Not able to check in early but 3 on the dot. Pool was very rough and several large orb spiders inside the building that faced the water… lobby and pool area. Pool area was extremely hot and not ventilated well. Room was nice, though and view out the back was beautiful.

Breakfast was great! Location is beautiful. First day our room wasn’t cleaned. The pool room and water was so hot you couldn’t stand yourself. Area and pool weren’t cleaned, pool was full of sand. Someone had gotten sick on the outside dining area, took over 24 hours for it to be cleaned. Definitely a different stay this time. We stayed in 2024 Ane had a much better experience

Loved the location near the water. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great group of people. When placing reservation it was called "balcony" view and we thought it meant we had a balcony of our own plus the indoor pool did not look swimable. They said they were experimentating with new pool chemicals. I had a pool and it looks like someone was not keeping up with checking the chemicals daily. Green is not a pleasing pool color and it stayed that way the 5 days we were there.

Super friendly staff, very helpful. Facility very clean and maintained. Good choices for breakfast (did eat late one day and the food could have been hotter. Was hot the next day.) Great area with fantastic view of Lake Huron. (Lake view rooms well worth reserving.) Pool was super clean. Pool water a bit too cold. No hot tub. Will gladly return to this Hotel in the future.

Was informed at check in that the pool was closed indefinitely until further notice. That didn’t ruin my stay. Hotel is nice and in a good neighborhood, breakfast was decent. Would return but an open pool is ideal as advertised.

We booked a suite but seemed just like a standard hotel room. There was also pizza and cheesecake left from the previous guest in the refrigerator. I did mention it when we checked out but due to booking through Expedia, they weren’t able to do anything. Overall, it’s new and clean. Just very basic.

Our stay was really nice. New hotel with great employees. Their breakfast cook is terrific! The only thing I noticed was the carpet in our room was not completely clean just missed a few spots. Otherwise, a great spot.

Breakfast was a nice hot breakfast with omelets, potatoes, turkey sausage, bacon, pancakes, fresh cinnamon rolls, oatmeal, cereal, pastries, yogurt, and fresh fruit. However, if you are in your room for business, be aware the parking lot to the city park is on the lake side. It becomes very noisy and busy. Also the tv is not user friendly. You can only watch TV by casting from your phone or connecting an HDMI cable from your personal device. Otherwise a great stay

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean but you could see the construction finishes were rushed and there was not care taken to make things look nice. The room was impossible to sleep in, the air conditioning didn’t work unless you were up and moving so the room was a sauna all night long. Also, the people above us were pacing back and forth for hours in the middle of the night…..as if they may have been comforting an upset baby, but the footsteps were loud, so clearly there is no sound proofing between floors. Overall, not a place I’d wish to stay again.

Check in was a bit weird, the guy at the desk seemed inconvenienced by us being there (same guy at check out, completely different attitude - it was like day & night!) The room was great - clean & spacious. Breakfast was decent. Best thing about the property was the lake view! Absolutely stunning. And so close to the beach. Not much else to do in Oscoda than the beach, but definitely worth the trip if you get the weather.

Location is great next to a city park with beach and pier. Great views. Walkable to restaurants and some stores, coffee shop, ice cream. Breakfast was great. Very nice seating in lobby area. Not crowded like some hotels that offer breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet.TV remote was kind of odd, but may be just me. Liked so much decided to come back on return trip home!

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, everyone treated us like guests in their own home and made us feel welcome and special. The free breakfast buffet on Sunday morning had a variety of options, very good! The view from our lakeside room was incredible; watched the sunrise over the lake as I woke up. And you can’t beat the location literally steps from the beach—no need to cross a street!, all around fantastic and even better than I expected.

Rooms were super clean and very large. This is a new hotel only a few months old. The views from the Lakeside rooms are awesome. The front desk was friendly and check-in was very quick and efficient will definitely stay again in future when visiting family.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast options were limited. We were looking forward to a fresh, hot pancake for breakfast but we got there around 9:40 AM and the pancake maker was "out of service" yet there was two pitchers of syrup and butter set up next to it. Perhaps the breakfast attendant wanted to start cleaning up early. The doors to the serving area were promptly closed at 9:58 AM.

The hotel is fairly new so everything is in great condition. The breakfast is great with a mixture of hot and cold food. Rooms are nice and spacious. Staff is very friendly Only issue is the lotion in the bathroom is way to scented. Unscented would be best. And water next to the juice is not filtered. Them two little things would improve it greatly 😉
