We spent a week with family and friends and absolutely loved the place. The cottage is beautiful with everything you need including gourmet coffee. The beach and access to the lake is shallow which is perfect for our 4 grandchildren to build sand castles and splash in the warm water. We were able to use the Pedal Boat and two kayaks which was a nice surprise. The dock has a beautiful deck with lovely Muskoka chairs which we sat on every evening to enjoy the late afternoon sun. The host, Forest, was wonderful and made us all feel welcome. We will definitely be back - hopefully to start an annual cottage tradition for our extended family.

Vacation with kids and grandkids. Great location on Bob’s lake with beautiful cottage. Satisfied all requirements for 10 people of mixed ages. Able to dock boat for tubing at cottage and the downstairs had a games room for evening entertainment.

My family's weekend stay at this cottage was wonderful. The property has everything you could ask for, and the children loved the outdoor playground, and getting out on the lake. It didn't hurt to wake up in the morning to that gorgeous view, either! Our only regret was that we hadn't booked a longer stay - would definitely return for another visit!

We had a great family get-together for the long weekend. Although the weather wasn’t the greatest, we managed to go for a bit of a kayak and take some lovely walks. The pool table and air hockey were wonderful entertainment. We easily prepared our feast in the well- equipped kitchen and just enjoyed being together in such a beautiful setting. The complimentary wine and cookies were a great bonus, as well as the supplied coffee. Many memories were made! Thank you, Forest! Vicki & family

Our stay at Bob's Lake from Aug 1 to 8 was fantastic from beginning to end. The property was exceptional with beautiful green space, a small beach and of course a wonderful lake. Our family enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and canoeing every day. A thrill for our grand-daughters was catch and release fishing right off the dock. There was plenty of space to enjoy being together as well as space for solitude.The interior was quite spacious with the four bedrooms (and a loft) and four bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and the best coffee maker! (a favorite for the adults) . It was lovely to eat inside with a beautiful view of the lake or outside on the well equipped patio. We will enjoy returning to this Bob's Lake Paradise again.

Love the peaceful lake. Especially liked the use of the paddle boat, kayaks, and 4 PFDs. The neighbour’s little white dog likes to visit, his name is Flip and he will find his own way home. Forest was responsive, helpful, and hospitable. Thank you!

My friends and I had an unforgettable three-night stay at Bob's Lake, and our only regret was not booking a longer stay! The cottage was immaculate, incredibly spacious, and offered stunning views of the lake from the cathedral-style living room with its floor-to-ceiling windows. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the en-suite bathrooms in each bedroom were a luxury we greatly appreciated. The property is expansive, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We made the most of the large dock, kayaks, pedal boat, and lawn games. The ample outdoor seating on the deck was ideal for our large group to relax and socialize. The lake itself was pristine and perfect for swimming, with no seaweed to worry about. We accessed it through a small sandy beach, which made it easy to enjoy the water. Although there is a cottage next door, the activity on the lake was minimal, and it felt much more secluded compared to other areas we have stayed. Everyone in our group agreed that this was one of our best cottage experiences ever, and we’re already planning our return next year. 9 adults, one grandson, and two dogs all had a great time. It's so hard to find a nice cottage that can handle all of us, especially the dogs, but this one certainly did. The views of Bob's lake from the dock are amazing and the sandy beach and protected bay is perfect for swimming and paddle boarding.

This place was amazing. Spacious, comfy beds, stocked kitchen. Best part was the dock! The water is crystal clear. Lots of space to play games outside. The host was very accomodating and friendly. Will definately come back. One thing is bring ice and other items as the closest store is about 20 min away.

Nice location and lovely views. The cottage was spacious and large enough to accommodate our family of seven. Disappointed in the lack of basic cooking utensils which caused me to have to quickly change cooking plans for Thanksgiving. Cottage could use a deep clean with particular attention paid to black mould around kitchen sink and master shower.

Had a wonderful stay at Bobs lake paradise. The host was warm and very responsive. The cabin is gorgeous, spacious, well outfitted and very clean. The lake is also beautiful and swimable ( though it was too cold in April). We had a small issue with the plumbing which the host responded to very quickly.The reason for the overall 4 star rating is that the cabin doesn't have any hiking trails around it. And the nearest town is 20 mins away. If those things are not important to you, this cabin would be a 5 star experience.

