We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved this hotel! Beautiful grounds, pool, tennis court, billiard and excellent customer service from hotel and restaurant staff. The room was clean, spacious, with a small balcony, queen beds very comfortable. Our stay included a la carte breakfast, which was tasty and filling. We had dinner at the steakhouse, which has a nice decor and delicious food and wine choices. The hotel staff was nice to organize a breakfast to-go for us since we had an early morning flight. Great hotel, highly recommend!

Large comfortable rooms, nice grounds. Pool was not clean or heated. Traffic getting in and put of hotel was a nightmare (not hotel's fault, but still part of the experience). Good breakfast and coffee in room.

El lugar es muy lindo, los empleados muy amables. Hay habitaciones donde no llega el wifi, pero el muchacho nos cambió de habitación. Tiene piscina y juegos para niños, metegol y pool también. Una cancha de tenis, te prestan las pelotas y raquetas. Las camas son demasiado cómodas. Lo recomiendo

Parking wasn’t great. It was safe but very little parking. Reception actually made us move so owner could have our spot which was odd. They were having a wedding and it was extremely loud until 4:45 am. Tv did not work correctly. No blow dryer or coffee machine in room. Restaurant was okay but not great. Area was extremely sketchy and would never walk around.

Wow. This property can host any group. They have a little of everything and still very peaceful in the city. Whether it’s a family, friend group or solo traveler, they’re got it. Great parking, a lot of entertainment like pool, tennis, fine restaurants or bar. Very visually pleasing and easy check in. Staff is professional and the food is very good.

The property is in an ideal location for flying in or out of the airport. The rooms are large and the onsite restaurant is a great bonus! The gym and pool are not in the best shape but everything else on the property was nice.

I stayed here for 6 days on my visit to Costa Rica. The Good: The steakhouse restaurant itself is very nice. The staff is very friendly and professional. There is free breakfast every morning, Birds will wake you up (that's a good thing). Security at the front gate. The Bad: We arrived during what appears to be hotel renovations so there were lots of bricks/materials laying around the property as you enter. My view in a king suite was bricks and steel rods. The free breakfast only has 4 options so if you stay longer than a week you are eating the same food everyday. The pool is at the front of the hotel - and while there it was not clean, so we never used it. The king suite did not have a phone or an iron. Not sure how we are to order room service without a phone. Had to ask front desk for an iron. I put the light on in the bathroom and was greeted by the largest cockroach I have ever seen in my life - talk about fear factor. The hotel is on a busy street. The rooms look old. The front desk closes at 10. One night our key would not work so we had to look for security to get a new key at 1 in the morning.

It was the last night in this hotel while traveling around Costa rica, but we were very disappointed... in the room had a very unpleasant smell, the bed linen was not ironed as if it had already been used. We had a reservation with breakfast because it was only from 6:30 in the morning, we couldn't get it, we had a flight... we wanted to get it 15 minutes earlier or takeaway, but they didn't give us such a service, even though the hotel has a big restaurant.. we traveled for almost two weeks, but in other there was no problem in the hotels... I don't recommend it, sorry!

Die Unterkunft ist in der Nähe des Flughafens gelegen und für einen Zwischenstopp ausreichend. Die Zimmer insbesondere das Bad war nicht sehr sauber ( Wasserflecken auf dem Armaturen) und das Wasser in der Dusche lief schlecht ab. Das Frühstück war etwas wenig es gab kein Buffet und man erhielt eine Portion pro Person. Die Säfte waren nicht frisch sondern sirupartig. Für ein so Obstreiches Land wie Costa Rica sehr schade. Bedient wurde man nur zu Beginn des Frühstücks. Die größte Enttäuschung war der Pool. Dieser war sehr dreckig und es gab nur 5 Liegestühle welche alle belegt waren. Niemand wollte aber im Pool schwimmen. Für einen kurzen Halt ist das Hotel in Ordnung aber insgesamt nichts besonderes und alles etwas lieblos und ungepflegt.

