A truly memorable stay that I will never forget! The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. The spa was closed during our stay but the hotel more than made up for it by upgrading our room and providing a welcome gift on arrival (champagne and chocolates). This and all the other little extras made our stay even more special and we will definitely be returning! Attentive staff, beautiful surroundings, perfect location, stunning views, comfortable room, and the restaurant was lovely too! Thank you Grande Real Villa Italia, 10/10!

Great location, soacy and nice room. I was expecting coffee maschine and turndown service in 5-star hotel, but no! There were not enough sun beds by the pool, and guests were reserving the beds for hours without using them. Very frustrating! The breakfast was averige. First morning, the service was really poir, and the stuff was just ignoring you, but new waiters came the next morning, and the service improved significantly.

The room was spacious and the bed enormous! Robes and slippers are provided as well as bottled mineral water, coffee and tea in the room. The hotel has a nice spa.

Vackert hotell, mycket trevlig och serviceorienterad personal. Frukosten var väldigt bra och restaurang Belvedere bjöd på mycket god mat även om man fick vänta lite väl länge på att beställa. Poolen hade saltvatten/bräckt vatten vilket är väldigt skönt så man slipper klor. Något få solstolar om man ska önska något mer.

Breakfast ok but eggs not covered over so we’re not very hot . Gym was disappointing. Only 2 bikes and one wasn’t working and one treadmill and some weights . Hairdryers were not very good in the bathrooms

Unfortunately in major need of renovation. Outdoor pool is very dirty even has stuff growing inside of it. The rooms have stained rugs and weird smell. The hygiene and cleaning need a massive make over. We will not come back until this is done. Food and drinks very poor quality and extremely slow service. The breakfast serving has a weird smell about it unfortunately.

Fraca limpeza nos wcs. Cabelos e outros detritos de anteriores hóspedes no chão que demonstrava alguns dias de graça higiene. ( nos primeiros 2 minutos deixei cair uma toalha no chão e apanhei a toalha com cabelos de outras pessoas cavaleiros loiros com sujidade de um chão ) Quanto ao segundo episódio, pedir para alterar para um quarto para algum sítio que não para a zona onde passassem carros a toda a hora e propuseram pagar um valor absurdo e para Aumentar a tipología, contudo pequeno almoço excelente!

An Amazing stay in a great hotel with very professional and friendly staff. We stayed during national blackout day and the staff was unbelievable reactive by organising a free of charge bbq for all the guests. Never experienced that up to now. Rooms were clean as really nice. Pool was not heated but at a nice temperature that allowed to swim and relax a real 5 star hotel level

Lägre standard än förväntat i både rummen jag bokade. Rummet med havsutsikt var utsikten givetsvis fantastisk. Badrummet bra förutom att taket av plåtskivor lyfte som ej var fastskruvat när man öppnade dörren. För övrigt renoveringsbehov. Sviten hade bra standard på badrummet men för övrigt låg standard med skitiga heltäckningsmattor, slitna möbler, konstig lukt, trasig bäddsoffa. Det rullades in en extrasäng första natten istället som i sin tur var sliten. Utöver det behövdes inte väckarklockan ställas på grund av skällande hund och återkommande sopbil utanför svit-rummet. Frukosten var bra. Åt middag på hotellet 2 av 7 dagar. Maten var väl tillagad och god. Servicen överlag var varierande.

Staff was very welcoming and helped with whatever we needed. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The pool was very nice. The buffet breakfast was delicious. The hotel was within easy walking distance to the town and marina. We would definitely stay here again.

This property did not provide service commensurate with 5-stars. The staff was rude and indifferent. They didn't both to seat us or serve us at breakfast and tried to charge us for parking when it was included in the registration (it still says so right on Orbitz). Worst, there is a weekly concert series on weekends just outside the hotel that goes until midnight. The music, and especially the thumping bass, was so loud that we could not use our balcony at all and could not sleep until the concert ended at midnight. Many other hotel guests complained as well.

The view from our Ocean-View balcony were worth the stay. Also, the bathroom towels were better than other hotels. This is a "resort-feel" with a great pool area but the nearest beach is a 15 minute walk into Cascais center where there are lots of restaurants. We took the train to Lisbon center (about 35 minute ride) so we got the best of both worlds - city and resort. Lots of walking on cobble-stone sidewalks. The weather in Sept was hot and sunny.

Very quiet traditional hotel. Located a bit remotely from city, but on nice walking distance. Everything works, but hotel requires refurbishment. Sea view rooms are large with nice balcony, but interior or quite worn. Breakfast is ok with a lot of variety, but nothing special. Wi-Fi is not very good. Ok, but not a 5star.

