La propiedad es buena. El cuarto muy limpio y la cama muy cómoda. Solo que no tiene muchas amenidades, es solo para dormir.

This is a good value place to stay however note that it is quite possible that the rooms they are offering on Expedia are the ones on the main floor next to the kitchen and dining table. As such, if you are a light sleeper or otherwise sensitive to noise, it can get noisy with people coming and going. Also it is difficult to have any privacy or natural light because if you open the curtains there is the main table and a lot of foot traffic. There are three rooms that have this issue and they are likely to be the ones offered on a discount via Expedia. Unfortunately even if you request a different room, such as the much better upstair rooms on the second floor, that you may arrive to find that they gave it to someone else, even though you had spoken with management and initially they had said you could have an upstairs room. For these reasons I would caution against booking a room via Expedia for more than one night in case you get stuck with a bad room. If there is nothing else available in Rinconada then it isn't a terrible option but you will spend most of your time out of your room and on the roof, like I did.

Close to a great beach and restaurants. The rooftop is a great place to hang out when it’s not hot. There is a kitchen with everything you need. There are tables downstairs to hang around and chat with the other guests. The room is spacious and has a mini fridge.

Excelente hotel, si es que buscas utilizarlo solo como checkpoint para dormir. La atención excelente y muy tranquilo.

Had a great stay here. The room was impeccable, cleaned regularly with sheets and towels changed. AC and fan in the bedroom. Wifi worked very well in my room. Really good service and the owners are super nice, friendly and very helpful. Location is perfect in Rinconada next to the Nopal café. Nothing to complain about.

We had never stayed in Mexico (Puerto Escondido) and we are so glad this place was our introduction. Very friendly staff. Our room was a great fit for my wife, me, our son, and our small dog. The staff did a great job cleaning as well. Warm water. Soft bed. Located next to a cafe and other eating options down the way. We’d live here if we could!

Toda la noche sonó una música fuerte de algún lugar cercano la cual se dejo de escuchar a las 7 de la mañana. Junto a mi ventana estaban tres climas que se escuchaban hasta adentro, en el baño no había mosquitero y los de las ventanas estaban despegados (amanecí con muchos piquetes de insectos); la reservación no la respetaron porque dijeron que apareció hasta ese día en la mañana y me dieron otro alojamiento; no tiene vista al mar, el hotel está atrás de una construcción enorme en obra negra.

Increíble estancia, mejor que en las fotos, AC, TV, la cama riquísima para descansar! limpieza de la habitación a diario, una ubicación muy céntrica, a poco minutos de la playa, restaurantes, cafés, a un lado está un cafesito muy rico para desayunar. La habitación cuenta con un frigobar el cual es de mucha ayuda! El personal fue muy amable.

Super bien, muy limpio y muy amables

There were many things wrong with this hotel. First, it doesn't look any like the pictures. The property is old, the rooms are dirty and full of insects (which I know, it's Puerto, but this was too much, there were dead ants inside the fridge), the blankets and towels were dirty full of stains. My bathroom curtain fell down when I was taking a shower and they never fixed it so the bathroom was always wet. They say they have amenities but they only give you two hand soaps. The WC seat was broken, and pieces were flying out every time I sit on it. But the worst I think that it was when I arrived and figured out they don't take cards, so you have to pay with cash. Any part of the reservation process mentions that. So I had the owner over me my entire stay until I found a way to get some cash and pay. I called Expedia to get some help, and every time I called they gave me different information. It was terrible. I do not recommend this place at all.

Excelente ubicación, a 5 minutos caminando de Playa Carrizalillo. Habitaciones limpias, bien equipadas y muy cómodas. Personal muy amable.

I came to visit Puerto Escondido a few days after a hurricane impacted the area. The airline refused to offer me a refund or credit. So I went through with my original travel plans. It was a very quiet hotel. I was probably the only guest there one or two days. The room was nice. Easy to use a/c unit in the room. Ceiling fan in the room also. Small mini fridge in the room. The water in the shower is a little cool which is perfect for when you come back from the beach and need to cool down. I recommend arriving to Puerto Escondido with plenty of pesos so you won't have to worry about finding an exchange place or an ATM.

The safe was broken and it couldn't be repaired; moving to another room was not an option. The lights in the sink area were broken. Not a very friendly place.

Place was great very close to airport and restaurants. A/c worked fine. My only disappointment was the bed. Even though it was a king size mattress it was hard.

It was a really good stay. Very easy to check in and out. Clean and simple rooms.

The property itself is above average. Staff did a solid job cleaning the room before our arrival. Conveniently located near dining, shopping, and the beaches. AC worked great. It made me a little nervous that the door handle to the room was loose. It locked, but if you moved it hard enough, it would probably open. My biggest gripe about this place was the check-in process and attendant at check-in. Nobody was there upon our arrival. We waited a few minutes and somebody eventually showed up. She was rude and condescending. It was as if she couldn't be bothered. She didn't want to give us much information, so we had to keep asking her questions, which only made her more annoyed. Eventually, we met Rogelio, who was much warmer and friendlier. Also, please update your info at the front desk. Lots of outdated info, including phone number.

Es un lugar muy bien ubicado, tiene varios lugares para comer al rededor y esta muy cerca de las playas, nos hospedamos una semana y la verdad es muy cómodo, el señor Rogelio es muy atento y amable, la verdad fue una experiencia muy satisfactoria

The neighbourhood was very local. I rarely heard English being spoken due to the location. Rincanada is off the beaten path of Puerto Escondido. The beach is a 7 minute walk. Best Vacay ever!

Queda super cerca de Playa Carrizalillo, Puerto Angelito y Manzanillo. Zona tranquila en la noche. Hay muchos restaurantes cerca

Property was perfectly located near a strip of Stores and restaurants. Neighborhood was very safe and quiet at night.

Super bien ubicada si lo que quieres es ir a la playa Carrizalillo, a menos de 5 min a pie
