Stayed at Hotel Esplanade over Easter. The location is excellent and the bed was comfortable, though the walls are thin and you can hear neighbors. Unfortunately, housekeeping missed vacuuming under the bed, and the narrow shower leaked water onto the floor. Breakfast is available but I didn't try it. Good potential, but needs better cleaning and maintenance.

I had an excellent stay at Hôtel Esplanade the first week of December for the Christmas Markets. The hotel was very conveniently located near a tram stop so that it was fast and easy to get down to the city center. More than that, it was a warm and quiet refuge to recover for the evening and at the end of the night. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were two bars, two coffee shops, and a convenience store all within short walking distance. Would highly recommend!
