Absolutely perfect little hotel. Beautifully decorated throughout. The hotel owner was really welcoming and accommodating. He made us feel most welcome Fantastic morning breakfast. Chinon is a lovely little town with a number of restaurants and a lake side bar. Great little over night pit stop for us to help us on our way to the south of France.

The Hotel is located over the river from Chinon, so a good location for visiting the town and exploring the area. There are 3 parking places outside the hotel but there is a secured off-site car park for hotel guests a short distance away. We visited during the very hot weather in June 26 and our room was very warm at night as a consequence, an electric fan is provided which we had running all night. The breakfast is traditional French fare and very good quality. There is also a courtyard garden which is ideal for relaxing in or taking your breakfast. There is a wide choice of restaurants available in Chinon and we used Bistrot Fauve in the main square, which is associated with the hotel.

Absolutely amazing hotel, so relaxing and the staff so welcoming. Will definitely return. Our room was amazing, so comfortable and quiet. Easy walk into town and the recommendations to eat when there own restaurant was closed midweek was excellent. Breakfast very nice..
