Stayed 2 nights

A 300 year old inn that was super tranquil and interesting! Justin and Neville (a wonderfully behaved and affectionate miniature boxer) were wonderful hosts in this living piece of New England history. Modern amenities are modern plumbing and fast Internet! Breakfast is killer, and the conversation and chill vibes were icing on the cake. Had a great time!

I was pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the building and decor of the 18th century era. The owner puts great effort into making it an enjoyable experience. As a history fan this place surpassed my expectations. The breakfast was wonderful too!

A great change of pace from the usual hotels/motels on hotels.com. An historic home with real character as opposed to the frills of a more modern place. Justin is very knowledgable about the place he owns/runs and has made a real effort in furnishing it with memorabilia connected the home's history. A pleasure talking with him and he cooked up a delicious (much needed) hearty breakfast.

I love historical homes, and stay at them often. This one (built in 1717) takes the cake! It’s beautiful, authentic and extremely well-preserved. It’s literally a museum (open for tours on designated dates), but is also a homey and comfortable place to spend the night. The host / owner, Justin, is very personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the home’s history, as well as local history. Everything was clean, neat and comfortable. I’m looking forward to finding an excuse to come back and stay again. See the attached photo for my favorite room in the house: the kitchen.
