Clean, no complaints of the room. Pool is small, no hot tub. Our room was the first one off the lobby on the first floor and it was extremely loud in the morning when the lobby was filled with people eating breakfast very early so that was a bummer, with my 5 year old and 2 month old

The hotel and room itself were super clean. The beds were very comfortable and I enjoyed the large shower. Too bad it rained. Otherwise, we would have been able to enjoy the outdoor firepit! This hotel has it all; friendly staff, 24 hour coffee, a gym, pool, snack stop and it is clean!

The property overall was clean and new-ish. The door seal on the bottom of the shower door was hanging off about 6”. The pool was “out of order” for our stay, which is frustrating when you choose a hotel based on whether there is a pool or not, and then you can’t swim. The PM and Overnight desk people were very friendly and personable. The day shift desk person was hunched over and staring at her phone every time I walked through the lobby. Being pet friendly was a definite plus for us.

The pool was closed, none of the ice machines worked, the juice dispenser did not work at the breakfast area as well. The water that they offered in the lobby would not dispense. It was a clean, nice room but all of the amenities of the hotel were either broken our out of service.

Everything looks brand new. (Its 2 yrs old) Check in clerk was so pleasant and helpful. The room is very nice and clean. We went swimming the pool was alittle on the cold side for a warm pool. Also it would have been great to have a hottub, but ther isnt one. The front desk clerk offered to light an outdoor fire pit for us, which was extremely nice. Overall excellent stay!

It was ok, but the room I had was not that clean, they didn’t clean out the fridge had wine. Also the sheets wasn’t fresh. The swimming pool was dirty. If I have to rate it it will be a 6 out of 10

The room was nice but the water pressure was so low i couldn't wash my hands. I called the desk and they said they would send maintenance and it never got fixed. Also there were stains on the bedding. Other than that, everything was great.

Fantastic location for Pine Knob. The room was clean staff were great. The common areas hall way etc were filthy. There was a flosser lying on floor in hallway and the vacuum had definitely not been used for a while in hallway.

There was a lot of confusion concerning my bill, then I wound up being double charged. The two amounts were different, lol. When I called the office from home I was told the manager was the only one that could fix it and to "call back tomorrow"... very inconvenient.

Problem is I booked 3 rooms under the book now pay later. I’ve done this a bunch of times. We do it so once we get to the hotel each person can pay with their own card. I’ve never had a problem until now. My card was charged with all 3 rooms before we even got to the hotel. Now I’m out almost $700 while I wait the 3-5 days for a refund. Super frustrating. I’ve never had a hotel charge me before I even get there. This defeats the whole purpose of book now pay later. Very frustrating.

Dominic and the other gentleman at the front desk were struggling with the computer system running slow. They stayed calm and made sure that the guests were taken care of. They prevented something that could have been a negative customer experience from turning into that. Dominic was clearly continuing to make improvements to make the system go faster. Even though check in took longer than normal, it still felt like we were being taken care of.

This property canceled my reservation by trying to charge my card prior to the stay; I had chosen pay at the facility so this should not have happened. I booked this stay in January and the card that was a place holder was stolen between then and replaced. They contacted me with one poorly written and difficult to understand message on Expedia and gave me 3 hours to respond. They told us on concert days they do this often which is not in agreement with the Expedia terms I booked. We got no other correspondence. They canceled our room and we were without a place to stay after driving 2.5 hours and also with horribly rude front desk. Clearly by receiving this email they never even correspond with the Expedia booking service to cancel it that way either.

We stayed here because we were going to a concert at DTE. Super clean! So close to the venue and so many restaurants close. We actually walked over to Art & Jake's for a drink since it's in the same parking lot. Will definitely stay here again!

New hotel conveniently located off the highway and 1.5 miles from Pine Knob Music Theatre. Very quiet. Ample parking and a short walk to nearby restaurants. They wrote the breakfast menu for the following day on a board, which was nice. The free breakfast was egg fritattas and biscuits and gravy.

The hotel is quiet, no traffic noise despite being right next to the freeway. Walking distance to Pine Knob and a nice sidewalk. Our bed was way too soft for my liking and lumpy. And the little bed pillows weren’t working for us. Our room was VERY clean as was our bathroom.

The room and stay were excellent, except the breakfast was lacking. We stayed for four days, and there were always just a few little pieces of hot food in the serving stations. There was either nothing in them, or we took the last of the food because that’s all that was there, and others were left waiting or without. It wasn’t what we expected, as we were looking for a satisfying breakfast before going out for the day. Otherwise, the stay was comfortable and clean!

We stayed here because we were going to a concert at pine knob. It took us about 20 to 25 minutes to walk there. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Morning breakfast was also good with lots of variety. The water pressure in the shower was very low but other than that everything else was excellent! Also, eat at the restaurant next door. It was very delicious!

Overall, the experience was ok. The room was clean and comfortable. However, when I took a shower in the morning of the first day it was cold and would not get hot even after ten minutes of running the water. I informed the staff about this, but the next day it was the same. Also, I had cereal in the morning from their breakfast area and the milk was bad. I informed the front desk and they said that others had complained about it and they would let the breakfast attendant know. My question is: "if others complained about it, why was it still being served to guests?" The front staff were friendly, but they were pretty slow at checking me in. However, she had mentioned that she had only been there a month so I'm sure they'll get faster with time. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be back any time soon.

After the last few times I've utilized a hotel, I was pretty jaded and fully prepared for disappointment. I'm happy to say that this hotel restored my travel faith. It is exceptionally clean, the beds and rooms are very comfortable, every employee I interacted with was pleasant and friendly, and the continental breakfast was far above average. We had no problem getting a great parking spot, and were within walking distance of our event. This is the best hotel I've stayed in, in years. It is so great that we will definitely be looking for more events in the area. Thank you to all of your amazing staff members and whoever manages this facility. You folks are at the top of your game. I only wish that Michigan had more places like this. We even got up a little late the day after, and went to the continental breakfast at the last minute. The two ladies who were working were very nice and accommodating and we certainly appreciated that. They went above and beyond and even got extra food out for us. Please give those ladies a raise! I almost hope word doesn't get out about this place, because I'd sure hate to not be able to get a room here in the future. 😀

Very easy to get to from I75. Newer hotel. No daily room service, but they will do trash and towels if asked. Very close to Pine Knob amphitheater. Lots of places to eat within walking distance, fast food and sit down. Breakfast was so-so the days we were there. They ran out of pancake batter and syrup the first day, plates the third day. But over all, not too bad.