We stayed over a weekend in October. The home and location were beautiful. We had young children and the property was perfect. The yard, the beach, the playground were a hit. Everyone enjoyed fishing from the doc and the mist in the morning and the call of the loon was the icing on the cake. Everything was clean, well cared for and included everything you would need for a perfect and relaxing get away. Soo many great memories were made. We all wanted to stay longer.

This property is amazing and perfect for large families. I could just imagine a nice xmas dinner or Thanksgiving dinner overlooking the beautiful view of the lake from the large cathedral windows. This cottage was very well equipped, organized and very clean. Forest was a great host and am definitely recommending this cottage.

This property offered the ideal location for our group of couples to gather. Spacious both indoors and out, it allowed for many moments of group laughter and games, sharing of intimate conversations or quiet moments alone. The lovely view and multiple amenities contributed to our enjoyment. We were able to easily launch our kayaks and canoe from the waterfront, had a campfire one night under a very starry sky, took advantage of the large lawn for a game of Bocce ball and were delighted by the birdlife. Thank you Forest for being such a courteous and responsive host and for sharing your property. We certainly have many new special memories!

It is a beautiful property, with plenty of room for all of the family. We were a group of 6 adults, one toddler and two dogs, room for all to gather and have their own space when desired. Forest was great communicating with us, and all is as it shows in the pictures. Lots of outdoor seating both on the deck and another deck on the lake, perfect for relaxing. We were there for 7 nights, and enjoyed all it had to offer. Don't hesitate on this one!

Nous avons séjourné chez Forest pour étirer nos vacances de Noël en famille. La maison est très grande et il y avait de la place pour tout le monde. La cuisine est bien équipé et la table de salle à manger assez grande pour accueillir les 12 membres adultes de notre famille.les lits sont confortables et la’aneublement aussi. Il nous a manqué de fauteuils confortables pour les 12 personnes. Un seul élément moins plaisant est l’odeur de l’eau. Le système de filtration fonctionne à merveille pour l’eau à boire mais pour le reste, il y a une odeur de souffre qui se dégage et qui n’est pas agréable. Nous avons adoré notre séjour malgré tout.

This is our second time staying at this location and once again was an exceptional stay. The host has even installed a generac for power back up since the last time, which came in extremely useful as we had a storm that knocked out power halfway through our stay, but having this allowed us to continue our stay. Otherwise, we would have had to leave as power was out for the rest of the duration. The host is very good at responding to any questions you may have and the location is great. We will definitely look at going again.

This property offered the ideal location for our group of couples to gather. Spacious both indoors and out, it allowed for many moments of group laughter and games, sharing of intimate conversations or quiet moments alone. The lovely view and multiple amenities contributed to our enjoyment. We were able to easily launch our kayaks and canoe from the waterfront, had a campfire one night under a very starry sky, took advantage of the large lawn for a game of Bocce ball and were delighted by the birdlife. Thank you Forest for being such a courteous and responsive host and for sharing your property. We certainly have many new special memories!

Our family (5 adults, 3 kids and a dog) rented the cottage for New Years Eve! It was amazing! Easy to get to, and had everything we possibly could need! Forest had amazing communication with us and readily available if needed. Our hope is to be able to go back in the summer time.Thank you Forest for renting us your beautiful property! It is a beautiful property, with plenty of room for all of the family. We were a group of 6 adults, one toddler and two dogs, room for all to gather and have their own space when desired. Forest was great communicating with us, and all is as it shows in the pictures. Lots of outdoor seating both on the deck and another deck on the lake, perfect for relaxing. We were there for 7 nights, and enjoyed all it had to offer. Don't hesitate on this one!

Had a wonderful stay at Bobs lake paradise. The host was warm and very responsive. The cabin is gorgeous, spacious, well outfitted and very clean. The lake is also beautiful and swimable ( though it was too cold in April). We had a small issue with the plumbing which the host responded to very quickly.The reason for the overall 4 star rating is that the cabin doesn't have any hiking trails around it. And the nearest town is 20 mins away. If those things are not important to you, this cabin would be a 5 star experience.

