With exception of Bordeau restaurants were poor at best. Breakfast was excellent. The steak restaurant was the worst steak restaurant I have ever seen. Who wants to pay 144us per kilo for a rib eye. Was not happy. Even the fillet steak was tasteless.

Secrets truly made our first all-inclusive Mexican vacation incredible! For my wife's birthday, they went above and beyond, providing champagne and a custom cake. Every dining option was excellent; we especially loved Bordeaux. We also enjoyed a lively Mexican fiesta featuring delicious food and a mariachi band. The pools were great, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, making our experience truly memorable. While some reviews mentioned a rocky beach, we found ample space to relax and enjoy it.

El restaurante Portofino extraordinario, la pasta con pato y trufa deliciosa. Las habitaciones y áreas comunes espectaculares. El spa increíble. ¡Volveremos pronto!

Food quality was good. Service for the most part was a hit or miss, you either loved it or you hated it. Liquor selection was poor.preferred club liquor selection was not anywhere near premium liquor like they advertise.

The staff was very friendly , but I felt they were short handed at the restaurants and the poolside . We had dinner at the Italian restaurant and my wife ordered ice cream for dessert and by the time we received it was all melted . We have stayed in many Secrets before and this is the first time we felt it was not to our expectations , I will say the sushi stand and the Olio restaurant on the 6th floor were very good .

Definitivamente volveríamos!!! El top de ese lugar es la comida. Y aunque el hotel en algunas instalaciones si se comparte con Dreams y hay niños, creo que hay muchas áreas de solo adultos que puedes disfrutar, y la ventaja es que al mismo tiempo puedes disfrutar de áreas de Dreams, como el parque acuático.
Definitivamente volveríamos!!! El top de ese lugar es la comida. Y aunque el hotel en algunas instalaciones si se comparte con Dreams y hay niños, creo que hay muchas áreas de solo adultos que puedes disfrutar, y la ventaja es que al mismo tiempo puedes disfrutar de áreas de Dreams, como el parque acuático.

Es la primera vez que voy a Secrets, le doy un 8.5, instalaciones bonitas pero ya un poco dañadas y desgastadas y sin mantenimiento, camastros en albercas y playa siempre disponibles; la playa no la recomiendo tiene mucha piedra, prefiero las de Iberostar, solo que no es de adultos, las comidas y cenas en los restaurantes les doy un 9.5 si se lucieron tienen buenos platillos y de alimentos de calidad, personal atento.
