Excellent stay. Food is great. There’s no elevator, so the front desk guy took two heavy bags up to the room. Go on Google maps, then drive the roads up the valley and west up the hill for a surprise waterfall and pastoral farms hanging on the cliff side.

Wonderful hotel. We had a spacious corner room with views of the fjord and a rushing river, which was delightful to listen to at night. Nice bathtub. Great restaurant but you have to reserve dinner in advance. Very cute town. Great staff.

Das Hotel ist etwas weiter weg von Geiranger entfernt. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und ruhig, so dass man abends die Ruhe genießen kann. Man merkt, dass das Hotel mit viel Liebe geführt wird und wieviel Mühe man sich gibt. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Bett war bequem. Wir haben für uns das Abendessen gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen und können es absolut empfehlen hier unterzukommen, wenn man es abends etwas ruhiger mag.

Lovely guesthouse in a beautiful, quiet spot, but within striking distance of Geiranger,(approx 1/2 hour drive), so we were able to use this as a base for activities we'd planned in Geiranger and then retire to the peace and quiet in the evenings. Friendly staff; great breakfast; exceptionally comfy bed; option for dinner in the evenings too - we really enjoyed our 2 night stay during our Norway tour!

Ayant la chambre 2, une des deux du rez-de-chaussée situées face au salon commun, nous avons été dérangés par d'autres clients qui ont discuté au delà de minuit. Par ailleurs comme cela avait déjà été signalé dans un autre commentaire, l'escalier grince et nous avons été dérangé toute la soirée par les allers et venues. En conclusion c'est un hôtel un peu cher pour essayer d'y dormir. Sinon le reste est tout à fait correct.

A beautiful property. inside and out. Everything was done with a special touch.. the guest book in the bedroom, the nice menus, cute little handwritten place cards, and all the messages left throughoit. Dinner was nice, especially the trout salad. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and made a special effort to explain the dinner courses when serving them. Sehr charmante Pension die es einem leicht macht sich wohl zu fühlen. Das Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen und sollte bei einem Aufenthalt unbedingt in Anspruch genommen werden. Das Frühstück konnte ebenfalls überzeugen.