My friends and I had an unforgettable three-night stay at Bob's Lake, and our only regret was not booking a longer stay! The cottage was immaculate, incredibly spacious, and offered stunning views of the lake from the cathedral-style living room with its floor-to-ceiling windows. We were completely impressed with the property and the location of the cottage. We have gone to few other locations and this one by far was the best with the cottage itself and the lake. We would spend every day on the dock and enjoy the lake as access was great since you had a sandy entrance with little amount of weeds. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Our stay at Bob's Lake from Aug 1 to 8 was fantastic from beginning to end. The property was exceptional with beautiful green space, a small beach and of course a wonderful lake. Our family enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and canoeing every day. A thrill for our grand-daughters was catch and release fishing right off the dock. There was plenty of space to enjoy being together as well as space for solitude.The interior was quite spacious with the four bedrooms (and a loft) and four bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and the best coffee maker! (a favorite for the adults) . It was lovely to eat inside with a beautiful view of the lake or outside on the well equipped patio. We will enjoy returning to this Bob's Lake Paradise again.

We stayed over a weekend in October. The home and location were beautiful. We had young children and the property was perfect. The yard, the beach, the playground were a hit. Everyone enjoyed fishing from the doc and the mist in the morning and the call of the loon was the icing on the cake. Everything was clean, well cared for and included everything you would need for a perfect and relaxing get away. Soo many great memories were made. We all wanted to stay longer.

9 adults, one grandson, and two dogs all had a great time. It's so hard to find a nice cottage that can handle all of us, especially the dogs, but this one certainly did. The views of Bob's lake from the dock are amazing and the sandy beach and protected bay is perfect for swimming and paddle boarding.

We spent a week with family and friends and absolutely loved the place. The cottage is beautiful with everything you need including gourmet coffee. The beach and access to the lake is shallow which is perfect for our 4 grandchildren to build sand castles and splash in the warm water. We were able to use the Pedal Boat and two kayaks which was a nice surprise. The dock has a beautiful deck with lovely Muskoka chairs which we sat on every evening to enjoy the late afternoon sun. The host, Forest, was wonderful and made us all feel welcome. We will definitely be back - hopefully to start an annual cottage tradition for our extended family.

We had a great family get-together for the long weekend. Although the weather wasn’t the greatest, we managed to go for a bit of a kayak and take some lovely walks. The pool table and air hockey were wonderful entertainment. We easily prepared our feast in the well- equipped kitchen and just enjoyed being together in such a beautiful setting. La cuisine est bien équipé et la table de salle à manger assez grande pour accueillir les 12 membres adultes de notre famille.les lits sont confortables et la’aneublement aussi. Il nous a manqué de fauteuils confortables pour les 12 personnes. Un seul élément moins plaisant est l’odeur de l’eau. Le système de filtration fonctionne à merveille pour l’eau à boire mais pour le reste, il y a une odeur de souffre qui se dégage et qui n’est pas agréable. Nous avons adoré notre séjour malgré tout.

Nice location and lovely views. The cottage was spacious and large enough to accommodate our family of seven. Disappointed in the lack of basic cooking utensils which caused me to have to quickly change cooking plans for Thanksgiving. Cottage could use a deep clean with particular attention paid to black mould around kitchen sink and master shower.

We spent most of our time walking around saying "can you believe this place." Everything from the kitchen, games, water toys, internet, umbrellas, seating, the grounds !, the docks ! etc etc, the list goes on and on. The host was great, and we felt like someone was letting us stay at their fully loaded house. Cant say enough about the property, we will probably book for a week or more next year. We spent most of our time walking around saying "can you believe this place." Everything from the kitchen, games, water toys, internet, umbrellas, seating, the grounds !, the docks ! etc etc, the list goes on and on. A! This is definitely the best cottage we've rented in the Westport area over the past few years! The property and all of the rooms are a generous size. We really enjoyed the games room, deck, docks, boats and the campfire pit.

Wonderful family weekend at Bob’s Lake Paradise. Plenty of different spots to take in the beauty of the lake and enjoy the company of others. Large open yard gave children and pets room to play. Always lots of action in the games room. Private ensuite bathrooms off of all but the children’s room was a plus.Thank you Forest for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy Bob’s Lake Paradise!

This place was amazing. Spacious, comfy beds, stocked kitchen. Best part was the dock! The water is crystal clear. Lots of space to play games outside. The host was very accomodating and friendly. Will definately come back. One thing is bring ice and other items as the closest store is about 20 min away.
