Great food, entertainment and drinks. The facility itself is in need of repairs and updates. When it rains the walkways internal and external flood. The rooms are alittle dirty, but the floor plan in the family suites is excellent giving kids and parents separate but connected sleeping spaces.

A quiet clean hotel close to airport. On site cafe with delicious food and their own craft beers. Outside was a pool, patio, walking paths thru a garden of flowering plants and trees. They provide a shuttle to or from the airport

Quick stop over on my way out the next morning. Wish I had more time.I would have stayed longer. Beautiful open air lobby. The grounds were gorgeous and the pool area was awesome.

This hotel was great. I liked the open air lobby and the surrounding gardens. The only thing that would have made it better was if the restaurant was open in the afternoon.

What a hidden gem in an otherwise industrial area. There is not much nearby, but it has a large pool, peaceful grounds, and a great restaurant onsite, so no need to venture out. We only stayed one night en route to somewhere else in country. It's close to the airport, but far enough away so it doesn't sound like airplanes are landing right outside your window (like some other places I've stayed).

Excellent place to stay if you have an early morning flight. They have amazing craft beer and food at the restaurant. The pool area is very nice. All the personal is kind and helpful. I would stay there again if I come back to San Jose.

The property is showing its age but the new restaurant, Cactus, is fun. The people are lovely and helpful. It is very convenient to the airport and I would stay there again.

If you expect clean sheets, this is not the pace for you! The desk clerk in the evening when we arrived was wonderful. She spoke fluent English, which was helpful with my limited Spanish. The open air reception area was welcoming. The man at the desk in the morning spoke very little English, which isn't a problem until you need to discuss an important issue. We stayed here twice, one night each time, for our first night and our last night in Costa Rica. The area around the hotel looked dubious, but inside the guarded gate, it was quite nice. It is close to the airport and they offer one free shuttle with your stay. Our breakfast was delicious. I was pleased with my first stay and even recommended it to my daughter and son-in-law as a decent place to stay before catching a flight. My daughter told me that her drain was plugged. We didnt have a problem with ours. The front desk is open until 10pm. At 10:40pm on my second visit, after the lady at reception told us she would be gone for the night, I got in bed and found dirty socks in my bed. This means that Hotel Aeuropuerto DOES NOT WASH THE SHEETS BETWEEN GUESTS. They make the bed up nice and tight without changing linens. I couldn't sleep because I was worried about what all disgusting bodily fluids could be on the sheets. No wonderful staff, delicious breakfast, nice open air reception area, good price, convenience to the airport or free shuttle makes up for not washing sheets between guests. I'm disgus

The restaurant looked good and the property was a neat concept to have an old building as a hotel felt rich in history but the cleanliness was abismal. We encountered 5 live roaches and two dead ones. One of the dead roaches was so old it was stuck to the floor so it leads us to believe they never cleaned the room in between uses. The ceiling was decorated with hundreds of dead insects and the tv had a broken line all the way across so watching tv to help drown the mosquitoes out wasn’t an option. We were traveling with small children and they didn’t have anything to help with that aspect not even a mini fridge to help keep milk for the baby. I wouldn’t stay there ever again.

The room had a bad smell. Reception staff was not very friendly.

El lugar es económico, pero es una propiedad que merece una renovación. Estaba limpio pero tenía mucho olor a humedad dentro del cuarto.

Super clean rooms. Attentive staff. Airport transport was efficient and professional. Off the beaten path slightly but very calming and beautiful atmosphere once in the property. We landed in San Jose around 11pm so this was an awesome hotel to stay at for the night before heading to La Fortuna the following day.

This hotel is older in age and isn't the most prestigious looking one either. But I have to say that the rooms are comfortable, clean, and the staff are all excellent. The pool area is very nice and the surroundings are really green and kept up. There is good water pressure and hot water all day. There is a restaurant connected to it and although they have a limited menu, the food was delicious. You can order from the restaurant and they can deliver it to your room if you want to eat in. The staff all speak English and are very accommodating and friendly. I have zero complaints about this hotel. It is low key, comfortable, and a great place to enjoy some peace.

