Air conditioning no cool at all

The rooms are modern and very clean. However, service was almost non-existent. Staff constantly sitting in the courtyard smoking rather than assisting guests. Coffee station in the foyer out of order and judging from the sign, it has been non functional for a long time.

The room was clean with a modern bathroom and great wifi. My main issue was that although it is stated that the room is airconditioned, the air-conditioning was in fact turned off. When I asked about this I was told that it was because summer was over, despite it being a warm Autumn. The personnel at reception where able to find a fan for me but it would not work, I informed of this the following day, they got me another fan which also did not work! I tolerated the stay with the windows open, but the noses from the street is considerable. Luckily I had early morning appointments so the noise acted as an alarm clock. Although everything else about the hotel was good, I believe the switched off air-conditioning system constitutes false advertising.

Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Hier und da müsste einiges erneuert werden. Vor allem das Schließ/offnung Mechanismus für die Key-card war ser fragil. Ich musste sogar Zimmer wechseln weil die Offnung nicht funktioniert hat. Personal war sehr sehr freundlich. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Sogar das Omlett war sehr schmackhaft. Und Preislich auch akzeptabel. Alles in Allem war alles in Ordnung.

Goed hotel, nette ruime kamer. Badkamer met inloopdouche. Goed bed en kussens. Weinig geluid in de kamer van buitenaf die zijn goed geïsoleerd Prima ontbijt, ruime keuze. Goede stadfietsen gratis beschikbaar in het hotel. Op loopafstand van de metro. Voldoende restaurants in directe omgeving.

Everything was great. Strongly recommended. Only the coffee machine in the lobby was not working all our stay.

Da vi ankom kl 23.30, viste det sig, at ingen af de udleverede kort kunne låse os ind. Så måtte vi hele vejen ned fra 4. sal og få receptionisten med op, så han kunne låse os ind med sin nøgle. Kedelig morgenmad. Juice er ikke kold. Bacon er kogt. Buffet virker snasket. Kaffen fra maskinen er fin. Der blev ikke gjort rent under vores ophold. Værelse og bad var fint. Vi boede i afdeling B.

Beautiful hotel with a very artistic vibe and amazing helpful staff, oh and they have free bikes to use and great coffee and tea.

Super Lage (10 Min zu Fuß vom Westbahnhof, 5 Min zur Mariahilferstraße), sehr freundliches Personal, Zimmer zweckmäßig und sauber, nur der Teppichboden hat einige Flecken. Frühstück passt. Insgesamt Preis/Leistungsverhältnis okay. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt gerne wieder!

Few minutes walk to u bahn, very quite area, clean and cozy room

This place was average in all respects. Clean enough, but stains on the carpet and scuffed up walls, places where a picture had obviously fallen Etc. Nothing to turn me away but was obviously steadily declining from neglect over time and lack of upkeep. The room was ok, bathroom was cramped but the room itself was larger than you’d expect from an eu hotel. There was only one English channel on the tv - sky news, but you’re not coming to Vienna to watch tv. I paid for breakfast included and when checking in they said as much, but the next morning I was not on the list and had to pay for a dismal breakfast. Save yourself and don’t pay for breakfast here, plenty of cafes within a few blocks that have much better food. I disputed this charge when checking out and the clerk was very uncooperative. Left a very bad impression as I checked out, this review would probably have been a lot better if they’d waived the charges. Location is ok, there are restaurants and cafes around, and a main shopping street a couple blocks up you can follow to the main tourist area, about a 25 minute walk. Overall this is a passable hotel at an ok price, but I’d expected a bit better.

It was a great hotel,the room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and kind,and breakfast was great too,and it was close near the shopping street Mariahilfer Straße,thank you very much,I recommended it to everyone,when I'm back in Austria again I will definitely book it again With kind regards Jan van Beek

Great value! Really well located and easy to get anywhere in the city from the hotel. The bed was comfy and the AC worked really well to keep the room cool. My only complaint would be that the carpet in my room was pretty gross and stained all over.

La habitación era enorme, cómoda y limpia pero la alfombra de la habitación le hace falta limpieza o cambiarla. Hay un olor desagradable en el pasillo llegando al ascensor B. El servicio fue excelente, y el desayuno muy bueno y variado.

Our superior bedroom had hugh bed and very comfortable to sleep on. Quiet location and local supermarket "Billa" is within 5 minutes walk. Walking distance to underground. But the room carpet is disgusting with lots of stain and greasy around dressing table. Luckily I bought a pair fitflop to walk around. The shower head is broken, riser can't adjust the height. The most disappointed is breakfast bar. We had Sunday leftover fresh fruit because pineapple and apple turned brown. Cucumber was dry. Not enough mini bread or crossiants but the waitress was friendly and helpful. She told the kitchen staff and cooked more at 9:30am. All the cakes were dry on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday served the same food but more quantity because they had a large group came in. Definite not worth £16 breakfast. We felt they are on tight budget and not many option to choose. Only served 1 choice of slice bread. Not fresh juice, they are cheap squash. All cakes are not honemade. No English tea in restaurant, no decaffeinated coffee or non dairy milk option. No kettle in the bedroom.

