Exceptional. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this Inn. They had both the fire pit and fire place lit at night offering a very inviting calming area. They had activities outside and an amazing view. Inside was decorated beautifully and was very clean. Staff was accommodating and breakfast was wonderful. There were no added or hidden costs, they offered quality options for drinks and snacks.

Honestly one of the best and most beautiful hotels in CT. We've been staying here for many years and have seen the renovations and amenities evolve and improve through the years. Every time our stay only gets better. Gorgeous, tasteful decor, generous amenities (free snacks in a beautiful gathering room with games!). TVs in every room. Friendly staff, delicious free breakfast and just an all around wonderful place. Location is great too. Litchfield is a lovely, quaint town filled with boutiques and restaurants. The inn is also about 20 min drive to Mohawk ski mountain.

This place has a great breakfast. Also, they have board games and 2-3 nice sitting areas for visiting. My son and I had a good time playing chess-- not trapped in the room! It is a smaller hotel with very helpful staff. We will stay again.

Beautiful, beautiful hotel and outstanding customer service and attention to detail. Not only was my room designed impeccably and clean, but there were free waters, snacks and freshly baked cookies available upon arrival. Their breakfast was outstanding (and free) and they had coffee, beverages and snacks available at all times of day - something almost all other hotels will charge you for. This is hospitality and going the extra mile to make customers happy. Love, love, loved my stay, thank you!

The toilet in our bathroom was broken. It wouldn't flush and ran all night. Staff was great about trying to fix it No towel racks was odd. Towels had to be stacked on sink. Breakfast muffins and pastries were stale, maybe because it was Christmas week.

The room itself is fine, however, for the price, it's time to touch up the furniture, elevator cab and some of the common areas where wear and tear are beginning to show. A lovely inn option in Litchfield. Bear in mind, this venue hosts lots of weddings and other events, so you might want to avoid it on a weekend. Staying here on Sunday and Monday nights, it was peaceful and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Would be nice if there were some food and wine options at the hotel after a long day out and about in the area. Did not feel like getting back in the car to drive for a meal.

We stayed in the "cabin" room - it was very nice and clean and definitely had a cabin feel. Bed was too firm for my taste, but otherwise the room was very comfortable. The Inn was lovely and provided free snacks/water. The complementary breakfast was excellent - pancakes, muffins, croissants, granola, yogurt, potatoes, made-to-order eggs/omelets, etc - made me wish we were staying more than one day since there is only so much I could eat for breakfast.

Our four poster bed and pretty room was a treat for us. The hotel needs a general update to its breakfast room, and some of the other appointments in the room (fake fireplace, tub installation. But it was quite nice, just a touch dated.

The staff went above and beyond to make you feel at home. The property and grouds were in excellent condition. Very quiet and relaxing. But yet close to all the shopping and restaurants. I’m already planning my return trip in the fall!

This is a very, conveniently located hotel. Many dining options are close by as well as things to do. We visited both the white memorial for bad viewing/counting as well as white flower gardens. Staff is very nice. Food was enjoyable. Will return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Litchfield Inn in Litchfield, Connecticut. The hotel was lovely, and fit right in with the historic colonial town. From the chandelier and spiral staircase to the cozy sitting area by the fireplace, this hotel was really very close to perfect. It also comes with a complementary breakfast. We have eaten at many hotel breakfasts, and they are usually not very good at all. But this breakfast was amazing! There was made-to-order omelettes or eggs any style you like. They had a homemade French toast casserole that was just incredible, as well as fresh pumpkin bread, which was delicious and moist, and also made there at the hotel. Everything here was fresh and top-notch. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay at the Litchfield Inn!
