Haven at Rye - Beautiful Beach House

Excellent set up for our family weekend away. Well equipped, plenty of space for everyone inside and out.

This house was great. Exactly as described. There are different zones so everyone had a space to go when they needed it. The seperate bunk room was perfect for our teens/young adults and they loved having their own entrance. We made great use of the tennis court and snooker table! The house was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well equipped (maybe a bit more cutlery would have been good).A little more lighting outside would have been great but the sensor lights were good for safety. We’d love to return in warmer weather to use the pool and go to the beach. Overall a great stay!

We stayed here with a group of 12 friends looking to unwind and recoup before a busy work year and this place was great to stay in! The activities that the place provided (the pool, billiards table, table tennis & tennis court) kept us entertained all day which was great. The solar heated pool meant the water was pleasant to swim in even on a 23 degree day! The hosts were very communicative and easy to chat with. For people looking to book this place, & for the hosts, I do have a couple things that weren’t listed that I would keep in mind for future stayz1. The master bedroom which is super nice and spacious only had sheer curtains on the large window. This window gets direct sunlight with the sunrise in the morning, so my partner and I were awoken around 6am every morning. I think this room would benefit by easily swapping these curtains to thicker ones to block out the light. 2. The kitchen had great space and we were provided with ample utensils, pots and pans. However, we could not locate *any* oven mitts during the time of our stay, which made using the kitchen a little difficult. Additionally, we were only able to find one stainless steel mixing bowl. It would be great if more could be provided to the property 3. Not a dealbreaker, but the bathroom attached to the bunk room has not been renovated at all. All in all this place was a great one to stay in and we did make the most of it and enjoyed our stay a lot. Would recommend

Was a great spot for our combined family Christmas. Good size plenty of space, tennis court swimming pool etc, indoor toys/games could do with an update.