Everything about this hotel is 5 star. However, our room was above the entrance/road and unfortunately it was noisy during the nights and woke us up. I would highly recommend this hotel but request a quiet room. We didnt get a free bottle of wine as stated on our booking!

Everything was great with the exception of there being excessive noise one night from a wedding party. The hotel venue is right next to all of the rooms and is excessively loud and we could not sleep. The venue should either be further from the rooms or there should be noise control. Other than that, perfect hotel.

This property is beautiful and conveniently located. My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and didn't want to leave. The bed/bedding was SO comfortable I slept like a rock every night. We got an ocean view balcony and it was worth every extra penny. The staff was very friendly and the pool area was nice. We had dinner at the Belvedere for our anniversary night and the views are unbeatable.

Restaurant manager was arrogant and not friendly. Though we as a family had 3 expensive rooms for 7 nights, he refused us to book dinner tables outside. Thus we had to have dinner in the city center instead of the hotel. He should be removed from that position. But the Hotel Assistant Manager was fantastic and super.

Staff at reception were great and super-helpful. They gave us an upgrade upon arrival and lots of help with restaurant bookings etc. The valets were also fantastic. The only area that needs improving is the pool staff; they bring drinks, but are not helpful with pool towels, water and so forth. There were dirty towels and used glasses left everywhere. Everything else was fantastic: location, view, quality of bedding and accommodation, parking and the maintenance; there’s even a peacock who canes daily from the nearby park for a stroll: so cute!

Worst, there is a weekly concert series on weekends just outside the hotel that goes until midnight. The music, and especially the thumping bass, was so loud that we could not use our balcony at all and could not sleep until the concert ended at midnight. Many other hotel guests complained as well.

By far, this hotel is the best experience of our entire 6 week stay in Portugal. From the moment you pull up to the entrance, the service is of the highest level and it extended throughout our 4 night stay. There are too many examples to provide however a quick example. I realized while driving that I had lost my sun glasses. I called the hotel to let them know they were missing and they asked if they were black (found on the floor I. The hallway outside our room). When we arrived back at our hotel, a gentleman met us as we were exiting the car and handed me the sunglasses. I’m still not sure how they knew me as we were only on our second day at the hotel. The rooms are large and beautiful with wonderful views of the ocean. The buffet breakfast is amazing. I look forward to my next stay!

An Amazing stay in a great hotel with very professional and friendly staff. We stayed during national blackout day and the staff was unbelievable reactive by organising a free of charge bbq for all the guests. Never experienced that up to now. Rooms were clean as really nice. Pool was not heated but at a nice temperature that allowed to swim and relax a real 5 star hotel level

The front desk and entry staff are amazing. As you exit your vehicle, they are there to greet you, help you in any way as your room is arranged. We were at the resort 4 nights and everyone around the front desk helped us at any time of day with planning, ideas for a rainy day, etc. The breakfast buffet has anything you would want and makes for a perfect start of your day. Rooms are great.

My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer, we definitely will be back! This hotel has amazing palace facility but the thing that makes it really unique is the team that greets you with a smile and takes care of you way beyond regular. We stayed during the huge blackout, everything was chaotic around but the team took care of us - updating, resuming water supply with a generator and taking care of meals for all guests free of charge! Thank you for the hospitality, thank you for providing comfort and smile!

The view from our Ocean-View balcony were worth the stay. Also, the bathroom towels were better than other hotels. This is a "resort-feel" with a great pool area but the nearest beach is a 15 minute walk into Cascais center where there are lots of restaurants. We took the train to Lisbon center (about 35 minute ride) so we got the best of both worlds - city and resort. Lots of walking on cobble-stone sidewalks. The weather in Sept was hot and sunny.

However, the Wi-Fi is very bad and in the rooms almost non functioning which is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. They must upgrade. Also the cocktails 🍹 in the bar are a sad story. Must improve. Vackert hotell, mycket trevlig och serviceorienterad personal. Frukosten var väldigt bra och restaurang Belvedere bjöd på mycket god mat även om man fick vänta lite väl länge på att beställa. Poolen hade saltvatten/bräckt vatten vilket är väldigt skönt så man slipper klor. Något få solstolar om man ska önska något mer.

This property is beautiful and conveniently located. My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and didn't want to leave. The bed/bedding was SO comfortable I slept like a rock every night. We got an ocean view balcony and it was worth every extra penny. The staff was very friendly and the pool area was nice. We had dinner at the Belvedere for our anniversary night and the views are unbeatable.

Our stay at the Grande Real Vila in Cascais was spectacular. The room was beautiful and very clean. The staff was so accommodating and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing!