Great check in. Rooms a bit outdated. Breakfast was okay. Good for a night or two. Close to the highway so you hear the noise.

this was fine for the one night we stayed here. Would not book it for a longer stay in the area. It's not the most convenient of locations and the noise insulation is lacking. We were awakened by people either leaving for a very early flight or people checking in, in the middle of the night. . . suitcases rolling down open air tile hallways, chatter, doors opening and closing, etc.

This neighborhood is not one that you walk around, very industrial area. Also the hotel is not actually that close to the airport and the shuttle doesnt run consistently. 4 km from the airport, easy to go to the sirport but not easy to go the hotel. Very old and basic, but good services and good restaurant.

Great location and budget-friendly, but the space feels quite outdated and could use some TLC. The finishes are very basic, which gives it a slightly unpolished and less clean appearance.

This is my favorite place to stay when I’m flying in or out of SJO. Beautiful landscaping, comfortable clean rooms, excellent on site restaurant and transportation to or from the airport. Also very nice pool area. Will return whenever I’m in the area.

Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the outdoor patio space was very nice. Check in process did not go smooth. I had an early morning arrival flight (1250 a.m.). Traveling with 5 children and an elderly adult I knew it was imperative we had transportation and an early check in. To ensure there'd be no issue I made the site aware of this need at the time of booking. Unfortunately when arriving we waited/ slept in the lobby a few hours, manger was rude and condescending etc. Eventually everything worked out but it did start the trip off a bit rocky; we only stayed one night.

Staff was very accommodating, willing to help no matter the request.

We asked for a crib to be provided when we made the booking and the listing showed it as an amenity that is included. However, when we arrived and asked for it, a playpen that was not properly packed and stored was given to us, with the mattress missing. When we attempted to assemble it, we discovered it was broken. There was no other crib available so we did not have a safe sleep option for our toddler. The lady at the front desk (short hair and glasses) was not friendly and acted as if it was an inconvenience that we requested a crib. Facilities were not the cleanest and I do not recommend staying here.

The hotel has no regularly shuttle service form the San Jose airport to the property, one has to call the hotel reception and request a pickup. The little restaurant in the hotel has very poor selection, food quality and high prices. The only reason to book this property is the extremely high prices regular hotel chains charge in the area. Costa Rica is obnoxiously expensive for pretty much everything.

Convenient to the airport and car rentals with good shuttle services. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast included. I would definitely stay here again

Unique hotel with lovely gardens, open air restaurant and friendly staff. Although it’s on the highway and near airport with AC on noise isn’t too bad. Convenient airport shuttle.

Good, easy to get to, secure and beautiful

The shuttle was easy to find and waiting for us despite our delayed flight, which was a big plus. The hotel isn’t far from the airport, but as others mentioned, it’s not in the most pleasant area. To be fair, it matches its description and meets expectations for a 3-star stay. However, I wouldn’t return, as the savings don’t quite make up for the loss in convenience compared to nearby big-chain hotels like Holiday Inn or Hampton, which are closer to the airport with 24/7 shuttles and easy rental car access.

The property was clean but dated. Staff was very nice and though it was tucked back and attempted to be private it was near a busy and loud roadway. It was however very close and convenient to the San Jose Airport.

Everything was good except for traffic noise location is very close to busy highway. We used the airport shuttle coming and going no issues. Food and drinks at adjoining restaurant were great.

Didnt stay long just overnight to catch a plane in the morning. Checked in at 10 pm, left at 4:30am. Close to airport - the road on the way there was very bumpy.

A convenient and great experience. The brew house is a must - excellent food, craft beers and kombucha.

The property is well located to the airport, with shuttles every half hour. The Hotel is very clean and well run, we enjoyed our short stay. We were surprised by the excellent food in the restaurant and the brewery that had great beer. We will definitely stay there again!

Front desk staff was very helpful and answered my questions. The restaurant onsite was delicious and very reasonable.

Fantastic place to stay if you need a place close to the airport . Really enjoyed their restaurant with their own brewery.

Overall the hotel was very nice. The service in the restaurant was a bit slow and we were setved shrimps that had gone bad. The chefs came out to talk with us and were very apologetic.

Helpful staff. Clean and fairly modern. Airport shuttle. Location is close to airport but isolated and not really walking distance to any services. Luckily the on-site restaurant makes good steaks and salads.
