Great gathering location for family wedding. Enjoyed the golf cart parade for the 4th of July. Caught the fireworks show in New Bern. The community recreation center was fun - miniature golf, fitness room, pool, hot tub. We even got to listen to some live music while enjoying some food from the food trucks. Great restaurants in New Bern, and the pizza at Sara’s on Broad Creek Road was good too. Very enjoyable stay.

After a bad experience with another rental, Jacquie and her home was a breath of fresh air - literally! We walked into a home that was obviously freshly cleaned. It smelled clean as soon as we walked in. Cleanliness is top of my wishlist so i was immediately happy. The view from the deck is amazing! The yard is great for playng some yard games and there is even cormhole there. Lots of trees surrounding the home and it feels private even though you are in a neighborhood. The driveway is long and plenty big enough for several cars. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. Every cabinet and drawer is labeled. The grill is big and nice. There are several common areas with tv's, puzzles, games, an arcade & seating. The bedrooms were comfortable and not crowded. The host was very kind and accomodating! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!!

We had a WONDERFUL time on vacation! Fairfield Harbor is a great community that offers something for every age group. My kids range in age from almost 17-4, and they all had a great time! Fairfield Harbor has a golf course, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, mini golf, pickle ball, basketball, 2 playgrounds and much more! The house was as pictured, was very clean, and Jacqueline was very prompt to respond to my questions. We definitely would return!

Stayed with a group of old friends for our annual golf tournament. The property was perfect for our stay. The house is cool and there’s a great view from the back porch. I would definitely stay here again if I was back in the area and traveling with a large group. Impressive collection of games too!

Enjoyed our time at Drakes Cove. First part of our stay was during a tropical storm, but it was very relaxing nonetheless. My son took his boat and thoroughly enjoyed having it docked right there in the back yard all week. The house was immaculate. I really appreciated that. Will definitely stay again.

Although there was an issue getting in the front door, the host was super-responsive and helped us get in quickly m the house was clean, comfortable, and had lots of great activities to do right there in the home. I would definitely stay there again!

While the property is gorgeous, clean and located in a quiet and friendly community - it's the attention to every little detail that made our stay exceptional! Delightful signs with instructions for anything that could possibly come up during our stay and wifi password. Swift and friendly communication with the host. Beautiful view of the dock and large living spaces and decks. From excellent water pressure in the showers to a kitchen fully stocked with everything (but the food) to enjoy a meal with family and friends, this place was better than staying in a hotel! We're already planning our next stay.

Had a wonderful stay at Drakes Cove. Jacquie was very responsive and helpful in the pre-booking communication and throughout our stay. The house was in pristine condition and in addition to having everything we needed, Jacquie was kind enough to also provide snacks and much needed coffee! We were also grateful everything was labeled - we had a 1 year old with us, and it was super helpful to know what was in each kitchen cabinet, and it was all so organized! It was such a nice perk in addition to a wonderful stay.

Place was great, would have given 5 stars across the board had it not been for a cockroach in the kitchen. We only saw the one the first day and I guess it can be a common thing in the south, it's the first one I had ever seen so I was I but worried. But we never saw another and place was great.

Amazing stay at Drake's Cove. The house was very cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Lights and drawers were labeled throughout the house making it very easy to know how to operate and where things were. The kitchen was very welll stocked and we were able to cook several meals. The game area was well stocked, cute, and fun! The outdoor spaces had tables and chairs and we were able to watch the sun come up and enjoy the warm fresh air. The community was quiet, great signage, and the staff were welcoming and helfpul. The owner was kind, attentive, and available during our stay. Of note for anyone with ADA needs. There are steps leading into the home and you have to use stairs to access the main living area. The lower level was accomodating with bedrooms and had a bathroom with a higher toilet and a walk in shower with about a 6" step. The upstairs bedroom was accessible, the bathroom toilet was high but unable to use the tub/shower. Will definitely put this house on our list to stay again!

This is the second time we have stayed in this house. The location is perfect for our activities. Check-in and communication with the owner was great. People need to realize that the living area is on the second floor, so if stairs are an issue, you need to think about it. For us, it was great and we would stay there again.

So I rented this property for 4 days for my wife's 60th birthday. We live in this area but our house is too small for all the visitors that came in from out of state. The property is wonderful and the host was very accommodating to questions. Its a lovely home in a safe and clean community.
So I rented this property for 4 days for my wife's 60th birthday. We live in this area but our house is too small for all the visitors that came in from out of state. The property is wonderful and the host was very accommodating to questions. Its a lovely home in a safe and clean community.

Enjoyed our time at Drakes Cove. First part of our stay was during a tropical storm, but it was very relaxing nonetheless. My son took his boat and thoroughly enjoyed having it docked right there in the back yard all week. The house was immaculate. I really appreciated that. Will definitely stay again.

We booked this location for a family reunion, and it couldn’t have worked out better. Great gathering location for family wedding. Enjoyed the golf cart parade for the 4th of July. Caught the fireworks show in New Bern. The community recreation center was fun - miniature golf, fitness room, pool, hot tub. We even got to listen to some live music while enjoying some food from the food trucks. Great restaurants in New Bern, and the pizza at Sara’s on Broad Creek Road was good too. Very enjoyable stay.

Amazing stay at Drake's Cove. The house was very cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Lights and drawers were labeled throughout the house making it very easy to know how to operate and where things were. The kitchen was very welll stocked and we were able to cook several meals. The game area was well stocked, cute, and fun! The outdoor spaces had tables and chairs and we were able to watch the sun come up and enjoy the warm fresh air. The community was quiet, great signage, and the staff were welcoming and helfpul. The owner was kind, attentive, and available during our stay. Of note for anyone with ADA needs. There are steps leading into the home and you have to use stairs to access the main living area. The lower level was accomodating with bedrooms and had a bathroom with a higher toilet and a walk in shower with about a 6" step. The upstairs bedroom was accessible, the bathroom toilet was high but unable to use the tub/shower. Will definitely put this house on our list to stay again!

After a bad experience with another rental, Jacquie and her home was a breath of fresh air - literally! We walked into a home that was obviously freshly cleaned. It smelled clean as soon as we walked in. Cleanliness is top of my wishlist so i was immediately happy. The view from the deck is amazing! The yard is great for playng some yard games and there is even cormhole there. Lots of trees surrounding the home and it feels private even though you are in a neighborhood. The driveway is long and plenty big enough for several cars. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. Every cabinet and drawer is labeled. The grill is big and nice. There are several common areas with tv's, puzzles, games, an arcade & seating. The bedrooms were comfortable and not crowded. The host was very kind and accomodating! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!!

While the property is gorgeous, clean and located in a quiet and friendly community - it's the attention to every little detail that made our stay exceptional! Delightful signs with instructions for anything that could possibly come up during our stay and wifi password. Swift and friendly communication with the host. Beautiful view of the dock and large living spaces and decks. From excellent water pressure in the showers to a kitchen fully stocked with everything (but the food) to enjoy a meal with family and friends, this place was better than staying in a hotel! We're already planning our next stay.
