Great stay at a location best for two nights to visit both the Dingle peninsula and the ring of Kerry. Nice lively restaurant with locals on a Saturday night

Wow, Thanks Elizabeth, you provided each guest just what they needed in a thoughtful, caring way. That is amazing when running the pub, with the colourful regulars, and blow ins from all corners of the world. You provided the very best of Irish hospitality in a gem of a place. Thanks for being so generous with your time and guiding our local travels. What a terrific family you are. I wish we could bring you home with us! Warm regards, Dom and Julie from down under.

Stayed 2 nights

Check in was not very welcoming or informative. We weren't told about how to get in during bar closing times with a key in a Lockbox. Breakfast is only served between 9 & 10am with No Flexibility. We were offered a sandwich to take away instead, which looked disgusting so didn't eat it. Also, we stayed 2 nights and on the 2nd day we returned to the property at noon (the bar was closed) so we couldn't get in, it was all locked up. The entrance door for the accommodation is different to the one to the bar. Only by chance we saw someone inside and knocked on the window. She said you can't check in until 4pm, but after explaining we'd check in the previous day, she let us in, but with no apology. When we explained this to the manager the next day, he asked : didn't anyone give us the Lockbox Number ? After we said no, he shrugged his shoulders with no apology. Our room was average at best, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. Would not recommend.