The Junior Suite was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the outdoor space (pool and gardens). The bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned properly (a spot was attracting ants), and we were surprised not to receive housekeeping service for a 2-night stay, so no coffee for the second morning. No towels were offered for the pool, so our room towels got a lot of use! Finally the front desk arranged a taxi to the airport that was a no-show, so at 4:30 am we had to go to the street to flag down a taxi.

Hotel was in good clean condition, staff were nice and the included breakfast was good! The road in front of this hotel is a nightmare with traffic so plan to add at least 20 mins on to the trip anywhere. The room we had was situated right by the check out desk .Since there are no elevators, starting at about 5am I could hear people dragging suitcases down the stairs, talking loudly, and kids screaming. I am a deep sleeper living in Manhattan and this was still extremely irritating woke me up every 15 minutes or so.

This property is great and convenient. Rooms are spacious and clean. We just had issues with the tv losing its signal. We had to ask the front desk to help us several times. Besides that rooms were very comfortable with great beds.

Super classy cowboy-themed hotel! The rooms have been remodeled, featuring a big tub and a big bed. What we loved most was the location—just 15-20 minutes from San Jose Airport. The steakhouse was superb, with excellent service and beautifully antique-style interiors. The customer service was outstanding, and breakfast was great too! This is officially my new favorite hotel near the airport in San Jose. I’ll definitely be back next time!

We chose to stay in Rodeo for our first night in CR, as it was close to the airport and had a steakhouse so was a good layover option before touring. The hotel is basic but clean and the receptions staff were very friendly. We were told there were no reservations available for the steakhouse. Fortunately we spoke to the restaurant directly and managed to get a table toward the end of service, there were no other dining options around the hotel had we not. The surrounding roads are busy and limited pedestrian footpaths (which appears normal). San Jose centre is around 16km away. We booked a car via the hotel (separate company) but we are very dissatisfied with what has been supplied and not what was agreed and consequently overpriced.

We have stayed here 3 times in the past 2 years. Only for a night each time but the rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable and the restaurant serves wonderful food. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for a night in advance of a morning flight back to the states. We believed it was more convenient to the airport than it is. I suppose that is on us but it was a 25 min taxi ride at 7 AM. Waze showed it at about 45 min the evening prior with rush hour traffic. I suppose that is on me but consider something closer if planning to use it as a convenient access to airport.

We visited from Texas and very much enjoyed our stay here. Access to the property is off of a busy road, but once on the grounds it is spacious and peaceful. Absolutely hope to stay here again.

Although the property is a little older, it is well maintained and very clean. It is in a high traffic area and due to heavy traffic, getting to shopping areas was challenging. Probably the same in areas so near San Jose and the airport. Otherwise, we were very comfortable here.

Parking wasn’t great. It was safe but very little parking. Reception actually made us move so owner could have our spot which was odd. They were having a wedding and it was extremely loud until 4:45 am. Tv did not work correctly. No blow dryer or coffee machine in room. Restaurant was okay but not great. Area was extremely sketchy and would never walk around.

The property was beautiful and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was good and convenient. The cracked toilet and the less than inviting swimming pool were a bit disappointing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and had a good steak meal on the Saturday (Sunday was closed for dinner).

We loved our room. We had a beautiful suite. The grounds are lovely. Enjoyed swimming laps in the pool and working out in the gym. Breakfast is good. Unfortunately, I do not recommend the steakhouse for dinner. Steaks are overcooked, chewy, and not Argentine cuts, but instead, poor quality meat. I was very disappointed.

We did not like that the restaurant closed early on Sunday. We were not able to have dinner there, as we had planned. Had to go off-site to dine. That was one reason we picked this place - ease of evening dining.

Great property, our room was very clean and comfortable. Steakhouse on site was delicious We ate dinner and breakfast there (breakfast was included and made to order) and it was some of the 2 best meals on our trip. Highly recommend this property.
