La Vista Akangawa

The location, view of the forest from the river and private onsen bath were as described and very good. We were half board and the quality of the food in my opinion was really poor, so much so we stopped eating in the restaurant after day one of a three day stay. I can’t comment on the Japanese menu but the western menu was inedible. It wouldn’t be difficult to offer a simple continental buffet for breakfast.

夕食の際は料理の提供が途中で滞ってしまい、30分ぐらい放置され、全部で夕食に2時間15分かかってしまった。そのうちほとんどが待ち時間。待ち時間中に給仕に水を注文してもなかなか来ず、残念な思いをしました。このホテルは人員不足または教育不足の大きな問題を抱えていると思います。従業員の多くは研修員の名札をつけており、マニュアル通りの対応しかできず融通が効かないという印象。 全てのコミュニケーションを日本語で行っていたが、容赦だけの判断で館内案内パンフレットや献立表を英語で渡されたり、日本在住、日本国籍なのに在留カードの提出を求められたり、「持ってない」と説明してもイマイチ理解されず、身分証明書の提出を求められたりと旅館業法をご理解されていないようでした。系列店含めてもう泊まることはない。