We reserved a room with two separate beds but got one with a single bed, with the staff claiming two beds were “not guaranteed.” They insisted the hotel was fully booked, but that felt like a blatant lie! At breakfast, half an hour before it ended, we were the only guests, and the parking lot had just a few cars. Seriously, that’s your “full occupancy”? The key cards worked only sporadically, forcing us to constantly trek to the reception. There, we faced long queues and staff so slow it seemed like their first day. Every question led to a 15-minute phone call, only to hear, “There’s nothing we can do.” Fifteen minutes for an excuse? That’s just mocking the guests! When we, exhausted, asked to cancel the second night, they coldly replied, “You can check out, but no refunds.” The breakfast was abysmal, with the bare minimum selection of food imaginable and worn-out chairs that looked like they belonged in a cheap diner, not a four-star hotel. Dirty rooms, terrible noise, unreliable key cards, lies about bookings, and indifferent staff made our stay unbearable. elaya hotel vienna city west is a waste of money and nerves. Vienna has plenty of better hotels that actually respect their guests.

Ein unkompliziertes Hotel mit super Shopping-Möglichkeiten „ums Eck“. Das gebuchte Familienzimmer war sehr geräumig, das Personal war zuvorkommend.

Wunderbares Hotel! Großes Zimmer, großes Bad, darin viele Ablagemöglichkeiten. Sehr freundliche MitarbeiterInnen. Kostenlose Kaffeespezialitäten. Und nachts sehr ruhig! Dabei eine fantastische Lage, 5 Minuten zur U-Bahn Zieglerstrasse. Täglich wurde blitzsauber geputzt! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Einziger Verbesserungswunsch: Der nette Innenhof wird bis nach 23 Uhr von Rauchern und anderen Gästen lautstark frequentiert, da ist an frühes Schlafen nicht zu denken. Es wäre schön, wenn der Innenhof ab 22 Uhr nicht mehr zugänglich wäre...

Hotel ok, banheiro e quarto limpo. Porém precisa de atualização, banheiro bem antigo. Cafe da manhã ruim, poucas frutas, pratos e talheres faltando e apenas uma pessoa no serviço.

Das Zimmer war groß, das Bett war recht gemütlich. Es war ruhig und recht sauber. JEDOCH: ca.1/2 Stunde vor Check-In kam die Nachtricht einer Umbuchung aufgrund eines technischen Problem auf das Schwesterhotel im 1. Bezirk. Für uns ein Riesenproblem, der Standort des Hotels wurde bewusst so ausgewählt und kurz vor unseren Termin sollte alles geändert werden. Ein Anruf im Hotel führte zu nichts, es hat niemand abgehoben. Ein Anruf im Schwesterhotel führte ebenso zu nichts, da die Person am Telefon nichts verstand und ständig das Zimmer stornieren wollte. Da wir ohnehin schon fast da waren, sind wir ins gebuchte Hotel gefahren, um herauszufinden was los war. Dort wäre genug Personal gewesen, um besagtes Telefon abzuheben, jedoch bestand da wohl kein Interesse. Check-Ins wurden ganz normal durchgeführt und so fragten wir uns, was denn das große Problem sein kann. Es war dann klar - schlichtweg Überbuchung! Als wir der Rezeptionistin erklärt haben, dass wir nach dem Geschäftsessen um 3 Uhr früh nicht durch halb Wien fahren werden und das Hotel aus gutem Grund hier gewählt haben, meinte die Dame, dass man doch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln fahren kann. Natürlich! Ich fahre gerne 35min mit dem Nachtbus, obwohl mein gebuchtes Hotel um die Ecke des Lokals ist. Eine lächerliche Rückmeldung! Glücklicherweise hat sie sich dann recht rasch um die Umbuchung anderer Gäste bemühlt. Als jedoch Nachts die Zimmerkarte nicht funktionierte war der Frust schon sehr groß... Sehr schade!

Boden ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Bad war sauber. Nur auf Wunsch wird wird das Zimmer gemacht und Handtücher gewechselt. Standard erst nach 3 Tagen. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig uns frisch. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gesamteindruck gut.

Nothing around

This was a great hotel option for those looking to save money. The room was simple, but clean. The bathroom had a full tub and the beds were comfortable. The add-on breakfast was very good and a cheaper option than most area cafes. It was nice to start the day with a large meal that lasted us until dinner time. The hotel is located two blocks away from the Mariahil Strasse shopping street, so there are tons of restaurants to chose from for dinner. It's also just two blocks to the nearest subway stop and then just two stops from the center of town. Super convenient for sightseeing. I would recommend this hotel to budget conscious tourists.

De fleste fælles områder i hotellet fremstår nedslidte Morgenmaden var ud af mine sidste 50 rejser i Europa nok den dårligste. Der var kun et absolut minimum af tørre boller en smule pålæg, kaffe og juice. Æg og bacon var decideret utiltalende, og man havde prøvet med en automatisk pandekage maskine hvilket resulterede i opbagte pandekager. Efter en rengøring på mit værelse havde man glemt at lægge håndklæder. Mine gardiner på værelset var ved at falde ned og kunne ikke trækkes ordentligt for. Personale virkede søde og imødekommende men på grund af morgenmaden vil jeg helt sikkert ikke besøge dette hotel igen

The dining room was absolutely unacceptable. There were no vegetables, no cheeses, and the breakfast was not good. I would not recommend it under any circumstances.”

Good experience during check in and check out; The pillow was too flat and not supportive. The breakfast selection was limited, and the bread was very hard and seemed to be from previous days.
