Booked a night with Breakfast for a fam of 4. Good room size, spotless toilet and shower, supplemental tea and coffee. Full Irish breakfast, scones, toasts, yougart drinks and juices included if you added a breakfast. Spacious free parking area but be reminded that it's at the back side and not at front of the hotel / along the road. Live traditional music on week-ends at the bar, I believed, as we spent the night. Dinner is a bit pricey though.

What a wonderful hotel! A little bit of a retro feel that is modern and impeccably clean. Staff was so welcoming, and parking behind the hotel and gated overnight gave us additional peace of mind. Breakfast was an abundant and generous. This hotel is one of those needle in a haystack gems you hope to find in a small town.

We had a wonderful time at Murphys Hotel, room was beautiful and spacious it was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was really lovely, a good choice of continental and a full irish which was delicious. We had evening meals here too and it's a big thumbs up to the chef. Also the owner and staff were were friiendly. Everything was great.

Staff at breakfast were lovely. Food was really nice with plenty of choice. Room 4 had a disgusting smell in the bathroom that came from the extractor fan that seemed to be linked to the kitchen extraction system. The smell in the room is totally unacceptable making us want to vomit. Fan had been taped over in bathroom to try to keep the smell out but it didn't work. The noise of the kitchen extraction could be heard in our room from 7.50 in the morning and went off at 8.50pm. Hotel was full so unable to ask for a change of room. There is no way this room should be rented out in this condition.

Room had a broken lock and we were given a huge key instead of a fob - wouldn’t close from inside (family was really scared sleeping with an unlocked door - have young kids). Sheets had stains and the room had a wierd smell. Overall the worst experience in Ireland and not worth our money spent :( Tired property and I would give a 2.5 star.

Great staff, friendly and happy to help. Stopped for work so just needed a nice bed and shower and they didn’t disappoint. Shower was great, clean room and bathroom. Nice strong shower for the early start. I ate in the restaurant and food was great. Good selection of beers and staff really nice Breakfast is well worth adding and set me up for the day.

Not too impressed with the hotel. In Room 25 we couldn't get Wifi, the rug was dirty, the floor by window felt like it was going to fall in, had to plug kettle in on floor as no plugins on wall and there was mold in the shower. Comfortable bed though. It really needs a redo. But some good points - large parking lot, good meals and desserts and very good breakfast staff.

Nice size room for a family right in town. Being right above the bar with live music until 11:30pm wasnt good with kids. Didnt get much sleep - no prior indication during booking process or during check-in was provided unfortunately. Breakfast included was good.

This hotel was absolutely lovely in every aspect. The staff were so nice and friendly. They were so warm and welcoming . We loved the shower in the bathroom, really powerful and plenty of space. The room was spotless . I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The bar was great , food was delicious and the breakfast was by far the nicest full Irish we have had in a long long time.

The hotel is very well maintained and equipped. The rooms are spacious and clean. We appreciated the excellent breakfast, the pleasant communication with the hotel staff, and the great possibility of parking behind the hotel. We didn't manage to try the hotel restaurant in the evening, because we didn't return from the trips until after 8.00 pm. The only thing that reduced the comfort was a lot of noise coming from outside - we don't know what was its source, perhaps some cooling unit, but it hummed 24 hours a day and was especially disturbing at night. The location of the hotel itself is otherwise quite quiet.

The staff waited for us to arrive as it was after 11pm. They were very nice and we had a very comfortable, quiet sleep. The water is VERY hot so be careful. Breakfast was excellent. We were able to park on the street right in front of the front door.

My only two complaints really was the bed because you can feel the springs through it and someone somewhere played loud music until a little after 11pm. Not bad but if you're tired and want to sleep early, you can't. Staff was friendly though. Not a bad price for the money. Back parking lot wasn't easy to find for a first timer, there should be signs out front.

Great Hotel in Tubbercurry. Lots of positives but one big negative for a business stay. Staff are great, food is great, bar is great, parking is great. Late breakfast is NOT great, 8am to 8.15am just doesn’t work. However I live with this as other option means staying nearly 20 miles away. Stayed for 3 days and had to miss all 3 breakfasts as I can not rock up at customers at 9am. However put that aside it’s a lovely hotel and I would highly recommend if not after an early exit. I just pop to the shop next door.

Great to be in Tubbercurry during the Old Fair Festival. We dined at the Central dining room last night and both of us had simply yummy roasts. Wonderful friendly smiling staff too.

Great staff, friendly and happy to help. Stopped for work so just needed a nice bed and shower and they didn’t disappoint. Shower was great, clean room and bathroom. Nice strong shower for the early start. I ate in the restaurant and food was great. Good selection of beers and staff really nice Breakfast is well worth adding and set me up for the day.

What a wonderful hotel! A little bit of a retro feel that is modern and impeccably clean. Staff was so welcoming, and parking behind the hotel and gated overnight gave us additional peace of mind. Breakfast was an abundant and generous. This hotel is one of those needle in a haystack gems you hope to find in a small town.

We had a wonderful time at Murphys Hotel, room was beautiful and spacious it was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was really lovely, a good choice of continental and a full irish which was delicious. We had evening meals here too and it's a big thumbs up to the chef. Also the owner and staff were were friiendly. Everything was great.

Lovely spacious room. We only stayed 1 night. Lots of parking spaces for guests. Although we didnt eat in the hotel we enjoyed the local Indian Restaurant a few doors down. Would recommend this hotel as it was nice and clean with lovely staff members.

Three Night Stay. We had a wonderful stay at Murphy's Hotel, we stayed for 3 nights, breakfast every morning was delicious and piping hot. Great variety of food. The hotel is located in a convenient village for getting around. The staff were all very helpful and polite. Our room was excellent and very clean. The bar was a great advantage for evening time. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel with a comfortable bed and very powerful shower. The breakfast was a good Irish breakfast, the only downer was the bacon was hard, as if it had been pre cooked and left under a hot lamp.
